Welcome Brandonkies to Domaholic's. Glad you took the plunge to post. <niceties out of the way> Crying out for help for years? I don't think its fair to say that the friends & family have been ignoring serious warning signs for years. Yeah he's a clean freak, but that to me is a quirky behavior more than anything else. I know quite a few people who are obsessive about cleaning like Quinn, but I don't consider it a serious warning sign. And his co-dependant relationship with Mar? If Quinn were my relative, I'd just say he was pussy whipped Most of his odd behaviour and crying out for help has been happening recently. While it does seem like Quinn has been dealing with this stuff for years (as the chapters come out too slowly - LOL), the duration of his odd behaviour in story time has probably only been a month or so. I thought I had you DomLuka, master of the Cliffhanger. After reading all these stories and chapters, I figured I knew you. I knew I was being setup. You weren't going to surprise me this time. Oh no! I saw this one coming up Main Street. As soon as we found out that Jude was at the door, we knew what was eventually going to happen . Yes, yes, we know you too well. Jude comes over, hangs out with Quinn, ends up in his bed...Let's see, for all we know Quinn still has a curtain as a door, Jude will probably we there, and we knew who would come home soon...Mrs. Moore. She'd catch them in Bed together and Jude would just about loose it at that point. Ha!! I thought to myself. I'm prepared for this Cliffy. You have become predictable Domluka! All to predictable! But WTF. Mom didn't show up. We didn't have a Cliff H. Anger moment. While realizing I was wrong about the ending, I did come to another understanding. An epiphany if you will. I have Cliff Hanger Anxiety :wacko: I believe the technical term is Cliff Hanger Anxiety Disorder, or C.H.A.D. for short. I know I have C.H.A.D. because I'm seeing Cliff Hangers everywhere or I'm afraid that one is going to be around every corner. Everytime I read anything, I wonder if I'm going to be left hanging. When I read one of your chapters, I keep a steady eye on the scroll bar (you know the one on the right side of your browser window), when I know I'm coming to the end of a chapter, I start getting tense, worried about what's going to hit me. Look, even Caliboy, Lore, and JC have C.H.A.D. (see TOU Ch 16 Discussion). JC has it so bad that he even thinks there was a Cliffy at the end of TOU chapter 16...when there wasn't one. :wacko: Not only are we Domaholics, but now we have C.H.A.D.!!!! What's next for us Dom? Hey Patrick, You do know that the last episode is next weekend right? I have mixed feelings about QAF. My BF and I are religious about watching (heck, QAF is the reason we got Showtime), but the writing and story lines are a bit, predictable. We watch out of loyalty as well its nice to see gay programming. It's a bit over the top at times, but overall its a great thing (plus I have a thing for Justin). I hadn't realized that they switched directors a lot (I wish they would have changed out the writers more often), so I can't really answer your question. But with the last episode coming up, I'm getting a little sentimental about QAF and thought I'd post. Take Care, Vic

For me, it's going to be VERY hard to start liking Dennis All the B.S. Dennis gave to Aiden, Owen, Reilly, and Adam is too unforgivable. While Dennis may have been doing those bad things to these guys because of familial influences, I don't take kindly to people who need to bring others down, to keep themselves up. I have special contempt for closet cases who bash other gay guys. Dom's going to have do to some real damn ass good writing to get me to think better of our future protagonist Dennis. But this is Dom writing, so I'll probably be loving Dennis by the first chapter . But ATM, I don't want to like Dennis. Vic 'The grudge holder' Domaholic

Over these last several months (days in story time), Jude has seen aspects of Quinn's personality that he finds attractive, not just physical attraction. - Jude thought it was so 'cute' how Quinn was being polite when he first came up to talk to Trina. - Jude saw how Quinn was a good sport and played that crazy football game with taylor and boys - Jude thinks the whole cleanliness thing is cute too - Jude likes how Quinn cares about Jude (by always putting out his cigarettes) There are all kinds of things that Jude finds attractive in Quinn, including the physical attraction. Jude certainly is doing the right thing by spending time with Quinn and getting to know him better. As we have seen as the story progresses, Jude finds more and more to like about Quinn. And remember, they have only gotten to about 2nd base, it's not like they are on the verge of marriage ( unlike Rory and Luke). Vic
