As I just replied to Anton, the professional help is in the works. Crabs? Interesting. How about crabs, fire ants, scorpions, and piranha? Although obviously not all at the same time.

@Anton_Cloche I know you've read other stories of mine, so you probably know I won't be taking it easy on these POS-rents. The discussion about the doctors begins in chapter 6, so "next chapter" isn't quite accurate, but that ball begins rolling downhill soon. Again, details come later because as you're probably aware, getting a doctor's appointment in short order doesn't happen very often. The details about the sellers' requirements haven't come out yet, but Brendan does have a discussion with them at the closing. I ask your patience in this regard; a lot still has to happen before then.

She probably got her training from spermie. Even though she was the oldest, perhaps their parents were stricter, and she never had an opportunity to abuse her brothers. Aside from kicking Brendan out, of course. Wow. I had no idea. I suppose when a movie is made out of my story, they can say 'based on a true story.' Okay, not really. Funny, I didn't.

Definitely something I will address in the future. Another item with coverage at a later date. I have to consider exactly what I will do to them. I've had a couple similar scenarios in at least one other story. I don't want to repeat myself. But I'm sure you know, they're not getting off with a slap on the wrist.

After a long lunch, allowing the boys some time in the play area, Brendan took the kids to look at the house. It was roughly halfway between his and the kids’ house. One thing he wondered about was how Nick could run, and walk, for most of two days between the two houses. It would probably have taken him less than two hours. I guess it shouldn't be a surprise about the type of abuse. I was holding onto to that for a bit, but you all are too smart. My feeling on the stuttering wasn't that it was related to any abuse, but as @Summerabbacat indicates, the head strikes could lead to something else. But will it? I'll agree that Nick's abuse has been the least brutal. A revelation in chapter 4 may cause a change of opinion on the psychological part. Complicity will go to the wayside in chapter 4 as well. Thanks. As with most criminals, they have to rot in jail for a long period sometimes even waiting for trial. -
