I made my brother pay me back the $80.00 I spent on his birthday billing him out on a bill when that money is all I get for a whole entire month... I'd have taken him out for dinner or something...25 bucks, no problem.... 80 dollars.... problem. Especially since I don't buy ANYONE in my family gifts. Ulterior motive. Most likely wanted his kid out of the house so he could shack up with Trevor's future evil step-witch...I mean, step-mom. He's shown constant son over his son not having a 'normal' life because he wanted his kid away from that boat and not living a life like his mother had. He also wanted to squash any emotions Trevor had for his dear old mum; along with any resemblance or things in common they may have had. I just wish Trevor would get mad at his dad again and blurt out that him and his mom have a lot more in common then dear ol' Dirk thinks... they both like the sausage. Yup, a really horrible father if you ask me. It's spelled Offense you crazy canadian cousin of mine. (On another note, does this mean I have to stop being a perv with some of these canadian lads, since they're like...American Cousins or something??? )

Hrm... I'm 28 and I have an impulsive personality. Does it get me in trouble, hell yeah. But all the trouble is worth it. I can't say that there's a whole lot in my life that I regret because of my impulsive personality (I'll be one of the first kids on my side of the family to graduate coll. with an associates degree because of it). Despite Trev's impulsive behavior, he's not stupid, and he seems to have common sense. Sure, we didn't see any common sense when he set sail on his boat because his dad was going to get rid of it, but emotions, especially love, can do that to a person. He has obviously had time to think about his actions since then; he's going to follow through on the course he's set sail on, love can make a person do crazy shit. The problem here is Dirk hasn't shown Trevor any love at all. If I was in Trevor's shoes, I'd have done the same thing. Why the hell would I want to stick around somewhere where I'm not loved? Would any of you stick around in that kind of household? Most likely not. Mind you, I suspect sooner or later we'll find out what the hell is going on with Dirk, but I'm going to take this from Trevor's point of view. Trevor is in the right, he'll make mistakes ; he's already made some in the past; he'll make mistakes in the future; He'll survive and move on. That's the nature of life.

Well now, I think he could. If I'm right he'd have to sail up the Mississippi River. He can enter that one when he turns that tub around and heads into the Gulf of Mexico toward New Orleans and then he can get on the Missouri River and past the Rulo Bridge. I could meet him in Nebraska City when he sails under the bridge, or i, I could make it to Omaha or anywhere else along the River Alas, No sailing to Lincoln for him. Wikipedia Alas, I have no idea how deep the bloody rivers are, so, it all depends on the depth of the bloody rivers.

I saw no restaurant in Chapter 9. I saw Jim and Dirk at a table, I saw Joel and Lisa out in the water, Trevor and Joel snorkelling and diving, Julie saying her goodbyes, but no restaurant scene... Is the Goat confused, perchance? Or did I just scan through again way too quickly to make sure I wasn't going senile??? Linxe

wireless mouse. I like it, it's portable and almost impossible to break. the only thing I don't like is the usb thing that plugs into the side of my laptop because half the time I'm afraid I'll break the thing in half, other then that I've never had any problems with it. It's also fairly cheap. Used trackballs in the Navy on board the submarines, didn't like those very much but I got used to em after awhile. It was just awkward getting used to not moving my hand around to control the pointer. I only used it most of the time when I was doing paperwork on every watch.
