  1. Blasphemy (I agree after she came back from the dead it was never the same; though, I liked that musical episode)
  2. I remember, sounds like a good grassroots effort. It wasn't my favorite show, to be honest i didn't watch Upn much. I want another firefly movie though so i get you vm fans
  3. Let me look up Freddie Highmore's birth year...1992, I can lust after him, he's been legal for 2 years (Not to mention the sexy british accent) I'll give the show a chance, even if it doesn't live up to the classic Hitchcock. (Vertigo and North by Northwest are my favorite of his movies, more Vertigo as it deals with ideas I identify more with.)
  4. Here Fishie, let me give you a few puppy kisses, It Looks great
  5. Just saw the trailer and instantly recognized the movie reference and story. I am intrigued that they would try to do Hitchcock on TV, but I hope they pay homage to the original story and show us the story as Norman fall into madness. Of course, most gay guys in the past generations have tried to avoid any links with the classic Psycho character, due to the negative connotations that popular views held about gayness and mental illness. http://youtu.be/Nkn5aEadrX4 (Also, the actor playing him is sort of cute in the boy next door type of way, I wouldn't mind if he was hiding behind my shower curtain, without drag and knife of course ) Anyone else going to catch it?
  6. I'd pay a subscription to see that .....<Bad horny Puppy!> On the extreme, I know guys who spend days locked in their rooms playing Halo 3 to unlock everything from headshot achievements to gun-less levels.
  7. Sweet lyrics, thanks Tet. Yo boy, whiteys can rap, too!
  8. They are giving everyone that bought this crap a free game, big whoop, I want Simcity not Battlefield 4! I was open minded to playing with other people, even if I can't play offline. I would have loved to play a simple single player simulation. However, this thing is stinking up the gaming community. It's creating backlash against DRM and online gaming. I think EA made a big mistake in SimCity, it is not supposed to be a game to be shared with everyone around the world like World of WarCraft or Eve, we could play together in small groups of our choosing, but we don't need to be online all the time. I am an MMO player, but from time to time, I want to be alone in my private creative world. A simulation game is not an RPG, they are separate genres and mindsets. Anyway, Myr I completely agree with you, Don't Buy this Game!
  9. Must turn Fish into my Beta
  10. Ugh.... I have a litany of complaints with this Simcity: Bugs, city size, money management, and crashes! I just spent $55 dollars on a digital lemon. I want my money back from EA. I am also going to put them on time out for game purchases, just to show them I am not amused by what they did to SimCity. Basically, EA games took my childhood past time, stripped it down, gave it emotional issues due to neglect and abuse, and threw it out on the street. You should not treat people that way, nor a game like that. It's complete Bullshit Give me Simcity 2000 or 3000. And I am not the only one egged off by EA: http://www.forbes.com/sites/insertcoin/2013/03/08/ea-employee-chastizes-company-over-simcity-in-public-letter/
  11. Kudos dude, you should not work in a job that cannot work for you. The aim of any job is to turn it into a career, something that you can work with and live with down the line, not a 9-5 prison sentence.
  12. Getting a bit depressed due to the download How's the online gaming going for the rest of you?

    In the Cold

In the Cold By W.L The world is complicated. We are neither perfect angels of mercy or demons of vengeance. Sometimes, you have no choice, when there are countless choices open to you. Sometimes, you think you have all the choices in the world, but in the end, you can only make one fateful choice. It was a very cold night in January. The last few days were brutal, but this particular night took the cake. I would challenge any Bostonian to walk around and wait for a bus with the icy wind
  14. A Real-Life based tale of a cold New England night
  15. Lol! That image reminds me of the Simpsons episode, where a hippie was so baked that they ate the kids
  16. ...Endless Space, Civilization, and Simcity for PC Yang, you need to go back to your inner gamer, I suggest buying a game and locking yourself in a room until you finish every level and discover every possible secret, while uploading it to your youtube account
  17. Makes me want to read an old story from cryboy.org , I hope it still exists Thanks Method for sharing, I am getting softer as I age
  18. Next year, Apple will produce the "iSee" at twice the price tag with more features Don't worry Finn, you can hide out with me in a cabin somewhere in the woods, where no technology can ever have access to you...oh wait Google satellites already know where that is, so I guess we're all pretty much doomed I think privacy is going out of style with the explosion of information technology, you can tracked with GPS, your favorite songs listed by Amazon's buyer algorithms or iTune's, and your personal contacts can link you to every group or organization in the world.
  19. "Don't let go cyhort!" Well if they want to replicate the original hit list of rich/famous for the maiden voyage: James Cameron will definitely be invited. I have had only one crush on a girl in my life, it was Kate winslett and Leo Dicaprio probably could use a cruise down record movie lane I love the history of the Titanic and its humanity from the arrogance of Bruce Ismay the Ceo of white Atari lines to the heroism of second officer who organized one of the few rescues after the sinking with his small lifeboat. Curious enough, he would later participate in the dunkirk evacuation. Despite all that humanity, I can't really agree to see a replica of the same ship on the same route. It feels like hubris that human beings will again fall to nature.
  20. http://www.cnn.com/2013/02/27/travel/titanic-2-to-sail/index.html?hpt=hp_t2 An Australian billionaire came up with the idea. Sorry, but I have to laugh at this article. There are a lot of things that makes me squeamish about boarding the ship. That scares you Sounds familiar No offense to my people, but Chinese ship construction is very new and not at all on the top tier of safety. Probably labor costs are low. Overall, I am not sure if this idea is really good or just a publicity stunt.
  21. That's why I wish adaptive programming could evolve in a system, where behaviors for a set of steps are anticipated by each core. Animals and human beings are capable of working independently and interdependently on goals and projects, steps 1 to step 5 in a five step process may rely on the preceding step, but at the same time, each core knows based on experience how to act even if the prior step was incomplete to start with. Even if your stomach does not have food yet to digest, your body could release acids in anticipation of an incoming meal based on knowledge that it is normally lunch time If each core could act like that at least, we would be at a higher efficiency.
  22. I just did teal as a compromise
  23. Why not borrow an idea from Sci-fi, use quantum entanglement and get the information transmitted across the cores nearly instantly? That way each thread would be operating with the others in tandem and you could improve the efficiency of threading. An idea for the PS5
  24. Does not compute ! I said the same thing for nearly a half a decade, but it never happened. Gpu, not cpu , won the gaming development contracts. My dream for the Ps3 was that somehow they could develop a game to mimic human actions like sims with more AI independent learning and even adaptation or randomness between the simulated humans.
  25. Yes, I see the irony that I am asking the question inside a blog It just seems weird that people can type and text out replies, but the art of conversation and discussion using words from verbal exchanges seem to be losing their hold. When a person asks for my help, they email, text, or google chat me (FYI, Google chat works like an old version of AIM ). Speech seems more like a secondary language to modern tech integrated generations, since the concept of short text seems to have caught into mainstream and professional use. Do we really need to talk anymore to keep society functioning? I know it seems like science fiction, but it is not beyond the realm of possibility, when we can achieve so much without the need for a decibel of sound.
