  1. That guy is too hot to be Grafton's dad. I can really see this guy as Sean, but I think I envisioned him as being a little more polished.
  2. Absolutely. But I can certainly see the Earl and Countess of Bridgemont in that circle.
  3. You're right about that, of course. I hope you will forgive the poetic license, but it makes it much easier to give Granger a setting to descend into upon his return. You did forget one very important additional venue: WIndsor. George III loved it there (almost as much as his court detested it). I'm hoping to be more diverse in the home arena, especially when the time comes for Granger to spend more time there.
  4. I'm kind of with Tim on this one, Jeremy. That guy looks like a good pubescent model for JJ. Not all dates go well, so I thought it would be kind of fun to show Wade struggling along with the dating scene. I don't know that I see an Alpha male as someone they'd need. In fact, maybe someone more submissive would work better. I haven't figure that out yet. Elizabeth Danfield wants things to be her way, period. If it's not a dire issue, she'll let it go, and mentally tally a few pissed-off markers against the person who defied her. It it's serious, she'll go postal. Still, she's a smart and calculating woman, and she certainly understands the doctrine of mutually assured destruction.
  5. I think the threat would have to be against revealing the Brotherhood, which she hasn't necessarily been trying to do, and not just against outing one of it's members. As Westie has pointed out, though, Davina's family is immensely powerful, so any move against her requires a considerable amount of caution on the Earl's part. As far as Kerry knowing so much about what was happening with Bridgemont, a certain amount of that must have been public knowledge. Even today, we have the Fortune/Forbes lists of wealthy people. Beyond that, i would think that Caroline would have shared much with him, knowing that he was going to meet with George, and knowing that she could trust him. The big question is how did she know she could trust him?

Allejandro....He's been AWOL and so has Kevin. I'll have to update everyone on them.

    Chapter 26

Happy New Year to you as well!

    Chapter 26

Thanks for the queries Andy! 1. I think he is. 2. I wonder how long Llewellyn will be able to hold off before he gives into his urge to do something 'bad' to get off. 3. I think the other mid was probably drunk and pissed about losing. It helps your chances of promotion to have the flag officer on your ship. Lots of face time. Besides, Belvidera had that reputation at one time, before Granger took over. 4. Winkler is the ace in the hole, so to speak, running interference for Granger.

    Chapter 26

I'm so glad you liked it! And I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who gets a thrill being able to use the rare emoticons.

    Chapter 26

    Lusty hero: I love it.
  11. There's a newsletter in there too, isn't there? I'm with JC, I think you can do it.

    Chapter 9

And this is a good opportunity to thank you for that Jeremy. I get to be more proper when I write JP. ;-)

    Chapter 9

Well, this was all the way back in 2000 (he says, making a lame excuse for an obvious anachronism).

    Chapter 9

I figured we should start the New Year off right.

    Chapter 9

September 23, 2000 Malibu, CA Wade It was one of those serendipitous mornings, where I was actually up and ready before I needed to do something. I sensed it would be an intense day, and I knew I’d have to be at the top of my game, since I’d be dealing with my mother. My phone rang, emphasizing the whole serendipity thing. “Wade Danfield,” I answered, since I didn’t recognize the number. If it was one of my friends, or someone I knew, I’d be more casual. “Wade Danfield
  16. Chapter 26 has been posted. This one's for you, Ricky. Happy New Year!

    Chapter 26

January 24, 1797 Granger leaned back in the large bathtub so his back was against Kerry’s chest. The warm, fresh water relaxed him, sapping the tension from his body. Kerry’s hands caressed his torso, working their way up Granger’s body, and while his touches were arousing, they were more sensual than erotic. He finally brought them to rest on Granger’s shoulders, where he began to knead the tense muscles. “Mmmm,” Granger cooed contentedly. “You like t
  18. Thanks Westie. I actually did some research on that. The duchess of Devonshire is a bit how I see Caroline. Look for a new chapter posting within the next few days.

    Chapter 11

If you think about how often a person has sex (with himself or others), it would be tough to write that into a story in great detail. I try to be more graphic from time to time, especially when that particular round of sex is important. If it's make up sex, or I love you sex, or something like that, I try to get more descriptive. If its' just everyday sex, I tend to gloss over it. Flogging round the fleet was often a death sentence.

    Chapter 8

Thanks. I'm having fun with this story!
  21. I love Suess-ian Rhymes.
  22. I think that if you're seducing a straight buy, you have to keep in mind what you're getting. The visual of you attempting to screw anyone that would hold still is strangely hot and humorous at the same time. I'll bet that same guy would have had a different reaction if approached in a different way. My hypothesis is that I think how the guy is approached is a big determinant in how he reacts, and feels afterward, even if nothing happens. Yep.

    Chapter 8

I don't think Ryan sees it that way at all. If he did, he'd probably be freaking out.
  24. Glad you made it through! There's The Wardroom, Master and Commander, HMS Belvidera, and the current story, which is almost done, St. Vincent.
  25. Last time I checked, you weren't a bleached blond, either. First of all, I'm glad you like this story. I'm having fun with it too. Much of what you're talking about should come out later on down the line, so I won't comment about it too much, other than to say I hadn't planned any MJ type blackmail here.
