    Chapter 50

Chapter 50. Uirebon felt the eagerness of the gathering to hear what he had to offer and noticed the particular intensity of the quiet companion. "Information about the Realm Stones was relatively easy to find because they are so fundamental, and because many ambitious Court Lords commissioned personalised treatises on their function and properties. We found a surprising amount of variation in the way they have been used through the ages but almost no variation with their physical descri

Yep! Lots of puzzles. Maynor's 'forgetting' will be completely successful. - Ranevargar's in charge. Rhys and Kieran discussed the existing Keryth/Pethron bond so, while he still had the memory, Rhys understood the situation completely. Thanks for your thoughts, M.

Yes, there are things happening that seem to be beyond the collective wisdom of Faerie. - what is this black Opal? Lol! - Wend your wandering way through through the wow factor of Woorawa's works.

    Chapter 49

Thanks for your kind words and for your thoughts about the fires. We've had some smoke haze in my area, and more predicted for the next couple of days, but it's minor compared to the east of the state and minute compared to the Eastern Seaboard where people needed respiratory masks. It was reported today that the smoke had also reached all the way to South America. - astonishing.

    Well said, Your Reverence!

    Chapter 49

You're exactly spot on, Dave. I wonder if Tan's 'truth calling' with the three Realm Rulers might have opened Ranevargar's eyes to the possibility of more cooperative times ahead.

    Chapter 49

Chapter 49. A light privacy ward surrounded the group, somewhat surprising the newly arrived Realm Lords. "Thank you, Lord Ranevargar. The excitement of the journey and that unexpected descent was surpassed by the most unusual honour guard we have ever experienced. And thank you, Kieran, I am eager to know your thoughts on matters of the Realms, and heartened by this opportunity for some time together." A full round of double wrist clasps took place then, with the assurance of a

    Chapter 48

The Realm wide portal system (which needs the High King's assistance and extra Nexus energy to access the Human world) will take at least a year to steadily regrow its basic structure before it can function again. Kieran is learning everything he possibly can about portals in the hope of maybe finding a faster alternative. (One year in the Realms is more than four years at home) You are right. Each of the six Realm Rulers has an associated color. Kieran-blue. Aglaron-purple. Maynor-red. Uirebon-yellow. Ranevargar-green. Narello-orange. The stone for Woorawa is one of the thirteen red rubies, lesser stones which Maynor used for accumulating energy over the years.

    Chapter 47

What an interesting question. My answer was going to be no - but after thinking about it I realised that the culture of Woorawa's people is so ancient it actually predates the Great Seperation when the adepts created the Realms - which does open the possibility. Woorawa's people settling in the new Realm? lol - you've just put this author's mind into overdrive.

    Chapter 48

Hey, Neat! I love your 'onion' imagery of layers of understanding to prepare for. And, yes, Ranevargar is unfailing with his support - but he also seems to be increasingly baffled with events outside his wide range of knowledge. ???

    Chapter 48

Chapter 48. Woorawa's mind boggled. The trip involving the joint effort of a Realm Tree portal for fifty Griffins loaded with life bombs, hosts and warders, a convoy flight to the Boundary, then a crossing and another flight to familiar territory had all been exciting, but the long glittering ribbons of water replacing tracts of barren land made it hard to accept that one storm, massive as it had been, could bring so much change. Now, below, was a small river flowing in the valley where they

Ranevargar is a curious character. His impact on the companions appears to be quite extensive.

    Chapter 17

Tan already received a wound from the brick through the window but this is far more serious. Yes, the red glow, none of KIeran's doing, is rather mysterious.

Interesting - that's for sure. Along with the puzzle of curious abilities they now have the this strange new environment to cope with.

    Chapter 47

Thank you, kind sir, for another aspect to the chapter. I like to think their cameraderie and high jinx are a sign of the deeper bond that is still developing. Yep! Puzzled for sure but falling for it too. Slightly immodest on my part but, I must admit to enjoying the imagery of Maurice's 'mighty chest' quivering with amusement when his Maker was sucked into the group roughhousing.
