    I waited in the arrival lounge as Harry and the other passengers crossed the tarmac in the sunshine, walking towards the gate, then I had to wait a short while longer as the trolley with all the luggage was loaded and eventually wheeled into the building.     The sound of my phone ringing jolted me awake, and as I opened my eyes in a dim room, with somebody beside me, it once again took me a few moments to realise exactly where I was.     When the evening was all but over, the guys thanked me for the meal, insisting that it had been the best meal served from the kitchen since the renovations had been completed.     For the next hour I typed away feverishly, working on a synopsis for the story and getting down as much additional detail as I could. I had, of course, already written a number of paragraphs, scenes and sections, which could easily be incorporated into the story at the appropriate point, and these would also be used as something of a selling point when I pitched the idea to Harry tomorrow.     @weinerdog @Al Norris @Paqman just so you know, I have just started the re-editing process for Mardi Gras Murders, so it can be posted here also. I have a couple of other stories that will be posted here before MGM, but it is in the works. I would also like to publish it in book form, but we'll just have to how that goes! 😉
