I'm totally impressed by honesty they showed on first date. Usually, it takes some time to know each other, people are insecure and afraid to say something that could chase the date away. These guys put all the cards on the table. Leon has so many different, sometimes ambivalent sides of his personality. He is very professional, stoic, confidant guy...with his planning abilities and analytic approach sometimes shows real German mentality (as Mike noticed). On the other hand, he is insecure (which is understandable knowing his love history), romantic and, what surprised me the most, his 'submissive' relationship with Brian (but that can be also understand as part of growing and learning). His family is also interesting. Police as 'family business' as with doctors, lawyers etc... Too sad that pater familias blinded by homophobic veil cannot see how good (police)man his son is. The oldest son as model is totally out of cliche. Although we still don't know much about him, we can suspect that he is straight...so, it's straight model brother and gay brother policemen. And off course, badass daughter policewomen. 🙂 To be honest, a boyfriend proposal is a little bit sappy, but I can handle it if it is not too much! 😉 Sex is nice but it is still learning about each other's body, preferences etc... Mike and Leon have potential for great smut story! They are great guys, everybody should have a boyfriend as Mike or Leon...oh, and let's not forget...everybody should have a friend as Nam! Good work @lawfulneutralmage, now that we know some of their personal history, I can't wait to see development of this story and their relationship.

Your characters are so original. As soon as I have read the chapter, I immediately recognized the style. Dark Star has been one of my favorites stories I was reading before becoming a member at GA. I'm sorry I never left review at it. This first chapter promises a lot of fun...I mean, what to add to this:

Yes, it can be understood as teasing. I've connected this to his previous comments but, according to his general behavior, I'm sure Andre has outgrown this issue. Oh, not need to...knowing your characters, some of them seems very fluid on Kinsey scale! 😁

WoW, that was a Chapter with capital 'C'! So many things going on, so many clarifications and information...and some new characters! Great! Well, Andre and Jamie finally shared their history with Michael and Chris. It wasn't so hard, was it?! Interesting to see there is this (un)disguised influence of Beau which brought both couples together. Jamie, like Beau is not very much respectful of others personal space, but, as long as Chris and Andre like it, it's ok to share bed and shower. Generally, this foursome looks very closely together, even in sexual way they are 'dancing' on the lines but, as their relationships are growing, having sex together seems like natural sequence of events. Instead of breaking their relationships, that could be something making them even stronger and unique. That doesn't work in every story but here it seems ok. Andre mentioning Jackson as a threat shows he is still fighting his insecurities. He should look upon Michael and Chris, and their reaction to dirty dancing their significant others performed in club. No jealousy, only pride and joy. Nice holiday. Let's see how things will develop back home...especially with family expectations for marriage! 😉

I agree with all amazing comments by my reading fellows but following sentence touched my heart: Never thought, never dreamed. I feel such compassion for Colin, so much time spend feeling worthless. It's so sad. Relationship with Owain is really a well-deserved reward. Realism of their dialogs is simply mind blowing. Well done @Robert Hugill!

When two guys meet at business conference in Stockholm, sparkles immediately arise between them. It is on their second encounter that they find out they were schoolmates long time ago in Athens. A few more meetings around the world will make them decide about their future life. A beautiful story about adult people finding out that life has given' them a second chance for HEA in each other.

Great chapter, busy night without too many heroic works but that's the part of the job. We don't have this type of 'special' police officers. Usually there are some volunteer fire brigades, but police are strictly professional. As they are volunteering, are they paid? Also, do they have to give some schedule when they are available, it has been strange to me that Mike just showed at the police when he has time, don't they supposed to plan crew or something... Two Kendo masters, two Samurais. It's Japanese sward fighting, really noble martial art. Well, I'm eager to see those Jedi masters with their sticks in bed! 😉 Oh, and Mike is a chef...amazing!!! 👨‍🍳

Small steps for the Queen Mother but seams that she is coming around! Miles is so stubborn and narrow minded that he is ready to jeopardize his marriage and family. For a long time, his attitude, opinions and requests have not been questioned. He is used to be Miles' way or no way. Well, if he doesn't change himself, there will be one direction highway for Miles!

Interesting start. Being an open gay in police forces must be a real challenge. Leon/Jamie is an interesting character, he's confronting teasing stoically, with pride and that deserves respect. I've been surprised with his honesty when speaking to Sergeant Ward, he is more man than many of his straight colleagues. Nevertheless, his roads with Mike are going to cross more times than he can predict. Let's see how connection with Mike is going to develop in the future...

Great to see new characters coming into the story! Andre is still a bit insecure when it comes to Chris and Michael which can be understandable seeing how many connections there are between those two. Anyhow, I hope that Andre will mature more as his relationship with Chris grows. Especially because, looking from aside, Michael and Chris look like ideal couple...both mature, stable, successful, down to earth. But maybe it is youth energy, light spirit and joy of life from Andre and Jamie exactly what they need to be complete. I'm looking forward to seeing how this unique foursome relationship will develop.

I can tell, this is not going to be an easy read...but, I'm already hooked!

Love story, one of those you like to read after some heavy topics. Two guys, different lives, different backgrounds, different experiences... Mark is a free spirit musician with no filter when it comes to expressing his own opinion. He is hasty guy who wants to prove he is more mature than he really is. Ross is a big boss, CEO, good guy with serious trust issues due to bad experience with his ex. He easily jumps into conclusions and tends to disappear when confronted with personal problems. A 'Teambuilding week' at ski resort and room with one bed will bring those two together. Charming moments are replaced by romantic and passion, then, after some drama...well, read and find out! 😉

This chapter goes deep into question of ethics and morality. Dirty money /Bloody money...what to do?! The biggest issue seems to be the Nazi support. In my opinion, there is difference if somebody had sympathy for Nazy ideology during the thirties of the 20th century (many would be surprised to know how popular this dark ideology was all over the Europe in that period) or directly financed and weapon supplied the Nazi forces. The second one would not be only immoral but could be considered a treason too. Supplying Allied troops during WWII would be not only justified but also rightful patriotic deed. Owain's thinking goes in right direction, they should make balance how much money to keep and how much to give for charity. Although it is mentioned at the end of the chapter, it is so important and so nice that Owain thinks of Colin as partner and includes him in something so personal.

Coming from unique @vanalas' World, this telenovela brings love, betray, passion and forgiveness. Everything is there - villains, amnesia, missing children, lie and deception. Lot of turns and cliffhangers, tension till the end of the story! For those who likes this author's work, Forever My Love is the top of the genre!

It looks like there is no use reporting robbery to corrupt bureaucracy! Nevertheless, it is going to be very important when Azula's clan confront forgery accusations. This ridiculous paper will be more important than the facts!
