Apocalyptic reveals one man’s struggle to come to terms, accept, and, as noted by one commenter, experience a rebirth.

    Apocalypti

    Beautifully written.
  7. C.T. Piatt has a fantastic talent for painting emotions in the text of stories offered. What about me tugs at the heartstrings.

    Can you see me?

The second story by C.T. Piatt, and I must say I’m incredibly impressed with how beautifully emotions are painted with the words. My only disappointment is seeing that nothing else has been published since 2019.
  9. The solitude of the Photo is perfectly paced and conveys the depth of the main character’s longing, desires, and conflicted emotions. A great short read.

    Abducted

Well written proven by the animosity towards Elenore. The CFB needs to pay for her sins.
  12. All Lost Things is a well-paced mystery with old and new interesting characters. Readers will enjoy the red and rainbow herrings.

    Chapter 4

It's impossible not to become attached to the Connelly men. Seth's growth has been inspiring, and young Kane will get there. And Adam, he'll finally get to be the father he was meant to be. Ah, Eve, what a CFB you are! That's ok, you are in truth more miserable than you endeavor to make others. Better yet, one day your deeds will return to haunt you.

    Chapter 3

I'm so relieved this story is already written, the suspense of the cliff, uhm door hanger would have done me in!
  16. To miss Eden Revisited would be denying oneself a beautifully written passionate story of a journey to one's true self. Adam's road is arduous with devastating obstacles and heartbreak to finding acceptance. Along his path we meet compassionate individuals who become his family of choice with two especially kind and loving men. First, Bryant an attraction turned true friend and then Uncle Charlie who became a father figure, confidant, and support Adam never dreamed possible. A tissue warning would be wise beforehand.

    Chapter 1

...a man who’d fought a bear and then dated it Hmmm, sounds yummy. His lower back wrote him a letter of resignation. Perfect timing, after today I'm going to have to borrow this line for person use. Funny how a silent character, Weaver, can be so entertaining.

    Chapter 1

Funny, I was just thinking how impressive you are in your own editing. Not an easy task or at least not for me. A little oops out of all the stories I've read so far, you get a pass. 😎
  22. Inkognito has such a unique interesting gift. It's impressive how one can take the titles of all these and create such a work of art.
  23. Tentative reconnection of friends from online, finally meeting in person. The one who orchestrated the gathering, had held them together until... Well, it's best for readers to join the characters and travel this tender journey with the friends of old.

    Chapter 8

Love the DG's power approach. Reminds me of a private meeting years ago. My hand was aching at the time, so I was working one of those small exercise balls. The oddest thing happened, slowly at first, almost imperceptibly, the man I was meeting with started a squirm. His eyes kept shifting to my hand that was working the ball. Suddenly, I realized every time I squeezed it, he'd shift nervously until finally he crossed one leg over the other rather tightly and was leaning over as if protecting himself. Being all of 5'3.5" (hey, that half inch matters) I've never seen myself as all that intimidating but in relating the story to my hubby later, he said it sounded like the poor guy felt threatened and emasculated. Who'd have thought a shortie with an exercise ball could carry so much power?
