All true. Perhaps not as bad as a death sentence, but virtually a living death. The particular piece of land I saw for sale was indeed listed at 399k. Obviously not prime real estate. I’d look up what any if Cain or Able’s children were named, but the only time I open a bible is in a hotel is to see if previous visitors hid cash.

I might have to adjust the finale to share middle names. I should have named the girl Sandra. Able would have given her 2 middle names, Lisa Ursala. Applesauce, missed that one too.

Didn’t really think about that. Maybe Able has really good health insurance. Like I responded to @Summerabbacat above, Kathy is breathing on her own. Brendan won’t ever have to make that decision.

A little. I didn’t want to make him a billionaire or anything. She woke up, but would she suffer less if she didn’t? Being aware and nit being able to do anything seems pretty awful to me. Able will find out what’s coming to him. I figured having a Christmas moment would be nice.

Brendan didn’t have to worry about what to do for Christmas. His company always had a Christmas Eve dinner for the employees and their “families.” Significant others were welcome. Perhaps as a calming action for Ollie, Andre and Chris can at least submit a request. If it has to be X more months before it can be official, at least Ollie will know that it will happen. Oh, man. I just pictured Leon and Scott's wedding from Roseanne.

Nice, loving chapter. They're all coming together as a family, or should I say extended family. Seems Andre, Chris, and Ollie aren't the only ones considering themselves part of the family. As an aside, I don't know what happened, I must have unfollowed this thinking it was something else. Kind of shocked when I got a notice about a comment in chapter 28!!
