Poor Johnny-boy; on top of losing his parents, not understanding what changes his body was going through, thinking he ruined the bed. Another good job.
It makes one question just how aware comatose people are. The train of thought is an interesting perspective. Completely different topic, but I did one of those many years ago. I included it in a nifty story that probably wouldn't fly on GA. Well done.
Too much truth here. In the US, veterans are often left to their own devices regardless of how well they are able to care for themselves. This situation probably occurs IRL all too often.
Not a request for help, but more an enhancement request. Often a chapter has many comments. It would be nice to have a link to the next chapter after the last comment.
Finally got around to starting the series after enjoying ‘Baxter Boys.’ Looking forward to reading more. I’m happy there truly are people like John, Jeff, et al, who are willing to help those in need. Unfortunately, humanity as a whole doesn’t.
Probably not an uncommon observation of my story endings.
I was there once, but would love to go back. It’s an easy place to have a thing for.
True, but it barely makes up for having your life ripped out from under you.
True, but even traditional couples that want to adopt have to make the request.
