Making the transition from school life to working life rarely comes easy. Throw into the mix a young man's raging hormones and it only becomes more complicated. For Grayson Porter that combination proves a dangerous combination, but from that comes the greatest adventure and the greatest love of his life: Rafael da Silva. The question is, can they survive long enough to enjoy it?

Absolutely! 😀

Thank you. And you are most welcome 🙂

And the rest of them lived happily ever after . . . until . . .

Thank you @Ivor Slipper. 🙂

@centexhairysub thank you very much, and yes, there way be a few loose ends yet, but that's what sequels are for, right? 😀

@Al Norris thank you for your comments, and I hear what you are saying about Andy and Red. As I've mentioned already, all will be revealed in A Good Place 🙂 And thank you everyone for all your feedback! It is greatly appreciated 🙂

And thank you @Paladin for your comments and feedback. So glad you enjoyed the story ❤️

Yes, Red is a bit of a sad case really (as will be revealed in the next story in the series) 🙂 Glad you enjoyed the story! Thanks Mark

November 2003 - Matt - ‘What was that all about?’ we heard coming from behind us moments later, as we stood there watching Red walk away. We spun around to see Scott and Justin standing there, both looking somewhat concerned. ‘That arsehole just keeps popping up everywhere,’ I answered. ‘Now he reckons that they know who ratted on Thompson, so they . . . as in us . . . had better watch out.’ ‘I don’t like the sound of that,’ Scott replied. ‘It sounds like h

November 2003 - Luke - When we left the house this morning I think we all felt that this would be a memorable day. Things were heating up around our little town, but I don’t think any of us had any real idea just how hot today, or the coming days, would get. I travelled into Macquarie Harbour with Tim and Guy, as I often did, while Matt headed into town to work in his own car. As I was leaving the house I stuck my head in the door of Aaron and Tony’s room to tell the

Yeah, I have that same problem with the Powerball . . . gets very depressing after a while when I get my hopes up every time, only to have them smashed against the rocks and broken into a million pieces! Anyhow, it was Guy's car with the headlights (chapter 11) and Matt's car with the brake fluid (chapter 24). There sure are some assholes in this town! I hope they can clean the place up!

Hmmm . . . interesting theory . . . but nah. You'll learn all about what happens with Nate and Lachy in due course, of course! And yes, Guy's car, then Matt's car . . . what can I say, but the town is filled with assholes . . . but there are good folks too, as you will also soon find out in the final few chapters! I do love that everyone is getting so invested in this story! It's probably the only story I ever received negative feedback on when first posted, and the was mostly due to the chopping and changing by having each chapter coming from a different person's POV, but you guys are seeing it exactly how it was intended to be seen, and I'm grateful for all your input! So, thank you! MP

November 2003 - Tony - The house seemed so quiet after everyone had left this morning, leaving just Aaron and me there alone. It felt nice. It felt like for the first time in my life I was in a place where I was accepted for being just who I was, with no expectations on me other than to just be me. I can't explain how . . . what's the word . . . liberating, I think, that feels. I know that I probably didn't deserve to have been welcomed here, especially after the tro

November 2003 - Matt - News always seems to travel fast in small towns like ours. It always has, and I guess it always will. Whether it is good news or bad news it simply doesn't matter; the old gossip trail can always be depended upon to start up quite quickly when something is afoot. Usually by nightfall of the first day you can be sure that anyone who matters will know the ins and outs of what is going on. By the end of the second day it can be guaranteed that eve

My only experience with them was getting to pat one when I was about 10 years old and we visited a 'Waterworld' kind of place on the coast that had them in their shows. I think it was the same place where I got to hold a koala . . . geez, the sharp claws on those things!!! lol

Wow! What an awesome experience to have had! Thank you for sharing.

Thank you!

Wow! That would have been incredible (once you recovered after first thinking a shark had you!) 😀

November 2003 - Justin - There are few better ways to start the day than by spending it on the beach, I have recently discovered. It doesn't matter if I am sitting on a surfboard, bobbing on the ocean, legs dangling in the cool seas while waiting for a wave to catch, or just paddling along while watching the eastern sky grow progressively lighter and admiring the changes in colour as night turns to day. This is one place where I feel at peace. To the east I ofte

I don't think I've ever heard the term Dutch Uncle before ... but it was easy enough to figure out 🙂

October 2003 - Scott - 'Hey, did you know that they've taken in a stray out at the farmhouse?' Justin said to me one Tuesday morning in October. We were sitting at the breakfast table on the first day of school going back following the spring holidays, which just happened to also be the last day of the October long weekend. This was one of our busiest times of the year, so we were also still trying to catch our breath from the holiday rush, which had only ended the
