I hate the idea of breaking up Davin and Joel. As for Roy? More compatible? Eh.. throughout this story he’s always had eyes for the twin girls so this doesn’t track unless he has an epiphany and frankly I can see Davin straight up telling him there’s more fish in the sea than the one’s already taken. Fish elsewhere. Idk I can see Roy being best friend and maybe best man. But to use his story to split Davin and Joel? No. Something else would have to be the cause of that.

Mmm shower sex is soo hot. I half expected Joel to say yes to Davin’s “can I fuck you?” question. This was such a great bonding chapter for them. It took a minute for sure but i am really hoping they bond so well now it becomes obvious they’re more than just friends. also, @Krista you need to write this story through the the baseball season. Otherwise that whole baseball angle in the story is pointless

At times a story as dark as this is one needed to help remind those of us who have self destructive habits we struggle to shake and are feeling too weak to fight it anymore..alone.. For me, especially this time of year around the holidays, as they’re chock full of trauma anniversaries, .. I am just looking for someone who can relate ..really relate to the battle of my that never really seems to end. Sure, therapy helps a lot but I confess that a lot of times it feels…unfulfilling. Like you’re in the mood for a specific food and are really hungry for just that and don’t want anything else but getting it isn’t in the cards for whatever reason. So you find something else to fill the hunger and while what you found was good, it wasn’t what you wanted. So, that’s where GA and stories like this come in. It’s a safe way to fill that ache without the extreme risk. So thank you. So many phrases and “thoughts” through Simon echoed how I feel so often it is refreshing for me to know that I am not alone because even though this is a fictional story based off some real life experiences for you, it isn’t fiction to me. Thank you so much for pushing through and finishing this story. Oh and yes, a story of chapters 8-12 would be wonderful. hugs, Silent-ish

Let’s hope not. They’re a better match. Rory is kind and caring and thoughtful and selfless. The complete opposite of Nathan who isn’t capable of loving Robbie how Robbie needs much less deserves. Rory is. Perhaps Rory can be pansexual and love the person and be sexually attracted to the person they love regardless the gender

Yep. Still standing on my original comment here too. While there aren’t too many signs to readers Ridley might be gay (this is GA after all) and some not so subtle hints Gabe is, I think if this story weren’t in a Gay Authors story forum, some might not pick up on both boy’s hints at their orientation. Frankly, I really like this subtlety. It gives the feel that this story could be a slow burn and there isn’t a damn thing wrong with that as the character building with these two at least is well thought out. Ridley finds comfort and solace in isolation. Gabe’s focused attention on to Ridley is showing how thoughtful and caring Gabe is by his comments. The back and forth banter in Ridley’s bedroom hints at Ridley and Gabe hitting it off quite well regardless how resistant Ridley is. I think Gabe has already picked up on this.

Yes I’ve noticed…

Not trying to rush a good thing here at all. But then again, I am not the most patient person when I find something I am into be it a book, hobby or even a person. I want the whole 7 courses delivered, downloaded, whatever so I can gorge myself unashamedly. Sad thing is for me, I don’t even realize in doing it (again) until it’s too late. When I met my partner (of now nearly 25 yrs), it was a bit…overwhelming at first for them until they learned they could direct my focus. Then apparently I’m cute. 🤷🏻‍♂️So here we are and it’s safe to say after this long now, I know them better than they know themselves and they know me better than I know myself. I knew they were the “one” because I’ve never experienced someone who can essentially control me like they can and keep it honest and safe and with good intentions and that sold it for me. The grass was never greener elsewhere. I’m lucky I know. I don’t feel like I deserve them at all. I definitely leveled up. They say the opposite of course. We will agree to disagree contentedly there. So yeah, I’m ok with the pace of Joel and Dav..I see the big picture potential and love it. I just want more and I want to devour it . I know I know! Down boy! 😂

I must say I really like the way Joel and Davin have gotten closer and just their affection has developed. It’s subtle yet not in moments of nervousness. I’m ready for more 😂

How about maybe a chapter or a branch off series from Tommy’s perspective when Nick and him reconnect and how Tommy sees Nick’s change and growth and how he sees Nick and Jack interact and how he recognizes his own longing for a relationship like that with someone and enter in stage left Jonah? I always felt like Tommy was a much deeper character or at least had the potential than what we’ve seen. Idk maybe I’m a bit biased too because the name Tommy the name of a boy I had a super bad crush on in my early teens and was too terrified to lose him as a friend. Sigh.. woulda coulda shoulda but didn’t. Such is life I guess.
