Chapter 7: An ugly confrontation breeds terrible results.
Cane23 commented on vanalas's story chapter in Chapter 7: An ugly confrontation breeds terrible results.
As usual in your storis, this chapter has been a helluva turmoil! Everything is so emotional and under horrendous tension that at the end I'm completely exhausted but cannot stop reading. It's addictive! -
This has been very charming chapter actually. Outing has been a really big change for Colin and you have wonderfully described this transition he is going through. Colin is still rather shy around Owain. I've been thinking that after so much time they spent together, walking around naked, going to bathroom or showering together should not be big deal. On the other hand, Colin neither had possibility to enjoy a true relationship nor to learn more about gay culture and lifestyle. Back in closet, under pressure from his family, in constat fear what would happen if someone discovered his sexuality...he was able to satisfy only basic human sexual needs. London is completely new experience for Colin, he is like a child in candy store, and it is nice that he can share it with Owain.

I've came across this amazing story and stayed hooked on it. Closeted eighteen years old boy spends winter holiday with his sister, her boyfriend and their gay friends in ski resort. Meeting new friends, enjoying the beautiful mountain surrounding, finding love; he learns how to accept his own sexuality and face the world knowing that there are people who will support him. If you are skier, you will enjoy the wonderful excitement of slopes and winter sports. If you are not, then you will certainly think of getting ski lessons next winter! It made me think of it!

Lovely chapter, everyone is so accepting! I wonder, what might be other reasons for Andre not to pursue living together with Chris?! 🤔

Raising teenagers can be bigger challenge than fighting Huntington! 😂 They are pushing limits; they know our weaknesses and it is so difficult sometimes for Caleb to stay calm and solve issue as a man and not as a wolf! 😁 Well, good luck guys, that's what family and parenting are! ❤️ As for the rest of you my GA travelers, I wish you all very happy holidays. All the best to you and for your families. Becoming member of GA family has been one of the real blessings of this year. ❤️🎄

What a lovely Christmas gift! Thank you @Robert Hugill. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! 🎄 So, mommy dearest could handle a gay son but cannot survive without satisfying curiosity and gossip. She MUST see and interrogate her son's man! 😂 I eagerly wait to see Colin's outfit for club...if he has any! 😜

Just great, your last update has made me read all chapters. I had impression that Aquino is some conservative catholic family, so, I've been surprised that Tomas is the one obsessed with theology and God, while his siblings and mother are more science-oriented people. Why was Tomas afraid of their reaction, why did he think he disappointed his family for not being priest. Does it have something with abusing he suffered in seminary?

What started as funny intellectual rambling ended in most beautiful symbiose of theory of creation and romance. Wonderful!

Big happy family. Still wondering, will Caleb's wolf be satisfied in a long term not being an alpha?

A pay off for shorter chapters! 😂 Well, why to go in Ikea shop around the corner when you can go to Norway!!! Fancy, I like it! 🙂 Clubbing time, Owain wants to go a little bit wild - good, Colin will enjoy the show for sure, and maybe open a little bit more! Great family time with Mhairi, speaking with Colin many scares came out. Conversation can be healing. I have feeling that Owain have some doubts regarding the future of his relationship with Colin. There might be some insecurities and fear of long-term commitments, but they are obviously very good for each other. @Robert Hugill your characters are sometimes true English in expressing feelings and emotions. Nevertheless, although 'L' word has not been spoken yet, it's clear they are more than friends with benefits.

I've made a million wrong predictions, but I have to brag about this one! 😁 Cane23 6,105 Posted November 4 Popular Comment Quote Not long after, Ben held the front door open, allowing the older shifters inside. The pair seemed frailer. He noticed Zev hovering behind them, his hands ready to steady one or the other should they falter. He blinked rapidly as it struck him that Silas, the man who’d been such a stalwart part of his entire life, would eventually not be there anymore. __________________________________________________________________________________ Caleb has deserved and has paid a high price for his peace. @kbois is giving us hint about some other lives reaching their ends. I believe that elders are slowly passing over to the other side...

I'm glad it isn't. Somehow it seems unappropriated to take money from victims, no matter how grateful they are. Money might be from fae Cassiel, for saving the veil... Btw, I've forgotten to comment how great was this scene at the end of the battle, Cassiel finally showing emotions, expressing how really and deeply he cared for Kage, sharing a moment of grief with Elijah.

Yes, at the end it all looks so easy but let's not forget a hell that Caleb went through. Of course, he had his doubts and fears. He has made mistakes but all of them were out of love for his son. You have wonderfully written reunion between father and son, avoiding sappy cliches it was just as it is supposed to be. Emotional, but still conversation between two men, between alpha and his son, between two strong personalities. It's so precisely tuned, not too much but also not uncompleted. My eyes were watering reading this.

A bittersweet feeling at the end of the journey. I enjoyed every single chapter, anticipation, comments and predictions. It has been a real privilege to participate in a rise of a masterpiece. @kbois I congratulate you for amazing job you've done. You should be proud of this trilogy as it is a crown jewel of your, up to now, opus. As chapter itself, well, it's one of those chapters I like coming back to. As I have commented in previous chapter, happy tears at the beginning and sad tears at the end. So many emotions in so a few words. Beautiful. ❤️

It is not unusual in gay community that gay people live parallel lives with strong border between family and community. Mikey's sexuality has been accepted by his parents, but Harry and his wife never known this other side of their son. And it's really wonderful side, full of friendship, support and love. It is sad that only after Mikey's death, his best friend has been in his home and met his father. His friends were not present at his funeral, they don't know where his grave is actually. It's huge satisfaction for Harry to know how much his late son has been loved. That shows that his life has had some purpose and left strong impact on people who surrounded him.

Exactly the word I was looking for - semi normal. I don't think Russ has some ulterior motives but, for my taste he is just too much! On the other hand, it's possible that they are exactly what each other need so, let's see what @Robert Hugill brings for this unusual trio in the future.

Great start... A nice little cliff at the end of the chapter, just to stay awake! 🙂 I like the honesty between Chris and Andre, that's the best foundation for relationship.

Chapter 1 - The Old Man at Christmas
Cane23 commented on Bill W's story chapter in Chapter 1 - The Old Man at Christmas
You bring some serious issues with this story. Originally Santa Claus is Saint Nicholas. He is celebrated a few weeks before Christmas. Children were putting their socks on the windows, waiting for presents. With huge commercialization, especially by the famous nonalcoholic soda drink, Santa has become what it is today. On one hand, we have ridicules amount of money spent on entertainment, light, decoration and on the other hand, hungry, alone, abandoned people... Let's not forget that Christian churches around the world also forget about true values. There are amazing processions and rituals, choirs singing, everything glittering but, spreading true values, helping others, forgiving others, embracing others...there might be a lot of talk about it, but deeds are not always there. Let our faith not be just a spoken word...but it can be a written word as you have shown us with this story. Really nice Christmas gift. ❤️🎄- 28 comments

If Owain is baritone they can sing that famous gay duet from Don Carlo by Verdi 😂

That's a price for the art! 😜

As I have commented in some of the previous chapters, Mhairi is also victim of conservative parents and, later on, bigoted husband. She is opening and it is so nice. Even thinking about holiday with his sister is very noble of Owain, but it is still a little bit early for those steps. Anyway, who knows what might happen till summer vacation, Mhairi might also find her significant other! I like Colin. Please, Nessun dorma for encore! 🙂
