    Chapter 66

I think Will is doing better, and I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that he's finally in control of his own destiny, at least as he sees it.

    Chapter 66

Too funny. And I get crap for writing this like a soap opera? You guys come up with even wilder ideas!

    Chapter 66

I'm trying to get back into things, but it's been frustrating, because I've had some computer problems lately. I lost a chapter of Paternity and a chapter of Odyssey, which pisses me off. I HATE doing the same thing over again.

    Chapter 66

Glad you liked it! He's actually a lot of fun to write.

    Chapter 66

Wade won't be with us until Chapter 68.

    Chapter 66

Thanks. I'm trying to get back to a regular schedule on posting, so we'll see how that goes. I think it's kind of early to judge Ella. She's young, and finding her way in this new world.

    Chapter 66

Not sure about the posting schedule. Not sure I'm feeling it.
  8. I have to say, that when I come home from a long day, these are not the kinds of comments that make me want to write. Not to bust Westie's balls specifically, since I like him, but after a long sabbatical, when I'm picking things up again, it's just not very motivating.

    Chapter 19

    Perhaps...now? Paternity 66 just posted. :-)
  10. Mark Arbour

    Chapter 19

Glad you liked this one! I'm sure there will be mail heading back to Lisbon and London, so that won't really forestall any problems.

    Chapter 66

November 22, 2000 Escorial, CA Will I sat on the patio with Wade and Matt, staring toward the house that Darius had just vanished into. What the fuck was his deal? I just didn’t get his attitude. It was like no matter what Jeanine did to me, it was irrelevant to him, just because she’d taken care of him. I could see why he would be loyal to her, why he would love her, but that didn’t mean I had to. But what really bugged me was the way he instinctively jumped all over my ass and
  12. BTW, for those of you wondering when the next chapter of Paternity will be posted, it should be within the next few days.

    Chapter 19

July, 1797 Granger sat at his dining room table, trying to enjoy his dinner even as he interviewed Gatling and Eastwyck. Those two gentlemen sat on his left, while Calvert and Somers sat on his right. The seat at the opposite head of the table was occupied by his clerk, Patton, who was trying to eat and scrawl notes at the same time. “What did you discover?” Granger prompted. Gatling swallowed before talking. “My lord, we interviewed thirt
  14. I'm so sorry I missed this thread! Sorry I'm late! Hope you had a great day!

    Chapter 18

Thanks for the welcome! I actually haven't been adding much to Paternity lately either, it's just that I'd been on a good streak with it, and I had those chapters left when I took my sabbatical.
  16. Mark Arbour

    Chapter 18

I started writing Odyssey first, since I had neglected it, but I'll make some time for Paternity too.
  17. Mark Arbour

    Chapter 18

Like you haven't had dry spells longer than 2 months before. ;-) I'm glad to alleviate your withdrawal.
  18. Mark Arbour

    Chapter 18

You feel like Caroline? You're such a bottom. I'm glad you liked the chapter. It's sometimes hard for me to try to find a balance between action and just letting Granger exist in his normal world.
  19. Mark Arbour

    Chapter 18

Thanks! It's nice to have something to post, and even better that you all liked it.
  20. Mark Arbour

    Chapter 18

LOL. A twist? In one of my stories? Surely not!
  21. Mark Arbour

    Chapter 18

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm still busy as hell, but I'm finding that writing helps keep me calmer and happier. At least that's my current hypothesis.
  22. Mark Arbour

    Chapter 18

There is no God, but I'm glad you're happy. :-)
  23. Mark Arbour

    Chapter 18

I think it's a flattering thing to be accused of having good timing. :-) Conway probably figured that he'd wait until he was away from any major authority and they he'd just bug the piss out of Granger, although we don't know if he has a more sinister motive.
  24. Mark Arbour

    Chapter 18

    I suspect you are right!
  25. Mark Arbour

    Chapter 18

I'm so glad I could put a smile on your face. I'm sorry times have been tough for you.
