  1. I’m wondering what Vic has planned to ‘rock their teenage worlds’! Will he be choosing the groups himself? Or will he require the kids to choose someone not from their cliques? ;-)

I guess Ryder was listening to us when we suggested donating to Charity! Maybe Unity can organize a concert for the Trevor Project (or the It Gets Better Project)! Ryder can definitely empathize with those who are struggling with serious issues. ;-)

Oli is just now starting to find out what it’s like to be associated with a huge, successful band! Releasing Unity’s first song seemed to be treated as a novelty or stunt, Ryder Sullivan having fun recording with his boyfriend’s baby brother. Lots of people thought it was a trick with Oli only pretending to have played the drums. Other celebrities (Shia LaBeouf) have done stranger things (Shia LaBeouf). ;-)

    Um. This is Help! ;-)
  5. But I think this is a Gayer color! I used to have a ’95 Honda Civic 4-door in a similar color. Fortunately, it wasn’t a ticket-magnet like the Viper! ;-) @Dahawk, the trick is to grab the URL for the image itself, not the whole page. Right-click the image and copy the link. I always open the image in a new tab first just to make sure it’s what I wanted. ;-)
  6. I think this reaction has only happened the twice. Once with the breakup and this time with Chris. I recall it being mentioned more than once, but not that it has happened more than just these two times. ;-)
  7. So Vipers here, but no Monaros for Ember? ;-)
  8. I understood that to be referring to the breakup. It fits the timeline and that was apparently the only other time Teddy was affected so negatively by anything. Dr Theodore is the miracle worker! ;-)
  9. In a way, it’s too bad schools don’t have access to investigators the way the boys do. I’m sure there are plenty of times when teachers and administrators have suspicions about certain students’ parents. Things that don’t quite meet the level required for legal action, but seem to be approaching those levels. The guys all seem to have a lot more fun than my family did when I was growing up. But I guess that’s what happens when you have a bunch of bros taking care of kids. A bit like the dad in Mr Mom. Lots of ‘unique’ child raising techniques that women would never think of! It seems to work especially well for Levi, but I’m not so sure about their effects on Bella. ;-)
  10. Does anyone at all think I’m being serious here? ;-)
  11. You have two eyes (even if one is covered by your hair) and two hands! Why can’t you do both? Slacker! ;-)
  12. “It's become my new favorite word,” he cackled! ;-)
  13. Oli and Teddy’s relationship changed because they’ve come to realize that they need each other more than they ever thought they did. They kind of took each other for granted up until recently. They compliment each other’s skills and personalities. ;-) So Oli’s half-baked plan wasn’t as harebrained as everyone thought it would be. Music is definitely how Oli communicates best. But he’ll still be a fun interview when Unity starts touring! ;-) And both @Sweetlion and I beat @Wesley8890 to Comment? ;-)

I have an issue with what Mason said and Joel did not challenge. I hate it when anyone refers to sexual orientation as a ‘preference’! Personalizing a quote, my preference is a clean-shaven Chris Evans, my orientation is Gay! ;-)

My very old-fashioned and conservative parents (born in 1925!) were actually very progressive is some ways. My father helped out with the cleaning and even though we never appreciated his gastronomic efforts, was able to feed us when my mother wasn’t feeling well (migraines, on many occasions). My mother eventually learned to drive in the ‘70s. My mother had no daughters, so she had all three of her sons help her out in the kitchen and made sure we wouldn’t starve when we left their house.
  16. Lots of people with secrets at the class reunion. ;-) I never went to any of mine. Last year was my 40th. One high school classmate emailed me, but I got upset when he mentioned the church he attends, It was probably the same one he attended when we were in high school, but I have major issues with organized religion. I know it’s not fair because his church is one of the most progressive ones, but I was a jerk. ;-) But at least I Came Out to him first… ;-)

    Chapter 10

Devin may not admit it out loud, but he knows Kevin is the more clever twin. Kevin has probably been talking them out of trouble all their lives, trouble that Devin has gotten them into! Instinctually, he turned to his closest ally. It’s clear that Devin needs his moral compass and emotional anchor exactly when he’s fighting with his twin. ;-) No one knows where Devin is and no one is expecting him. Everyone is thinking he’s somewhere else. It will be a while before he’s missed and anyone thing to look for him. I hope he’s able to escape Paul and get to safety before anything happens.

I hate extraneous sounds and music from my computer. When I’m playing Civilization VI or the few other games I play, I turn off all the sounds and music! It’s really annoying to me. ;-) On YouTube, I turn off autoplay and download the videos to view later. On Ted Louis’ Gay fiction site, I use his special Visually Impaired page to avoid the music and annoying video. Macworld’s site used to annoy me until Safari started giving me the ability to block videos that automatically played (plug-ins didn’t always work properly). Download.cnet still plays its how-to video, but I don’t use the site very often. ;-) All of those distractions, and smells like scented soaps, detergents, deodorants, and colognes & perfumes, really bother me and I try to avoid them as much as possible. I have symptoms that resemble ADD or Aspberger’s/Autism Spectrum, but not enough to get the diagnoses. But at least they don’t seem to make me ill. ;-)
  19. You should talk to @Wesley8890 about that! ;-)

    I think I’d prefer Patrick Stewart’s voice… ;-)

At least with the version of MacOS that I’m using, I see several more voices than that. Besides, an Aussie accent is kind of fun for a change. Or a British one – too bad they don’t offer Cockney… ;-)

Only two choices? Or do they make you pay extra for more voices? Too bad you can’t use the voices Apple offers. ;-)

Does it seem like a different story if you change the narrating voice (especially if you switch the gender)? ;-)

    …but no pressure, CM! ;-)
