Elderly wealthy people have no reason to check out attics. It’s very possible that only the maintenance people were aware of its existence. There’s also an implication that the attic is accessible from the back stairs… ;–)

Ah ha! Mark is the ghost! And he’s inside the building. I had wondered if David would catch Mark living inside Central Park or something. ;–)

I once worked with an older woman who scraped the topping off the pizza and left the crust completely untouched! Jimmy Kimmel hates pineapple on pizza. And some people hate Chicago Stuffed Pizza (or think it’s the same as deep dish). My best friend loves double pesto, mushrooms, and artichoke hearts on his Chicago Stuffed Pizza. ;–)

I still think Mark is living inside the building (which explains why he didn’t want David walking him home). The hesitation over his family name might be explained by his being reminded of his parents and family. And that reminds me that I would have expected a seventeen-year-old would have moved in with relatives after his parents died, but Mark hasn’t mentioned anything like that. This is definitely a puzzling and mysterious non-mystery story. ;–)

So has Mark figured out a way to live inside the building with no one realizing he’s there? Sampling food from different apartments/condos in small amounts so they’ll be less noticed? Among residents wealthy enough not to be too disadvantaged by the thefts? I’d been leaning towards Mark being a waiter at a restaurant that granddad had checked out. But things don’t seem to be fitting together in that direction. Now I’m wondering if he’s even a waiter at all!

Eric & Peter’s summer vacation has to come to a close soon so they can begin their Junior Year in college. Then after another 90-100 more chapters, their Senior Year can start. The question then will be whether they can afford the additional time away from Makarovia to earn their Masters Degrees and Doctorates. Can they be part-time Royals all that time?

Considering the rural setting, wildlife is more likely than a domestic pet. Yesterday, there was a news report about a coyote attacking a 5-year-old girl who received non-life threatening injuries. The attack came in a Bay Area park next to a major Interstate freeway and the edges of a suburban development where it interfaces open space parklands.

Poor Sauhn druh won’t be able to keep her secret much longer. She’s going to need to tell Grant soon. Having to avoid mentioning Sauhn druh’s health condition could become problematic for Troy. I guess a walker wouldn’t work for Sauhn druh’s walks in the fields. She might need to use one around the house though. At some point, she’ll need to do something or she’ll get hurt when she falls the next time.

So much for thinking that David would be falling in love with a ghost… Unless Mark and the ghost are somehow the same person! I’m a little surprised they didn’t invite Mark up to see the apartment though. Maybe for some of that juice or something. ;–)

When I was homeless, few people realized that I was because I didn’t ‘look’ homeless. My clothes might have been old, but they weren’t threadbare and raggedy. I wasn’t carting around all my world possessions (most of mine were in storage). And I showered daily, used deodorant, and didn’t stink! So, while I was homeless, I was basically hidden in plain sight! ;–)
