    Shoot, that's too complicated for me. Manny would end up drenched in beer. Perhaps. But your first sentence may limit the amount of patience required. He's safe in the restrooms, I've already written an attack occurring there in another story. But there may very well be other areas of the school I have left void of attacks before.     Well, he is a thirteen-year-old boy. Impressions are everything. A nine-bedroom house, with heavy-duty security, an indoor pool, tennis and racquetball courts, riverfront property? Very high standards must be assumed. We'll assume they passed the smell test. Middle school rules of engagement really aren't that much different than those in prison.

    Thanks. As I’ve said before, the words seem to come out of my head by themselves and I’m still surprised every time I seem to take yet another step up. Yes, he is definitely lucky to have so many in his corner.

    There are better times ahead, for sure. But since it's always darkest before the dawn, I do have to warn you, dawn isn't quite here yet, although I think the darkness recedes a little. But you should always be prepared for the roller coaster to appear at the top of another drop.
