  1. What a nice ending! I truly enjoyed this, thank you! I’m a sucker for epilogues so I’m always happy to see this follow-up.
  2. I love that Rocky now has positive role models.
  3. Wow. So much angst and feelings. As much as I wish there was a HEA for Mateo I agreed with this decision. Leaving was the best thing he could do for all parties. He kept his dignity and distancing himself from the family that pretty much took whatever he had left for himself. I don’t trust Henry, despite what he promised, and I am disappointed with Mark’s behavior. Maybe something about rich kids and their privileges? Hehe. They were both pretty selfish at the end. While Emma was the villainess here I still find her quite interesting. And really, if you think about it she got what she wanted. I also hope for a sequel with just Mateo and that he finally found the person who can love him for his past, present and future - warts and all. But for now, I can happily pretend that train ride is taking him to his happiness.

    Finding Greg

Initially, I was a bit concerned with Greg and where things might have gone for him but I’m relieved to see that he is doing well. And coming to terms with his past and himself seemed quite a journey. He is such an interesting character. This chapter seems to imply we may see more of him in the future?
  5. I’ve always thought Dan and Vaughn’s relationship was casual so it’s interesting to see they are talking about spending the holidays together without really saying they want to spend the holidays together 😄 I still find Mr H “interesting”. Still haven’t figured him out yet…
  6. When I first read this I was hooked and I was sad the story ended. 😢 And then I became happy again when I found out it is part of a larger series and then inhaled the rest of it (almost! If it’s possible to “inhale” words). 😄 If you are new to Mark Peters’ Thompsonville series, you will not disappoint!

  8. So…is Rocky going to turn out to be a ringleader with a positive influence? 🤔Interesting that Manny and Bass are slowly turning Rocky’s “snooty kid” attitude around.
  9. lol “bicycle” but joking aside it’s actually not uncommon for this mistake especially for people who’s English is not their first language. It does sound like “bicycle” when spoken by some. “hide the salami”
  10. Rocky sounds like a stereotypical rich kid. I love his responses to Manny Manny is going to have a handful but it’ll be good for him. I think.
  11. Ooh Manny sounds like he can be a complicated character even though in here he sounds like a jerk. Looking forward to this!
  12. I use the sniff/taste test if there is no visible signs of spoilage. Even dairy products passed the “date” (I throw them out when they start to “curdle”). I also keep dried spices around for years (they may have lost their flavor but *shrug*, I only throw them out when they are just dry flakes of nothingness). Did you know “sell by” does not mean expiration?
  13. Not what one would expect with the title but I really enjoyed the plot. You can wish there was more but I feel the ending was still quite appropriate.
  14. If you enjoy travel-themed romance and LDR, this will be good for you. It’s really sweet and great happy ending.
  15. This a beautiful story with an intensity that can leave you breathless. A bit of a trigger warning for mental health issues. Otherwise, well written and a great read.
