I have to say that I went down this path, using this storyline, for a number of reasons, but I knew it was a touchy issue because of Will's age. Thanks for hanging in there with me on this. I think after the next few chapters, you'll see where I was headed.
Intra-family conflicts are the ugliest. I don't think people thought about the pox all that much back in the day...unless they got it. The only real advantage is that most of George's lovers have been younger and not overly experienced (or exposed).

The thing was poking my dad in the back, not me. It was weird, because I wasn’t really all that scared, and that was probably because I was with my dad. There’s no way this idiot, whoever he was, was going to be able to out-think the two of us. Then I had an inspiration. My hands were in my pockets, right next to my cell phone. I gently felt the keypad until I found the talk button and pressed it.
A van drove up, one of those work
Thanks! Arabic..probably not. Even my French is too bad to risk more than a phrase or two. You're a MO boy? You must love the masochistic sex scenes. (SMILE)!!!
I'm not real good at schedules, but I have set some personal guidelines for the two current stories (Poor Man's Son and St. Vincent). My goal is to publish a chapter of PMS every 5 days (sort of..on the 5th, 10th, etc), and to publish a St. Vincent chapter every 10 days (they take more work). No guarantees that I'll achieve that goal, but I'll do my best.
I understand how you feel, but I think that Freddie has some strong bases to rationalize his actions. In his mind (and that era), family was first and foremost. You were supposed to do anything you could to advance the family, and the family was supposed to everything possible to advance its members. In Freddie's case, I think he is challenged when it comes to giving back to the others. In any event, it's a pretty low thing to do, to steal money from your brother. I'm excited to write the ultimate confrontation between George, Freddie, and the Earl.
Caroline is a goddess, and if I ever decided she wasn't, Sharon would kill me. Marquis is continental, Marquess is the UK version. The wife of a Marquess is a Marchioness. In France, she would be a Marquise.
