Friday June 16 - Dinner at Derek's After a shopping trip and dropping the food off at Jeremy's, it was time to head to my house for dinner. I warned Jeremy that he'll probably get hit by a wave of questions. He said he was ready. We'll see. We talked about the potential job change and name change and decided to not bring those up for now. We need to consult a lawyer first. "Hi Derek, and welcome, Jeremy." "Thanks, Mrs. A." "The meat loaf has a little while to go yet, so why d

You'd look pretty silly in the swimming pool in a suit. 😁

No, technical things stick, so no issues at work. It’s really weird what gets saved in long term memory and what doesn’t. Books, not usually. Songs, quite often.

You almost made me go back and look for contractions the shaman used. Then when I saw the quiz, all thoughts of review went out the window. My reading comprehension is so bad, I’d definitely fail the quiz. Although it does have one benefit, I can read the same book multiple times and not necessarily know what’s going to happen. Anyway, another good chapter. Now I’m like the rest of your readers and must wait for the next installment.😢

The ‘Mother Earth’ explanation answered an unasked question I had. I was thinking about the hawk and owl. Couldn’t they have transitioned into something larger and thus drag the bird down to the ground or force a release? But if they’re not in contact with Mother Earth, where would they get the additional mass from? They couldn’t. Then bye bye tiny skinwalker.

Repeat on the good chapter. We had an indoor cat get out so I set up a camera to try to get him back in. I saved the video of him coming on to the porch when an opossum was there. I guess the opossum wanted the food I was leaving out. If I can figure it out without using my real youtube account, I’ll upload it.

I agree. The wrap up sounded like cliffie setup to me. Made me think of the Ray Bradbury novel, ‘Something Wicked This Way Comes.’

I’ll see sooner than a week, being late to the game. They could have really freaked out the other beast/skinwalker by transforming into the jolly green giant. Something even around a third of its size, 18 plus feet should scare anything away.

Jeremy's Story and Derek Comes Clean
Lee Wilson commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Jeremy's Story and Derek Comes Clean
Bryson was (is) his given name. He took the name Jeremy Berger as a way to try to hide from his father. His amnesia wiped out everything after leaving home. -
Of course it’s possible. They can do whatever the author wants them to do, even teleport or survive in outer space. A fictional character doesn’t have any limitations. 😇

The Navajo code talkers was also the topic of the 2002 Nicolas Cage movie, ‘Windtalkers.’ Big step coming up for Mickey.

Jeremy Berger Begins to Disappear, and Clearing Hurdles
Lee Wilson commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Jeremy Berger Begins to Disappear, and Clearing Hurdles
Interesting ideas. On Mrs. Linden, would it surprise you if maybe she has a camera hidden the apartment? Yeah, it would surprise me too. But if you recall, one of Jeremy's first returning memories is kissing Derek outside his door. Did the watchful eye of 'the old bat' catch that? Hmmm Daddy dumbest might be even stealthier than that. Would you put it past someone who checks the phone records every month to install a 'Find My' app on their phones? -
Jeremy Berger Begins to Disappear, and Clearing Hurdles
Lee Wilson posted new chapter in Rocked To The Core
Friday June 16 I pull up in front of Jeremy's apartment to let him out, knowing we'd have to walk at least a couple blocks after I park the car. He's not even out the door yet and Mrs. Linden is rushing out her door. "Randall is coming right back, please don't park there." "No Problem Mrs. Linden. I'm just letting Jeremy out so he doesn't have to walk as far." If you waited fifteen seconds you'd have seen that, you old bat. "Oh. OK. Thank you." She goes back inside,- 7 comments

I could think of a few people in my lifetime that impersonating them and it costing their jobs would have been nice.

Derek, and Letting the Dominos Fall Where They May
Lee Wilson commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Derek, and Letting the Dominos Fall Where They May
Obviously Derek recognizes the issue: We have to get you legal again as soon as we can. Knowing that and accomplishing that successfully are to very different things. I wonder if Derek knows anybody who might be able to pull some strings in the DA’s office? -

And that would be a problem why? It'd fake Jeremy Berger disappears. -

Definitely something I've been thinking about. This may end up being a place where fiction bears absolutely no resemblance to fact. We'll see what I come up with... -
Derek, and Letting the Dominos Fall Where They May
Lee Wilson posted new chapter in Rocked To The Core
Monday June 12 - Afternoon After lunch I headed back up to Jeremy's room. "So, I called my company. They understood, especially with William's death. My job will be waiting for me when I go back to work. The timing will dictate who I work for directly, but they've definitely got enough business to keep me on." "Awesome. That means we'll be able to get our own place sooner." "You mean?" "Yes. I've decided I will move in with you. I can't say exactly when, I need to discus- 16 comments

You're welcome and thanks for the compliment. A sequel may come. I have another idea I’ve been tossing around, plus I still have Rocked to finish. -

Thanks for the feedback, as always. Yep, Sabato rubbed dome kids the wrong way. Funny, kids usually like Saturday (translation from Italian).
