Labels are important because they can help us feel like part of a group, that we’re not alone. Labels are also important for statistical purposes. If there are no labels, there is no way to quantify discrimination, bias, or needs. But it’s important that self-identification means that we can always relabel ourselves. We should avoid labeling others. Gay is an identity, not a behavior.

I’m not sure when the other part was discussed, so I hid it in a spoiler… ;–)
  3. Just curious as to why you haven’t told him. Does his mother not know? Are you planning to tell him at some point? Sorry/not sorry for being incredibly nosy… ;–)
  4. I read your stories on crvboy first. Is there a reason why you stopped posting there? ;–)

    Chapter 1

I vaguely remember bits of this story, so it’ll almost be like reading a brand new story! It’s kind of odd not having Henry & Ed as the central characters though. ;–)

It was Ryan’s first experience with someone else. Someone he’s fantasized about for years. Someone he thinks he’s in love with (but doesn’t really know yet). And he’s a teenaged boy. Of course he has a hair-trigger! ;–)
  7. So instead, we’ve turned the Comments section into a Choose Your Own Adventure book! ;–)

So is Link bisexual? Or did his experience with the Baby Mama from hell turn him Gay? This is the second story I’ve read where a pair of identical twin brothers who didn’t share sexual orientations, had the non-Gay brother shift or become more fluid. But in the other story, he was bisexual and they realized that their twin bond included a sexual component beyond just experimentation. (They ‘got’ a kid when their adoptive brother’s sister and brother-in-law were killed and the adoptive brother’s nephew came to live with his uncle.) ;–)

    It’s a reference to the author? ;–)

I considered editing my post and changing all but the first one to ‘YB,’ but that reminds me of a pin that a friend gave me in the mid-Eighties. It had a little bee on it and said, ’Why be normal?’ My mother hated it and demanded that I stop wearing it. I lost it within a few months, but I don’t think she had anything to do with it. My friend though it was more subtle and more appropriate for me than something more obvious. ;–) A few years later, I started wearing a Pink Triangle pin on my front right belt loop, even at work. I was working in a department store and I had one customer ask me if I knew what it meant. She apparently thought I wasn’t Gay! (I figured that Gay men might be looking in that area.) ;–)

So now we find out we’ve already read about Sarah! Back in Dustin’s World, we learned that Sarah had been stunned and humiliated by her Stanford experience where she had been forced to stand on her own feet without her father’s frequent and substantial manipulations to prop her up. She was already becoming a more sympathetic character at that point. And we learn why voting in a local election could have a significant effect. You’re a much larger percentage of the electorate. Just a few votes can change everything! Especially when there’s chaos and instability. And it’s so funny that Danny finally put all the pieces together and realized just who Mr Reilly and Mr Roberts are and were! ;–)

Yeet-boy got so excited by a kiss and grope that he came in his pants! ;–) I have to blame Yeet-boy’s parents for not reassuring him that his being Gay is not why they are fighting. It’s their responsibility to guide him towards adulthood. It’s not Yeet-boy’s job to parent them! ;–)
  13. Since I can see that The Green Side is already posted on crvboy and Awesome Dude, I must have read the story already on crvboy. I can’t recall it from the description above, though. But I will read it when it’s posted here. Unlike @Danners, I’ll wait until I reread at least the first chapter before I React. Undoubtedly, I’ll love The Green Side, just like I’ve loved all the other stories in the two series set, at least in part, in Rothenia. I keep hoping for new additions. ;–)
  14. So Jamie is going to be attending Robbie’s shotgun marriage to Stephanie? ;–) Unlike the situation with most shotgun marriages, Donnie will be the one forcing Robbie to marry the Baby Mama due to his misguided belief that marriage will ‘cure’ Robbie of his homosexuality. Donnie also believes that his image will be less damaged by Robbie having a child only a few months after they get married than if people found out that Robbie is Gay. Donnie will happily pay for the wedding so his buddies will see how perfect his family is, even after taking in his bad-seed orphaned nephew. ;–)
  15. If you can do a ‘Harris,’ you can do a ‘Harlan’* too. ;–) * A ‘Harlan’ is obviously a redemption as opposed to whatever you want to call what you did to Harris! ;–)
  16. I really do appreciate your efforts. It’s really annoying to try to figure out if the Reaction Notification related to one reader and ‘chapter 9’ is the same ‘chapter 9’ that’s associated with a different reader's Comment. Of course, this is the only story I’m reading that’s gotten to chapter 135. With some authors, that feat would take them seven or eight decades (and we still would be waiting for them to get to Prom)! ;–) Besides, it’s fun to tease Daniel and Robbie about potential incestuous activities, similar to the way Robbie likes teasing Daniel about bathing together! ;–)

The Don has spoken. ;–) I amputated the extra hump. Will that still get you in trouble, Dom Don? When I first saw your response, way back when, I read it with an ’N’ to begin with. I thought you were afraid that the Mob would be unhappy! ;–)

    Card #12 to 18

I have flour, but no yeast or baking powder. I have baking envy, but lack many basic supplies because I’ve never wanted to attempt making bread from scratch before. This is the closest to baking that I can get or want to clean up after… ;–)
  19. Maybe Robbie should make a quick trip back to London to pick up a very personal, handmade greeting card with the perfect message for Conner… ;–)

Residents along Crow Canyon Road in San Ramon and Castro Valley have noticed that the normally very common crows and ravens have apparently disappeared. Large flocks of crows and ravens have been seen traveling north along I-680 and US-101 into Wine Country. They’ve been congregating in vineyards in the Napa area… ;–)
  21. Don would be thrilled. Proof of Robbie’s ‘heterosexuality’ would trump his fathering a child out of wedlock. A grandchild from his troubled nephew/adopted son would be something that proved how long-suffering and charitable he is. ;–)

You were the one who asked for a dictionary-style definition. How would you have defined the word without revealing any critical information? Besides, I feel compelled to share this ‘honor.’ ;–)
  23. Would Nicola be devious enough to frame Alex? Was Mr Lube hanging around the house back then (and whatever happened to him anyway)? Is Luke the thief? ;–)
  24. Robbie hasn’t ended his long string of poor decisions. Conner seems determined to replace Fran as Robbie’s worst relationship decision. And she had the ‘advantage’ of lacking the proper equipment! ;–) Teenagers are known for their lousy decision making, but Robbie is pushing the envelope here. His close call with the two older party-goers is more proof of that. At this rate, he’s never going to survive to return to his true soulmate, Tom! ;–)
  25. With a chapter title like that, I thought Daniel was finally going to lose his virginity (to Robbie)! ;–)
