    Prologue

One of the most fascinating and impressive aspects of Topher Lydon’s writings is the well-thought-out, well-researched nature of the subject matter.

    Chapter 1

I knew with certainty this story was going to be a winner as soon as I read: The day the spray-tanned bastard down south pressed the wrong button. In today’s political climate and the nightmares taking place in the U.S. (i.e., Google Minneapolis Ice shooting), the sane of us desperately need relief through laughter. An especially nice treat today, thank you.

    Encrypted

Encrypted is a phenomenal, compelling read, with mystery, suspense, governmental shenanigans, hidden agendas, and familial ties not of blood but of choice, leaving the reader begging for more.

    Access Granted

Whew, talk about action-packed! The one major downside of an excellent story is that it has to end. Oh well, hopefully we’ll see book two in the not-too-distant future.
  5. Beyond the Threshold provides a devastating look at what some would consider a cultural norm. I found it interesting that the Mangalsutra, a sacred necklace in Hindu culture that signifies an auspicious thread, proves, for some, to be nothing more than a chain of despair and indifference, which speaks volumes about the lack of value placed on females. Oppression comes in many forms; this story highlights but one.

    Story

Girls these days can’t be trusted. What a sad commentary on the way women are viewed. And to imagine how those innocent eyes held a silent storm tears at the heart. Thank you for sharing.
  7. Once Upon a Blizzard is a unique, heart-wrenching love story well worth a read.
  8. Little Raindrop is such a charming, unique take on a precious life lesson. Short and sweet, leaving this reader with a smile.
  9. Blood ties, Love bonds is a charming, sweet story about the love of father and son and the lengths one will go to for the other.
  10. What a charming story!
  11. You're the Man Now, Dawg! is one of the most unique stories I’ve found on GA, making for a fun, quick read with plenty of laughs. Follow along with Danny to discover his incredible story.

    ACME

ACME is an absolutely delightful story, taking the reader into the mind of a 10-year-old boy who is desperately seeking assistance. It would indeed be fun to write more, but spoilers would take the joy out of it. I will, however, add that one should be ready for some genuine chuckles.

    Afternoon Tea

Funny and she thinks her being such a perfect mumsie made him bypass choosing a woman! 🤣

    Ten Years

Ten Years is a beautifully moving story that should come with a tissue warning, as it reaches right into the reader’s heart. For too many, this will no doubt be reminiscent of their own life experience and a touching, compassionate tribute.

    Ten Years

Ugh, the tears and a story too familiar. Graeme, you sure know how to pack a punch! In true love stories, the emotions are always there to the end and beyond.

    Dear God

Beautifully written story about the devastating effects of religious-based bigotry, not only on the primary victim but also on others out of view. If one doesn’t understand the quote There is no hate quite like Christian love, this story explains it to perfection.

    Dear God

If only the adults in this child’s life could hear her words with their hearts... Yes, a dream, but sadly, bigotry knows no bounds. This beautifully written story brings home the fact that there are more victims of such hate than apparent at first glance.
  18. For His Own Good is a heart-wrenching story of loss and those who want to protect someone they care for. However, what is the most sensitive and loving route? Never an easy decision, especially when one doesn’t have all the facts.

    Story

A stunningly sad story, and with Ben’s chosen ending, I couldn’t help but think of my hubby’s battle with 11 catastrophic illnesses over 8 years. In the end, yes, while it was a devastating loss, we had those last years to share and leave nothing unsaid. There are no easy end-of-life decisions.

    Shepherd's Crook

So far, Shepherd's Crook is my personal favorite of K.C.’s stories. From the start, readers are treated to realistic dialogue between the main character and his father. Moving forward, the story of a family tragedy unfolds, followed by trials and an undying determination to overcome and triumph. The climax of the ending is pulse-pounding, while the epilogue is simply brilliant.
  21. Bravo, brilliant ending!

    Unseen Hands

Not ignorant at all. In fact, IRL an individual with D.I.D. (Dissociative Identity Disorder) can share space with alternate personalities, so it would reason that Josh could as well with his inner passenger.

    Chapter 8

The plains whispered of a darkness rising, waiting for the day Twm’s strength would falter—and Henry would be tested. That closing line offers an intriguing set-up for a sequel.
  24. Once in Every Ten Thousand Years is a fun, engaging, and unique little story. The last line is fantastic; however, don’t miss the tale in between!
