  1. Another friend reaches a milestone. Congratulations BK!
  2. Congrats Tim. Now get back to writing.
  3. What if he's holding on in an attempt to protect Chase? Sort of like someone falling on a grenade to prevent others from being killed? Or someone who willingly stands in front of someone to prevent that person from being killed. Case in point the Secret Service agent who knowingly put his own life at risk by spreading himself as wide as possible in front of then President Regan to protect the president from being further injured by Hinckley.
  4. Fine then let Dimitri kill J/S and take over the plan himself. The goal here is to protect Eric. And if J/S is out of the picture then Eric is more likely to be left alive.
  5. Your comment about the boat is exactly part of why I think J/S has gotten paranoid to the point of perhaps being psychotic. If we just leave him alone his plan will succeed, nobody will get killed, and J/S will be able to enjoy his retirement in his wholly-owned country of Scarvuay, formerly known as Paraguay.
  6. Be sure to read his first story in eFiction: After the Blood. It's really quite good. And then let's discuss it in his forum thread.
  7. Which is exactly why Eric is in danger. J/S is paranoid as heck right now and Eric seems to be doing everything he can to make J/S even angrier and more paranoid. We need to get The Goat's team to make some changes that stop making Eric do stupid stuff.
  8. Eric is definitely in danger. His stupid antics have gotten J/S pissed off at him numerous times. J/S, in a state of self-induced paranoia as his operation draws to a close, is getting sloppy and willing to kill for totally illogical reasons.
  9. Kindly ignore The Goat. He's just trying to throw us off balance. J/S has already made it clear he intends to take over Paraguay by bribing everyone in sight with the billions he intends to acquire via his bomb(s). The more I think about it though, these bombs are big and have no means of delivery other than ship and truck. How would selling them to a rogue nation serve any useful purpose? Also there are only two bombs and he intends to use one of them for some sort of demonstration. Both bombs will be in the US. So, he sets off one bomb as a demonstration of his realistic danger to others. The other bomb would be planted somewhere and offered for sale to the US for billions of dollars. The US would gladly pay the money for no other reason than to avoid the political instability that would result from both such a threat and the actual use of the second bomb in a densely populated area. J/S then "retires" to Paraguay and buys off the government with a portion of the billions of US dollars he got from the US itself. Meanwhile, why is there any need to kill anyone at all? At this point nobody involved poses any sort of threat. Even Vlad, the guy with the knowledge to build a bomb, won't have the resources he needs to build another bomb. As for J/S constantly thinking about killing people. I think he's just gotten so paranoid at this point that killing to protect his project is the first thing that comes to his mind. I offer as evidence the needless killing of the road manager. J/S would have been well within his rights to demand that the road manager get the heck out of J/S's trucks.
  10. Hi Steve. I made the same suggestion several chapters ago. I totally agree with you that a former arms dealer has to be known to some career government official and that someone is likely keeping an eye on him. I suspect these days his operation in Australia could easily be watched via satellite. Keeping track of his movements and especially the bombs seems more problematic to me. We know very little about Gunter's background. Perhaps he knows about the bomb cases and will let the right people know when the bombs are actually going to be shipped. Other than that I'm not sure how much value he would have since he seems to spend most all of his time near the band.
  11. "He" is not a man. "He" was born female and never had complete sexual reassignment surgery. Wildone's subtle comment about it not being what it seems was spot-on accurate and very funny!
  12. It's time for Gary to look like an idiot, LOL. What are the habs please?
  13. I think Jan missed that Benji! It was definitely said with tongue in cheek!
  14. He'd never blame anything on his team. He has far too much integrity to stoop that low.
  15. Wow, is The Goat capable of being so cold and cruel? If so that would suggest one of two things. The father so greedy he'd kill his own sons for money. Or he's a worse homophobe than Lump and would let his anger guide him toward killing all his kids to strike back at the one gay son.
  16. I'm not sure I understand what you mean. I guess I'll have to wait for an answer until you wake up. Sleep well my friend!
  17. Looks like he does have an equity stake in Instinct!
  18. In the real world Lump wouldn't have any legal claim to the estate of Instinct. I'm not even sure if the term estate would be legally accurate. He was an employee of the band. It was the boy's parents who owned the rights to Instinct until those rights were signed away to the three brothers. The estates of the individual band members with an equity stake would, in the absence of a will stating otherwise, go to the immediate family. I think even at this point Brandon is no more than an employee with no legal claim to any assets of Instinct other than whatever he might be owed for what he's already done. It would be nice if scoopny would offer some comments on the legalities involved here.
  19. Poor Tom. You should know by now that poking your head into unknown places can have unexpected effects! I don't understand why yet. But I cannot get the thought of a pizza with mushrooms, onions and grilled chicken out of my mind. I get this particular craving fairly often. It's definitely not just a desire cause desires often pass. If I don't act on this craving it will stay with me until I've sated the craving. I know you think that kind of pizza is gross Tom.
  20. I miss you!
  21. I'm not sure about dangerous although it does make you sexy!
  22. Brad's certainly getting an interesting introduction to GA!
  23. Wah! I don't wanna be far from men! Yeah I know. It's part of your charm.
