    Chapter 1

It kind of sucks reading something almost a year after it was written. Everything has already been said. I’ll be short and sweet: Amazing. I could relate to some extent, having had my own mental health issues. Never to the extent of Shay’s mother. But there was one instance of running away with the intent of jumping off a bridge in front of a truck. Instead I spent a few hours in the woods before I realized I was being stupid and went to get help. If you think you may need help, you do. Find it and live a full life.
  2. Bullies and gay bashers don’t fare very well in my stories. I haven’t started the next chapter yet, so no spoilers, but based on past history….
  3. Candace would have been an interesting turn of events. I definitely envisioned an older woman. A 16-year-old girl would probably walk off in a huff but not seek out the manager. Very ominous indeed. I wonder what this crazy author has in mind. I like your thinking @weinerdog but sorry to say, you’re probably not right this time. Probably.
  4. You think I’m evil? Challenge of being even more evil accepted. When the band freezes to death at a concert in Antarctica, it’s your fault, @Quixo 😀😈😃
  5. Cool. Rollercoasters are fun. Reading should be too. I’m glad I’m succeeding in that regard. Oh, by the way, props on the proper use of capisce. Seeing ‘capish’ annoys the shit out of me.
  6. "Good morning Mr. Lincoln." "Elias, please Bruce. Good morning. I suppose you're wondering about the loan forgiveness." "Yes. Obviously, I'm happy about it, but confused too." "Yes, I'd imagine so. Would you like a drink, coffee, tea, water? I believe you'll need it." He'll probably need something a lot stronger, if Elias is right. "Coffee, black, then." Elias gets his assistant to bring them coffees. "OK. First, let me tell you I have a lot of say in how we ha
  7. Don’t Blame the Band. Implies blaming everything else maybe? Who knows? This author is crazy and unpredictable. Probably because he doesn’t know what’s going to happen until his fingers type it.
  8. I was expecting a lot of sad and anger reactions. But like I said above, I had second thoughts about killing off Tyler.
  9. yeah, I had second thoughts about that, so I added in the mix-up.
  10. Wednesday November 23 Since tomorrow's Thanksgiving, school is a half day for both Ant and me. Because of that, we all decided we'd get to the studio earlier. Mick and the team at Atlantic were actually happy to hear this. I didn't know for sure what songs we'd be doing, so I brought my sax and harmonica. Since we were going in earlier, they asked Tyler to as well. I thought it would be fun to take the bus into the city with Tyler. He got the added benefit of not having to walk to the bus s
  11. I wonder too. I hope the author tells us soon.
  12. The hatred is deep. It’ll take something really big to accomplish that. Hmmmm.
  13. Nope, I never use cliffhangers of any kind 😈 The whole incident came out of left field for me. Not sure yet where I’m taking it.
  14. We wake up Monday morning a little before 7:00. I'm not usually up this early if I don't have to be, but we crashed pretty early after what was essentially my temper tantrum. Reggie's behind me, spooning me. I have to take a leak, but his naked body up against mine feels so good, I hold off as long as I can before I throw on the pair of sleep shorts mom brought, but obviously didn't use. I trek to the bathroom and take care of business. When I get back to the room, Reggie's on top of the covers,
  15. Paragraph one: just gotta say “we’ll see.” Paragraph 2: It’s set in 1988. Not a time where cameras were everywhere yet. ATMs, probably, convenience stores, a few other places. Surely not like today.
  16. Wednesday November 16 "Hello?" "Pete. Michelle." "Hi Michelle. How are you?" "Doing well, yourself?" "Awesome. Assuming you have good news for me." "Awesome it is then. I've finished my review, along with some back and forth with Bill Arnold. I'm waiting for his feedback on one final point. I should have that probably tomorrow. I'll let you know for sure, but I should be at Garson's either Friday or Saturday night with two contracts for you guys to sign." "Two?

    Epilogue

You don’t know me from Adam, and I just started writing here, but I’d be willing to accept the challenge to fill in some if those missing 8 years.

    Chapter 9

    Die, Patrick. Die.

    Chapter 3

I know I’m many years late, but being new to GA… “he reduced me to nothing but a love struck vegetable.” Classic.
  20. Once we wake up and take care of early morning bathroom needs, Reggie convinces me that since we're all skinny dipping later, it'd be OK to go downstairs for breakfast nude. "Good morning boys. Did you sleep well?" "Um, yeah." I try not to stare, but it's har...difficult. Mrs. Lincoln is standing there, stark naked talking to me. "It's OK to look Matt. I know the first time it seems strange. I don't mind." "Um, thanks. I'll try not to stare. Sorry, but you're the first n

    Batch 50

They need to let us pick two reactions. Love the story, glad Riv and Gav finally did IT. Sad that it’s over already. Well, a load of astone2292’s other stories to get through.
  22. I'd say at least partially you mentioning it. In reality, from my perspective pretty much any Molly Hatchet song would work. Danny Joe Brown was awesome, RIP. Jimmy Farrar was OK. DJB probably one of my favorite singers of all time. Of course, 'one of' probably means somewhere around 10 or 12. 😁. Seeing their 4 guitarists (including bass) lined up in concert was awesome. And actually, I considered Ant being questioned at least, but I figured it was time for just good things to happen for he and Pete.
  23. Tuesday November 8 - Atlantic Records We start out, as requested with 'Free Bird.' While we're playing we see smiles all over the listening booth. Then, as we previously decided, we go through our songs in the order we wrote them: 'Live Your Own Life' 'Love, Hate, War, and Peace' 'Try Harder' 'Running Out of Time' 'Trust Your Fears' 'Eye Meets Eye' 'There's Time Enough to Die' 'Will My Love Grow?' 'In Another World' 'Watching Li
