Tate's plan to help Richard was well meaning and impulsive, just like Tate was at High school. However one outcome was for Ethan to state and show that he respects Richard. I love that both of them have shown that when the other needs physical help they care, and provide the care needed along with the symmetry of staying the night. -

Tate has the resources, both physical and financial to simply help Richard and bring him into his life.But Tate wants to do more than that. He wants to restore Richard's confidence and self esteem so he doesn't see himself as as Tate's charity case. Tate wants a loving relationship with Richard but he wants Richard to join him out of love rather than gratitude. -
When a story's title and the opening line teasingly mimic Jane Austen you just expect the story to be a wonderfully entertaining read. Pride and Pucks and Prejudice delivers goal after goal. Just start at the beginning and enjoy every chapter until the end where you'll wish there was still more.

I feel that Tate already had misgivings about this meeting which is why he told Victor not to provide "models". Alex's job description was obviously broader than sexy distracter. Richard's discomfort during the evening no doubt contributed to him not just reading the contract but analyzing it. This chapter went well for Tate. Now things need to go well for Richard and the relationship they both want.

I'm with you @Ticklishboy30. I'm often tossing up between giving a story a ❤️ or a 😄 and wish there was a reaction that indicated that I loved the chapter and the humour.

Back in Chapter 1 Noah admits to himself about Jackson; He also came with the face and body that landed him on every Sexiest Man list ever published apparently on the strength of those ridiculous shoulders alone. And he was just my type, as his starring role in my dreams attested. Now that Jackson has a staring role in Noah's reality he doesn't know what to do with it.

I think it's 2 Viscounts. I'm sure I've included a reference somewhere to both Rick and Martin assuming each of their father's minor titles. Jonathon's mother is a social snob which can create blind spots. Enough social status and money and she'll overlook being gay or gay friendly.

Noah and Jackson have moved through their relationships from rival captains of competing teams, through being team mates, then best friends to now lovers. The previous relationships in this transition they could rationalize in terms of hockey. Now they have are learning how to be in a loving relationship.

@CincyKris you're on the money regarding Jonathon's mother. She doesn't want his sexuality interfering with her political and social aspirations. Most gay high school students stay low key regarding their relationships, more because of other students than school policy.

I was so tempted @dboggs9700. Jonathan's mother and Harlan Black having and affair. Don't think so. She's a social snob. If she has an affair it will be with someone with money and social status.

Others are agreeing with you @Summerabbacat, that Amelia is somehow behind the charges against Nathan, after all she couldn't stay quiet forever. Things may get better for Nathan faster than you think. As you suggested the issue with the school formal is that any decisions or rules applied to Benjamin and Justin would have to be applied to all students including heterosexual students. Jonathan's mother is a politician whose personal beliefs, political posturing and personal life blend like a complex gourmet smoothy. My Dixon being involved in the complaint would be difficult. He is in jail on remand.

Benjamin was keen to do two things. The next day he spent lunch talking to the Year Advisor. The Year Advisor listened while Benjamin explained that he wanted to take his boyfriend to the Year 12 Formal and wanted to know that it would be OK. I agree with you @Summerabbacat. The issue with Natasha was biblical and hypocrisy. She used the bible to attack Benjamin being gay but avoided not committing adultery being one of the Ten Commandants.
