  1. Aunt May’s Magic is yet another amazing addition to The Boot series. For those who are at all tender-hearted, a tissue warning would be advisable. As @drsawzal stated, this story definitely has an impact. One of the best things about the series is that it no doubt inspires others to contribute in whatever way they can.

    Aunt May's Magic

The Boot series is always so incredibly touching. You’ve done it yet again! Unfortunately, I forgot tissues and was too caught up in the story to stop. It was beautifully written yet again, thanks.
  3. Jack Deveraux’s Story is the touching tale of a young man who lost his way and, as a result, lost so much more. As Gary L has said, Jack travels a redemptive journey through community service, meeting new friends and learning some of life’s most important lessons. Will he be able to set things right and mend fences?

    The Gift

Having just read Sam’s About Me section, I’m deeply saddened to have learned he’s leaving GA due to the acts of another. Having experienced that sort of unwanted intrusion, I’m aware of the necessity of disappearing. Take care, Sam, you’ll be missed.

    The Gift

The Gift is an absolutely delightful, adorable tale of a grumpy little elf, Tigg, who begrudgingly volunteers for The Great Project. Poor Tigg knows he’s going to be miserable until... What are you waiting for? Don’t just sit there, move on to the first chapter and start reading!
  6. A well-told story elicits emotions, and No Regrets - A Forbidden Love Story does just that. While the relationship the two brothers share is not for everyone, is the judgment they receive truly just?

    Forbidden

This story elicits such deep emotions, but mostly rage at the judgment that ended these two young men’s lives. They were consenting adults who entered into a relationship without coercion. No, it’s not for everyone; however, one must ask who they were hurting—absolutely no one. Sadly, though, it mirrors too many societal views. The penalty of death is visited upon those involved in same sex relationships in other countries to this day. The really terrifying part, though, is that there are those here who would opt for the same punishment. Sure, society has made progress, but not enough. Tender subjects handled with compassion.
  8. The Process of Learning is a beautifully written offering of D/s life. A line in Chapter Two states: the majority of people won’t get it. Such is why writing like this is necessary to foster truthful awareness and dispel myths and misinformation.

    Lesson #2

Too often true: the majority of people won’t get it. Such is why writing like this is necessary to foster truthful awareness and dispel myths and misinformation.

    Lesson #1

I've reeled you in. Honestly, you have with the taking of a breath. Perhaps, at some point, you will kindly continue.
  11. Jeremy spends his Tuesday evenings in a secluded booth in the back of an Italian restaurant, sipping on a glass of vino while waiting to serve a deserving select few. One evening, a client comes in, bent and broken, seeking his particular brand of service. The crack that follows.... No, no, no, this reader isn’t giving anything away; others will need to read on to discover Jeremy’s special kind of skill.

    Chapter 2

It’s been 13 years, and still this story leaves an impact. The conversations Lonnie has with Leo take me back to that morning in January 2013. There was a chill in the crisp, clear air outside the hospice. Returning to our car, the chirps and melodies of songbirds were so serene that I leaned against the vehicle. That’s when the voice came, “Listen to that.” Indeed, the sounds were lovely. Then came the chuckle, “It’s so beautiful out, just call and tell them to prop me up outside. I mean, it is cold enough.” What? You can’t be serious! Suddenly, a warmth came over me, and I felt a tender hug. Laughter came unbidden. He’d said he would talk to me if he could.
  13. A Bad Education is the tale of a marriage, which, beneath the surface, carries the weight of a growing distance, emotional neglect, and the effects of narcissism. Already struggling, can the union survive when a son’s abuse is revealed? The last chapter, “The Book of Disquiet,” provides the perfect description of the disquieted mood set in this story.
  14. Seagull’s Bay is a unique look at one man’s journey of discovering his true self. Admittedly, the first several chapters contain some seriously disturbing events. So much so, some readers might be tempted to read no further. Don’t be deterred, though, as in the last few chapters, the audience is gifted with details of an intriguing, well-thought-out psychological mystery. If one pays close attention, there might be small snippets of clues about what’s to come and who was involved. As for the characters, one might say most of them are complicated. The best advice would be to reserve judgment, as once history is revealed, their choices and predilections explain how they’ve become who they are.

  15. CasualWanderer82 has a stunningly original writing style that keeps readers entertained and wanting more through every page. Down in the Holler is the story of Jackson, a 19-year-old boy’s journey to manhood filled with grit, passion, trials, and heart. Young Jackson meets a rugged, handsome rodeo cowboy, whom he immediately becomes enamored with. There’s only one problem: someone he loves deeply has also set their sights on the man. Will the draw be too strong to pull away? As it turns out, fate has other challenges ahead, leading him to question which path to choose.
  16. Oh, what a tangled web...😢
  17. One of the sweetest, most touching lines in a story: Don't worry...I'm here.

    Chapter 16

No apologies necessary, happens to all of us unfortunately. Hopefully, things are looking up for you❣️ I'll definitely be looking forward to the rest of this story when you are able to post. Meanwhile, take care.
  19. Finding Liam is the exquisitely painful yet triumphant story of a young, successful, handsome actor whose life is not his own. One night, he escapes those he sees as wolves by slipping into a restaurant, hoping for a little peace. In a unique booth, he feels alone and desperate, wanting only to be invisible. There, he meets a young, amusing server who catches his eye, beginning a journey that will surprise them both. Following along, readers are treated to romance, well-developed secondary characters, drama, and problematic legal proceedings that address real-life issues. Can love endure the challenges of life that lie ahead of them?

    "I'm Awake"

    Both would work for me!
  21. Whew, what a chapter. Drsawzall has excellent ideas. Perhaps Liam should have hired him as a consultant. Then, rake the CFB through the fire and destroy her reputation and career. After the above is accomplished, Dboggs9700 hit it on the head, our dear Mateo will no doubt want to get involved and contact his associates to deal with that disgusting POS on a more personal level.

    "Pure Love"

Never have I ever heard nookie referred to as Oscar-worthy.😂

    "Motion Sickness"

A clue that a story is well written is when the villain is portrayed so perfectly that the reader wants to.... Hmmm, maybe it’s best not actually to put that thought into words, yes?
  24. Never Alone is the story of young Jacy, who, after losing his parents, is raised by someone whose fanatical religious beliefs lead them to deny him his heritage. Uncovering his secret past and family connections leads him on an amazing journey, meeting individuals he never knew, and the gifts of creating a family to call his own, and a surprising ability.

    Wrenhaven

Wrenhaven is a stunning, artistically written story of Rowan, a 19-year-old traumatized boy, and Elias, a strong, caring man in his 30’s. Their first meeting is far from a little rough, but each is somehow drawn to the other. Can they overcome their pasts? Will Elias be able to reach the boy? And why are Rowan and his mother, Camille, at such odds? Follow along to discover the answers. Those who do are sure to be drawn in by Nuno R.F.C. Rendeiro’s writing, as each scene is vividly painted. Throughout the tale, this reader imagined each keystroke translated into a brushstroke.
