I happen to agree with your assessment about adjectives, but women say the darndest things.
It's been a while since I've been to an amusement park of any kind. It happens to be too cold here anyway. They don't open until April.
That's an excellent way to reveal information. I do it all the time. It's especially good for 1st person. In 3rd person, there is more freedom in ways to reveal such information, especially for the omniscient type of third person.
Ugh! I can't stand people like that. I have no qualms about friends w/ benies, but if all you are to that friend is a "piece of a**" then that's not a true friend. As far as your list of handy items, you forgot vases and/or frying pans.
I believe you have misunderstood. I am talking about comparing the cliffhanger in LiS Chapter 26 to at least one of YOUR evil cliffhangers from FTL or LTMP.
I prefer not to engage in information dumping. Instead, I prefer to tell the story, leaving information crumbs along the way. It is much easier that way. Besides, I actually tend to have a lot of characters, so information dumping would probably take up several chapters.
I am actually wanting to comment about The Scar's future blackmail scheme. Let us assume that he will be blackmailing the US... Somehow, the heroes of our story have to figure out what he is planning and stop him without being captured or killed in the process. I am definitely looking forward to finding out exactly what happens!
I often purge demons through poetry. I have to be either really happy or really sad to write poetry. That makes my poetry either romantic or downright dark and venomous. I don't think I'll be having a weird night tonight. I might watch some more QAF on DVD, but then I'm going to bed.
There are reasons for my story including suicide and death. Those are subjects I have dealt with several times in my life. A childhood friend of mine actually hanged himself. My cousin's best friend died of cancer. That is the link. Death is a common theme in my writing. It's because I have lost so many family members in the past ten years.
My muse has been missing for a couple of days. I have no idea where he went. Oh, how I wish he would return as fast as lightning. I suppose everyone goes through such times. I don't think I'm "blocked", but I can't seem to think of anything when I try. I think it's more of a temporary kind of thing... at least, I hope it is.
Hardness is one I use often. I do try to convey the more sensual side. I have, however, used something a little more graphic, but it was not a scene that i wanted to be sensual. It was more or less hardcore in nature. A good one I have heard recently is casanova curve.
