I never worked fast food, But I did work in the kitchen of a rest home. And 3 of my (too many) roommates worked fast food during college. They did bring home food occasionally but nothing like mass quantities. But going into the place and ordering a couple burgers and walking out with bags full did happen a couple times. So they didnt abuse the workplace too much, but we did plenty of other ...unspeakable things. From my perspective, doing it for the good of the store is not a valid reason... unless its like a family business. But doing it for yourself cause possibly loseing your job could have dire consequences, could be. I personally wouldnt have told, but that doesnt mean much. He confided in you... be mindful of where that can lead... Its one of those circumstances where I would say telling Mike would do more harm then good. There are some songs that can drastically change my mood. Like Enya's Boadicea, Its like Comfortably Numb only better. Face to Face is great for motivation and inspiration, but if im not in the mood for motivation it can really sound like crap. But aside from that if Im angry I do usually prefer to listen to something loud and intense to accentuate the feeling until it passes. The first Do Over was the main reason I found this place. Maybe Im not as well read as most, but its the first ive ever seen from the intollerant brothers prospective and I kinda enjoyed it. It can give the effect that the father possibly was not as much of an asshole as most intollerant dads can be, he was just ignorantly following the herd. The suicide was handled very well for a short story, leaving most of it to our imagination. But the ending reconciliation with the father seemed too quick and easy. You definetly had to feel for Randy, but I didnt find myself hateing Tim until the 3rd or 4th time really closeing the door. His initial reactions seemed warranted. My little comment wasnt meant as a condemning judgment, just refuting one aspect of the whole. While I cant dispute the mans genius in music and marketing (Im also far from a fan). I do belive most if not all the charges are possibly being blown out of proportion, yes the cross is already assembled. But every lie is based partly in fact. MJ may want to act as a child and sometimes treated as a child, but as an adult he should be aware of certian bounderies, not all of which I personally agree with but they are the law. I have tried to distance myself from the whole affair but its hard to not form some opinion. Either the man feels he is outside the law (and rightfully so to a point), or hes not fully cognizant of how inappropriate some of his situations are. Either way he needs to take a big step back and reevaluate his life, or the state may force him to. We all have our demons, we all have our flaws, but having the freedom to indulge in our every whim can be dangerous, and will undoubtedly appear insane to some. I know Ive heard of donnie darko somewhere but cant place it, know I havent seen it, will look for it. Yes secret window was very predictable. Aston wasnt exactly oscarworthy but did ok, and almost half the movie is flashbacks to his messed up childhood and the kid actors did well. One movie I cant belive I forgot was Fight Club, a little bloody but can really screw with your head. ~Umbathri
