I like them. They met again after a break and just smoothly fit together. They had lots of sex and loved what they did. They found things in common they enjoyed. You have me wanting to know more and wanting to see them grow as friends and lovers. I suspect there will be challenges and unexpected problems. Thank You!

After a long and scary search in narrow passages, they may have found the amulet. But they also found a rotting body and are hopelessly lost. Is there a being ready to kill them? They do not know how to get back. They are wet and cold and they are in the dark. The torch no longer works. Will some evil force kill them? Or, will they simply die unable to get out of the lower keep and caves. What a desolate, hopeless, sad ending . They have each other and need luck to get out. "Even now, the big man dauntlessly stood his ground against the all-encompassing knowledge that they were dead men. Nathan allowed that courage to seep within his own self, to accept his end with the man he loved."

BTW, drsawzall, I think you pointed out a deficiency in the author's references. What British adult ,like Jamie. would not find many Dr Who examples among the paranormal beings he sees? Let's hope Jamie has better sci-fi insights next time in my opinion.

I found it fascinating that Jamie brought unreal experiences he faced into comprehension and focus by connecting the actions and beings to the movies he had seen. His professional training and super skills saved them till the minister broke the egg and closed the portal. Now they have a few days respite--supposedly. Will the next attack be even more deadly since this one failed?

Very poetic and mysterious--Mark , the real son of Beatrice turned as a baby by Luis, can heal his family from the curse. Mark has pushed Grey away. But Sebastian reaches out to him and is pulled to him and they kiss meaningfully. How can Sebastian do this given his attitudes and opposition to Grey and his affection for Mark. How does this influence Sebastian? Please, I need more answers! I hope the next chapter or two will bring more clarity. We think Grey in the present has to remove the curse. Can he also with others bring Mark back?

I guess we will soon what happens and if it makes an impact helping Simon and more.

Keith is being himself fixing things and analyzing situations/objets and really fits into Thomas's work world at his charity. The boss likes him and his quiet competence . Thomas seees a need for more of his time to do what is needed. Alison, the boss, invites Thomas and Keith to take up an unused part of man upcoming spa session. Now, that activity is going to be something new for Thomas, if not Keith. Thomas will certainly be talking to Keith about it to find out what a spa session is, if they decide to tale part

After a dangerous trek across the desert Simon and his two orcs reach the bastion. He is separated from his friends once inside and taken eventually to see the High Council. The lords are bored and he is dismissed without his petition being heard. He lands outside the keep being magically transported. I hope his orc friends are sent to him. Lord Crusnik took an interest in him and sees his untamed magical power. Will this Lord seek out Simon and use him for his purposes? I can see Yidian and Simon want revenge.

They reached the keep and it is dark and creepy. Their first exploration was unsuccessful. They rested for the night inside and saw several ghosts that ignored them completely. Nathan thought they were reliving their last day. This could mean that the evil spirits the lord released could appear to end the ghosts or???. Will Nathan and Brohm be caught up in the ghostly conflict? They are just fumbling around and have no idea where to find the amulet. If they do find it, will it be protected and take a battle with terrible forces to capture it? They will need to be on their guard.

What a tense, suspenseful ending Keres who is mentally unstable and a sociopath had the upper hand until the end. He just knew he was going to win and escape. Husdon thought he had control over Keres when he found him alone and Hudson had a gun. But Hudson did not count on Keres having a way for a needle to be aimed at his neck knocking him out. Hudson was going to be killed on stage after a death by a thousand cuts. Angel was the first to be tortured on stage. Before it was to be Hudson's turn. Otis is knockedout but begins to recover. Jackie announced to the audience the calvary--cops--are here and caused pandemonium. People flew away.Jackie shot the guy trying to stab Hudson. Jackie pulls Otis away and begins to flee. Otis stops and goes back to save Hudson. He finds Keres ready to kill Hudson. Keres calmly and most assuredly states Otis won't shoot him. But, Otis does, He has no doubt Keres is evil and must be killed. In a final act of commonsense and protection, Hudson asks Otis to give him the gun and lie down. No one else should be shot mistakenly by the police and Otis could be if he holds a gun. The police are running in and Hudson should be seen as the killer and not cause any trouble for Otis. Keres got what he deserved. He was wrong, so wrong about Otis and that was so very right for Otis and Hudson. What a scary, violent conclusion with the good guys winning and the most evil one being taken out. Now, let us see how Hudson and Otis recover and become closer. Hudson is going to kiss the lovely eye of Otis and much more.

Sorry--Mel Torme's ancestral family home was in Poland But, I am expecting who ever formerly ruled through the keep left very unpleasant things, traps, surprises for anyone trying to steal from it. Since we are told the Keep struggles last three chapters something serious happens. It will not be a simple in and out search and recovery and run back to the witch. Nathan and Brohm will be tested.

Keres is too confident. He has somebody guarding him that Hudson cannot see, I bet. I also think he has a secret way out since he knows the police are coming. Will Hudson be killed and will Keres steal Otis away to torture him later at his own pace ? We will find out next chapter if Otis and Hudson survive? Keres..." I suppose that the good guys in blue will appear at some point. But that will only make it more interesting. Let’s say that in my life I’ve learned the thrill of cutting it close. Would you like to hear my story, Mr. West? My real life story? We have time, and you’re still trying to decide whether killing me would lead to the demise of that beautiful thing or not. Aren’t you?”

