  1. Hey Benji, WT isn't complete, but Dom hasn't worked on it in a while (a bit of writers block). A similar thing happened when Dom was writing DD (there was a long break), but the story took off when Dom was reinspired to complete it. I'm giddy as a school girl imagining how wonderful WT will be when Dom does eventually get back to it. Take Care
  2. I'll see if I can go. I *thought* you guys said October and I'm going to be at a class first week in Nov. But I'll see if I can reschedule. Take Care
  3. Happy 19th Birthday Ibuprofen!!!! Hope you have a great one! Vic
  4. I'll hang out with the strVIII girls so that we can oggle guys
  5. I thought it was going to be in October??? pssst, Joe snores
  6. SHOUT OUT TO OLD FRIEND ANN!!!!! We miss you!!!!! Glad to hear you are okay!!! I was running out of clever excuses as to where you were (International Life Guard Competition in Australia was going to be my next one... but I don't think anyone would believe you'd wear those Australia speedo's that have the floss size back side). BTW, congrats on moving in with the BF (I think). Do let us know where you'll be registered . Welcome Back! Vic
  7. Just now (or as of this posting), there are 178 guests logged in and 18 members logged in. While the guest to member ratio is high, if they aren't registering, I doubt they'll be coming to a convention. Also, while we have 4200+ members, how many of them even post? If they can't be bothered to post, I doubt they'd go to a convention (Even with the complementary LRITE T-Shirts). But starting small is a good step. If you had 20 people show up, I think that would be a success. And if you can guarantee me that Menzo was going to be there, I'm game . Take Care®, Vic
  8. I think for Andy & Graeme's sake, it should be held in a big room with lots of cubicles, wireless access, and a laptop for everyone.
  9. LMAO! I hadn't notice this before Kanaye. It definitely counts that you risked your computer (especially since it happened in your household before).
  10. No . He's a newbie. I didn't want to be hitting him upsite the keyboard with all my forum cred. Remember, we're supposed to be nice to the rookies.
  11. ummm , Luke and Dave shared a kiss & so did Taylor & Jude. So you only got Brad & Quinn But good try!
  12. Welcome to the Domaholic's forum OSU Male 87! I could see how if you only looked at this one topic that it appears that the majority of the responses indicate that these fans are more concerned with getting another chapter moreso than a concern for Dom's well being. However, I do believe that most of active fans truly care about Dom. When Dom got into a car accident over 2 1/2 years ago, to his family situations, his alleged pink eye, his love troubles, when he got plagerized, etc. Most have been concerned with Dom the person, the guy who's provided so much entertainment for all of us. But you must remember, this is the Domaholic forum. You're allowed to voice your obsession with his writing. You're allowed to voice dispair because WT ch 12 hasn't arrived yet. Not every post has to be 'Dom you're the Greatest!', 'Dom you rock my world!' But anywhooo...You're an awesome fan, welcome! We'll all be happy having you with us when we pounce on the next person who tries to plagiarize Dom :2hands: :ranger: :pickaxe: :battleaxe: Take Care®, Vic
  13. busted. ummm, I think I thought about it more. In that other thread, the LRITEr in me put Seth down at the bottom, but in reality, I think I could use a 'Seth' in my life right now. I like Owen as #1 cause he was needy and insecure. I'd be able to take care of him. Also, he was hot with his short, spikey blond hair, the fruit punch taste on his lips, etc. I like Seth as #2 because he was stable, had a good job, and I dig baseball hats. I think he was a red head (which I don't really care for), but since he was always wearing a cap, it wouldn't be an issue. I like Jude as #3, because he's blond and cute. Also, I'd love to hear 'There's nothing wrong with you Vic' whenever I screwed up . The smoking though is a negative. Hope that clarifies things for you
  14. Nope, I mean the Benjamins
  15. You know, even though I'm a big LRITEr, Seth is my #2 choice for BFs. Jude is close, but the smoking thing and no high school degree brought him down a few notches.
  16. I remember reading that a while ago. Thanks for linking it, it was fun to read again
  17. That's an interesting perspective. The authors that I know would seem to appreciate that their fans would be concerned when he/she were absent for an atypical amount of time. I doubt Dom in particular would be annoyed. Maybe a smirk on his face, but not annoyed. It could just be a characteristic of more seasoned/popular authors. Vic
  18. I was all excited to read such a highly recommended story, but as soon as I started, I realized that I already read this at Nifty (I just didn't recognize the title) . I really enjoyed it at the time and enjoyed reading it again. For those of you who haven't read it yet, it's a good one! Take Care®, Vic
  19. Yay Krista on your new title!!!! Congrats! Vic 'Who can't wait to see what Krista's going to promise to him'
  20. I'm anti-milo too. The brooding rich kid who tries to earn street cred by lowering himself to public school is soooo unappealing. Plus he broods too much. But I'm a material homo, so if given the opportunity I would date him for the benefits. Take Care®, Vic
  21. Happy quarter century day Thirdeye!!!! Take Care®, Vic
  22. This was an interesting article about 'out' gay athletes. It came out in the LA Times this past weekend. -------------------- Young and out on the field -------------------- An emerging generation of gay athletes in high school and college is changing the rules. By David Wharton Times Staff Writer July 28 2007 Seattle: The guys in his boat took to calling him "Badger" because of the grimace he wore during races. Part of a junior rowing club that ranked among the fastest in the nation, Lucas Goodman was relentless on the water. The complete article can be viewed at: http://www.latimes.com/news/printedition/l...1,5154552.story Hope you enjoy it! Take Care®, Vic
  23. I LOVED the epilogue!!! I've read it about 4-5 times trying to figure out how old each of the kids were, and if what year Victoire must have been since Teddy must have just been out of school. The interaction between Albus Severus & James. I also think the last line puts out hope for a sequel
  24. And we've since moved into a gated community to keep the riff raff out
  25. Here's mine BF - Owen Gay Best Friend - Luke Straight Best Friend - Ryan Girl Pal - Lacy
