Thanks. I did move things along pretty rapidly. But aside from making them big stars, flaming out is not unreasonable. Glad you came to love the characters.
He was growing tired of listening to platitudes of condolences. He thought that if he heard another, “I’m sorry for your loss,” he would kill the person who said it.
This is so, so true. And a nice little story as well.
Calm is the norm from here on. Maybe. Added the characters as a trigger for something else. They won't play a part going forward. Good or bad? Yes, one of those.

Colton texted me during the day to tell us not to eat before we came over to check out the house. After he got home last night, he discussed the plan with his parents. His mother insisted on cooking for everybody, especially since Dave's family might be neighbors. Since Dad was over, Dave drove. His Escalade had more room than Patty’s vehicle. Although, I could have acted as Dom's booster seat, haha.
We got to the senior Kang's a little after six-thirty. Joon had set the kitch
Late to the game very late), but thanks @Cia for the excerpt. A nice little story. I too wished a nastier result for the General. The shark could have at least taken a small chunk of flesh. But then, who wants a shark with foot poisoning. Gawd, that's bad...
I'm not sure if it was mentioned anywhere, but if the garage has an entry from inside the house, Devin could transition in the garage, and stay low while they're leaving. If Nosy Nellie checks to see if Devin is home after seeing Mac leave alone, they could say he was asleep and didn't hear the door. No transitioning in public needed.

The five of us piled into Patty's Cadillac CT5, after I moved Dominic's booster seat into it. Dom and I didn't need to go, but Patty wanted extra eyes to find anything that might be wrong with the house.
As we walked through the house, Sal picked the bedroom furthest from the master. Who would expect anything less from a fourteen-year-old? None of us saw anything wrong that wasn't cosmetic as long as it wasn't hidden by boxes, anyway. Patty said the current owners were lookin
They ought to pick up a couple bibles, go down the road a piece, then transition into Luella clones, knock on her door and tell her they're her guardian angels, and she should not be so nosy, the devil is watching her. She might be so freaked out, she'll move. 🤩
OK, maybe not.
