Tiffany is unable to respond. ;-)

    Chapter 11

I don't think anyone who knows Elizabeth Danfield is grief-free.

    Chapter 11

September 25, 2000 San Francisco, CA Wade “It’s a beautiful night,” Sean said as we left the building. “Let’s walk.” “Sounds good. I need the exercise since I missed practice today.” “You skipped practice, eh. Your team will be pissed at you.” “Only the captain, but he’s my boyfriend.” “Matt Carrswold,” he said. I raised an eyebrow. He’d done his research. We got to the end of California Street and hopped on the cable car for a brief ride to Chinato
  4. It is not only morally acceptable for him to wait, it's the smart thing to do. What would Billy's coming out accomplish? He's probably be stuck without a college education, and for what? It won't make a point, it won't hit the news. It will just screw up his life. When he's on campus, he can be pretty out, and his parents won't figure it out. That's a good solution for the four or five years he'll need to finish. After that, he'll be an independent entity, and they can't hurt him (financially) with their homophobia. In addition, he'll be more mature and more stable (presumably), and he'll be better able to handle any crap they throw at him once he's graduated.
  5. Good job! That's damn near spot on.
  6. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

    Chapter 27

At this point in time, the midshipman were easily reassigned. It would be entirely possible for Gatling to go with Roberts. Now whether he wants to or not, that's another matter.

    Chapter 10

That's exactly the kind of place I was thinking of.

    Chapter 10

I think you're right about Wade...he's old money, and not the type to flaunt it. As for the tapes, Matt was referring to all the tapes he had, which I believe was Wade's request. Brad's offer was a gesture a trust, as was JP's, as was Wade's refusal to take the tape from JP.

I'm not sure those kinds of returns are reasonable, but if you have that much money, do you really need all that much more? :-)

    Chapter 10

Glad you liked it! The ethics are interesting, but I think Sean will be alright.
  14. I think I'll weigh in on JJ's looks. I like the Lucas Till look, but what Tim tapped into for me was that Lucas Till looks too old and developed to be JJ right now. I see him with that very clean-cut look that Till has, but a body shaped more like that French dude Tim posted. Why? JJ's just getting into puberty, so his muscles won't be very bulky. He's basically a short, skinny twink at this point. Now in a couple of years, I see him with a pretty awesome body. Skating will do that. Still, I think he's going to be more of a lithe figure. It's how skaters are. The big risk here is Triton, since Brad's up to his eyeballs in that one. If Triton stumbles, he takes a major hit.
  15. Remember that the people we love sometimes screw up.
  16. Couple of thought on this: 1. When dkstories is reading my stories, that's pretty freakin' flattering. 2. Sex on the breech of a gun counts, especially if it was a marine. There's a hot vision. 3. Was the gun 5", or was it the marine?

    Chapter 10

Wade's place in the family was formally cemented back in Bloodlines. From Chapter 52: “Well, for the record, if you two don't make it, if things don't work out, you will still have a place here with us,” he said. “You offering to adopt me?” I joked, using humor to deflect the feelings of gratitude I felt for what he said. “I would. I would in a heartbeat. I'd be proud to have a son like you,” he said sincerely. I felt a tear fall down my cheek, then another, while he just smiled and wiped them off my face for me. “Thanks, JP. I don't think you know how much that means to me, to know that you're there for me.” “You're wrong. I know exactly what it means to have someone like that.” He gestured toward a portrait of an older lady. “That's my aunt. We called her Tonto. You would have liked her. In her old age, she pretended to be all grumpy, but it was just an act. She was there for me when André died and I came out, when I had no one else. I know.”

    Chapter 10

You'll notice, if you look, that I'm back to posting every 5 days, which was my target before, so we're pretty much back there. Still, you're right, it's not the every-three-days kicks I sometimes have. The ethical issue came up in editing, and there's some gray area there that will probably let Sean slide.
  19. Jeremy could only come up with one song. I've completely exhausted him.

    Chapter 10

September 23, 2000 Malibu, CA Wade “So why are you here?” I asked. “Because I love you. Because I’m sorry. And because I need you to know that.” He got it. I was so happy that he’d figured me out, yet again. “I have something for you.” “What?” He got up and I watched his magnificent form walk across the room, where he picked up a canvas bag. He brought it back to the bed, his dick swinging as he did, and set it next to me. “The tapes.” I looked inside, and saw V

I could definitely see Granger doing that. The question is, would Gatling want to go?
  22. That's an idea, to be sure.
  23. Great advice from an expert! Working with you has not only helped my writing at GA, but the writing I do for my career.

    Chapter 27

I'm glad you liked it! We're heading toward the end of this story, so this gives us a little bit of closure on a few of our loose ends (Somers and Roberts).

    Chapter 27

January 29, 1797 “Seventeen guns, Mr. Clifton,” Granger ordered. He focused his telescope across the water at the boat carrying Sir Gilbert Elliot and his staff, and their ‘necessary’ baggage. It filled Belvidera’s launch, and would require copious amounts of space below. Granger wondered at his original desire to host the commodore, and what that would mean to his ship. God help them if they engaged an enemy. They’d be fighting with furniture and art work all arou