Wow. We learn why and how River was emotionally abused as a child from 8 on. His mother called out of the blue and shocked him. He kept his distance from her mentally and physically in California to maintain his sanity. He did not hate her. It is what it is. He lived in a new world that he created now. His mother was looking at his pics at 8 and later and saw that the soul was drained out of him and realized she did it by her demands and expectations. River tried to comfort her but did not disagree with her. He expected her to berate him for his tattooing. Instead,she praised his artistic talent. He will have to rethink his protective barriers his used to keep him sane from her. This support was a great swing. Little did she know that he was gay and his asshole was also now on display for pay on another site. River is going to mull over this conversation

The Keep looks a far bit away.They can find it if they try,I bet. They are motivated. It is their only hope for now. But I also bet that evil will be present to stop them from taking the amulet. The witch did not warn them . Maybe she did not think they would seek the amulet if they knew it would be fiercely guarded by ????? Well, we will find out soon enough.....

We find out Nyle has a thing for Nathan. He is helping them because he has strong feelings for Nathan who has not returned his desired connection. Unfortunately they overslept. Someone sees then and wants to turn them in for the money. The amount is compelling. Brohm handles him and breaks is wrist. Underthe pleading of Nyle they let him live and go on their way. But, surely the injured man will report their presence and a party will be sent out to find them and collect the huge reward. Nathan and Brohm are in more trouble and must be on the lookout for trackers.

What an interesting story of two men and their families as they connect, conflict and grow. One moves back to town after an illness and develops a closer relationsip with his sister and her son. This man grows to really like his builder who is making a home they will eventually share They find common ground and stand on their own helping both their families see them better. There are some holdouts. Life is not perfect. BTW, a large inheritance arrives and is going to be used for wholesome purposes and does not cause conflict among the main figures. They grow up. You end wanting to read more about the two male stars. They are just starting out,,,,

I join in thanking you for a good story of interesting people who made the right choices. I do hope you bring Colin and Owain back to us as they get married and move ahead.

What a perilous journey to safety. Armed guards tried to stop them. Then a terrible magical creature of the forest kills Curtus. The two boys have to grow up fast , now on their own. At least, they know where to go. Let us hope they both make it to their goal.

Xavier became a half elf without illusion. He shifted into his second skin as he called it from his great sand dragon form. His magical nature was still visible if a mage studied him and saw a large shape around his body. Garnet's original second skin was as a sand dragonling. He thought this was too strange and made him stand out as unusual. So, Garnet used a magical ring that cast an illusion that he was a Orakin like Olpha which others thought made them look like present day large Illorcs.

The moment this happened, he linked his mind with Conth’s so the two became as one. Even as Conth’s first arrow streaked downward burying itself into a White Dragonling’s skull, Ornam did a sharp bank, lined up parallel to the line of Dragonlings and let out a stream of acidic spit. Half a dozen Dragonlings screamed as they felt their scales and skin underneath start to melt. As Ornam banked back upwards, Conth used the knowledge of what Ornam was going to do, to easily stay on the Dragon’s back and fire three more arrows, two of which hit and dropped Dragonlings struggling to fill in the sudden gap in their lines, while the third impaled one of the White Warrior Dragon’s tongues as it opened its mouth in an attempt to breathe on Ornam even as the Dragon departed. The arrow caused it to twist violently and hiss in pain. This also resulted in wasting its breath weapon on nearby trees and a line of Alphar with flaming shields. Ornam fought hard to gain altitude and angled toward Vondum, while praising Conth with mind speak, “You saved both of us from certain serious injury. Well done! You are everything I hoped you would be! We shall make a great and ferocious team.” He then shouted in Dragon tongue as he struggled to catch up to Vondum, “General! White Dragon, escaping up the ridge to the northwest! Looks like its wing is broken as it is grounded! Garm and Alphar are in pursuit, but are being held up by Dragonlings and a pair of Warriors with injured wings trying to hold their encampment. Conth and I opened up a small hole, but I do not think it is enough for the Garm and Alphar to easily shatter the line.”

Xaver talked about the ability of dragons to shift to a new form.... ...."It was one of our most jealously guarded secrets.” “Why?” Slaygo asked, but it was Ardi who answered. “Because if the ‘lower races’ were to find out, they would band together and destroy every dragon they could. The fact that anyone on the street could have been a dragon, well…” She trailed off not really knowing what words to use. So, does this mean that green dragons will be sought out and killed since their secret is now known? Will Prince Milan send somone to Kandric's headquarters to let him know that green dragons can shift. Besides, at the end of Kandric a green dragon shifted around the king and told him of the plan to take back their lands and destroy his kingdom. The green dragon was killed. Kandric will find out soon when he meets the king who knows he has a more serious dragon threat and needs Kandric's help.

OK--I am very interested in reading your sequel. You have me excited by your new plot.

The discussion of the death of the Sand dragon queen and the ability of Royal sand dragons to change their skin became too much and a break was needed. A story was suggested. What a change of pace--a historical story that is true and fascinating ! ‘The Chronicles of the Obsidian Night.’ Thorn, a well regarded Alphar, is known as the Obsidian Knight. An injured young red dragon sorceror falls to the ground and is found by a legendary alphar and his injured griffin. Rogue, the red, is healed slowly. He will recover. The griffin, Tam, still is not fully healed with an injured leg. The Alphar rider, Thorn, keeps things in perspective and knows he is not able to take on the hated True green without his griffen in fighting shape. They are preparing to take Rogue to his battle lines. Rogue has an insight after watching Thorn and a weakened Tam fly and land and explains loudly that Thorn can ride him into battle. The chapter ends with Garnet choking on his drink as he hears that someone will ride a dragon. He spits out on others nearby. He calls riding a dragon as blasphemy. But, the young around the campfire says it is a true story. There are, in fact, dragon riders. This could be a paradigm shift for the sand dragons. It might make them more powerful fighters?? Will we find out?

I wonder how long it will be till Prince Milan sends an emissary to Xavier with a reply to his note? What will he say or offer? Might he offer to send troops to help Xavier at the City of Lucas the Lost?
