:vic2: This interview filled in a lot of blanks about what I knew about Matt, thanks!
It's been great to "watch" you grow up here on GA via your posts. While some things haven't change (not afraid to share how you feel about a topic), I don't think Newbie TetRefine would have worn a salmon colored shirt
One of the best parts of Christmas since I've moved to California are all the tamales people share. This year I also got some very tasty chile verde ones
Haha Andy, you're dangerous in the kitchen!
Does sound like you have some great inlaws.
Maybe you could put the mother-in-law to work by sitting her at a table (outside the kitchen) to cut up food or sculpt food art. That should keep her busy. You're lucky your bf isn't Filipino otherwise we'd all be in the kitchen trying to help.
We're going totally untraditional this year and having Portillo's Italian beef sandwiches that my uncle mailed to us from Chicago! :vic2:
Our dessert is the only course remotely Christmassy (chocolate peppermint cheesecake and various cookies)
Matt, I'm an Android guy (Droid X) and was considering an iPhone5 as my next upgrade. Can you elaborate what you like better about the iPhone or what you miss on the Android? I have an iPad, so I'm somewhat familiar with IOS.
But phone-wise, there are things like Swype & Voice to text that like I like about my Droid X.
I've heard from iPhone only people, but not really anyone who's objectively used both.
Thanks,
Vic :vic2:
Welcome back Dan!!! It's good to have you (and your stories ) back home!
This calls for a cheer....
Dan, Dan, he's our man.
If he can't stay away from GA,
No one can!!! :Vic2: :Vic2:
I'm so sorry for your loss Cia. My dog Mina is my most loyal friend and your post reminds me how much Mina & I communicate just with the look in our eyes.
Have you thought about letting them see the list before they arrive? That way they know what they're getting themselves into and may choose to either not come, stay with others, or perhaps stay in a hotel?
