I'm glad that your visits to Australia can bring back (mainly) pleasant memories. I checked your profile @Lynx003 and lying in the sun enjoying Island life brings back some pleasant memories for me.
-
Indeed @Lynx003, we met Inspector Lawson investigating a paedophile ring in another story. He works for the Australian Federal Police. so he has Australia wide jurisdiction. Nathan is also in another story.

Successful con men have excellent bonhomie.

They can afford it

Noah needs to be allowed to decide where he wants to live. It will be interesting to see who else is caught with the pastor.

The controlled alcohol use would have limited one element of party chaos. Also the police visit would quieten things for a bit. Allowing anonymous reporting is double edged. It encourages more genuine reporting but removes consequences for false/vindictive reporting.

Thanks @Flip-Flop. Natasha hasn't changed and Pastor Gideon's church is fracturing. Our family group are learning to cope with turmoil.
-
Yeah, pretending concern for her son in an attempt to destroy a party. Probably hoping for arrests.
-
Not just that they knew Eddie and Mitch but also respected their bar management skills. Cops working in Licensing and Gaming would know a lot of the bar staff in Sydney.
-
I wish I'd though of pedo pastor. So apt. Natasha continues to be a VERY NASTY PERSON (to quote someone) but is being thwarted.
-
I await your further comments @Summerabbacat. Hmm CFB. Certain Favourite Bestie?

We'll need to wait and see. Maria doesn't move to live with Lachlan until next year. At present Noah and Maria are still with Natasha.

A late morning flight back to Sydney was convenient, because it saved having to rush to the airport. When they arrived home they found Rick, Simon, Mark and Liam celebrating. Celebrating was not unusual, the question was, “What’s the occasion?” Simon responded. “Mark got some fantastic news, and we look like winning against the church.” Mark explained. “My mother contacted me. She left a message on my old phone and your people let me know and arranged for me to phone her on a priv

If the WWII museum in Washington is not interested try contacting the Australian War museum. I am interested in the currency. As a young child I remember seeing currency (notes) which were described as "Invasion Currency". It was currency printed in Japan for use in countries they invaded and planned to invade. Worthless after the war.

Like many, I'm delighted that Shane and Jimmy have turned up in Thompsonville and with Shane as the local cop. Regarding the car. Shane is a street smart cop, so I'm sure he has used the rumours to suss out what actually happened. I've been anticipating Tony's extended family's appearance in the story, but there were two missing. I hope they are still together and in Macquarie Harbour experiencing parenthood. Yes lots of material for another story. 🤞🤞 Regarding Brook. Over the years I have come across many situations where a girlfriend/wife has suspected/discovered that her boyfriend/husband was gay or more usually bi. Brooks response while real is also mild compared to some I've observed. So, what do you say? I’ll give you a few extra lessons . . . and if you’re lucky I might even fudge some times and kilometre readings for you. So what do you reckon? Our little secret?’ Dual parenting is important. But,Luke do you really think fudged log book entries aren't going to be noticed by Matt?

Yes @Doha it is love at first sight, but not sex at first opportunity. Does that leave you less jealous?

I suspect the coffee you had would have been called Egyptian Coffee. Actually it tended to be named after the country in which it was served so could be Turkish Coffee. Lebanese Coffee etc. It is brewed using pulverized coffee beans sometimes spiced with cardamom and served in small cups. Traditionally served without sugar but often for westerners with sugar. I love it. It helps to restore my equilibrium. -

Hot, I drink black coffee but when it comes to iced coffee I have it with milk, ice cream and whipped cream. An infrequent, total indulgence! -

Who torched the car, and why, is a serious question. It was after the crash I assume deliberate. All those in the car left the scene at the time of the crash. Casey and his mates ran away very quickly and Levi staggered home. Torching a car is usually to hide evidence. A Learner Permit would hardly be evidence.

Yes years ago my resolution was to stop making resolutions. It didn't fail. -

I have to admit that I don't know their full RRP as I buy them infrequently and ONLY on special. -

Thanks @Summerabbacat, I do like including genuine Australian products in my stories, and not just Tim Tams. It is only Brett who refers to Nathan as Nat. I was suggesting a sibling connection. Oh I also like Thelma. -

Martin and Nathan experienced all the anticipatory turmoil before the family meeting. The actual meeting was affirming. All three groups are sure to share their experience.- 18 comments
