You have to sort of feel for Jake; here he is finally getting with the guy he has lusted after for years and then suddenly several people know his secret... This would be the definition of true terror for a 16 y/o in 1980...

Well, he destroys someone so no one will know or believe he was gay; then he tells one guy and gets blown and blows another all in a 24 hour period... Can we say therapy time???

Well, at least Brad is being taught how to give and get pleasure by the best... This can only help him in the long run, few things boost a male ego better than being considered really good at sex... A good offense is always the best defense...

I love how Mark is able to draw real people into his stories, even if they were just minor celebs and make them part of the plotting. French is something that at a certain level of education or society that a lot of people speak, sort of suprised that Brad and Stef just assumed that Doug could not...

So to a certain extent, Brad lost his cherry with women before he lost it with men; that is a suprise after chapter 1... I guess if you wanted to stay in the closet at 17; that is the kind of game you had to play... Have to wonder if the adult Brad ever thinks about what he did as a teen when dealing with his children...

JP rocks... I almost feel there is nothing he would not be able to do. I thought the scene with Brad sneaking in and doing the blood brother scene again was just perfect. It is amazing what love and family can do...

It is so sad that even today those that are unsure or fear something in themselves find it necessary to lash out at others... Stef gave both Armaund and Scott the perfect piece of advice, who would have thought that Stef would turn into the perfect Mrs. Cleaver...

Sometimes a kid just needs to act like a kid and yes, even being 17 makes you a kid... I really like how Stef has stepped up and decided to be more responsible in some way other than business. I think caring for Brad as much as he does has rubbed off on how he views others...

This chapter was a great explanation about something most people don't understand, money... Having money or aquiring more isn't really the point; most people with money will tell you the biggest thing is gives you is freedom.

Greg played that perfect with Brad. No matter how much Stef loves Greg, he loves Brad more and would choose him over any man. Stef is right about Roger, he needs to make sure they are back on an even keel and seeing Stef with Greg will do that...

I think part of Stef's issue is he really isn't sure what he wants. He almost acts as if he doesn't deserve to be happy. I have to wonder how much his past still gets in this way, even though he doesn't seem to have as many issues as some of the guys he picks to be with...

Sometimes it is easier to forgive those that don't mean as much to us as those that we care about the most. It sounds backwards but it is almost always like that. Stef handled the situation with Brad as good as any layman could have done. Not sure there doesn't need to be a little more therapy involved but what he says makes sense.

Tonto and Stef, what a great combination... A little dissapointed in how Stef is reacting to the issue with Roger. For Roger to do what he did you know there is something more involved; Stef needs to take a moment and step back and wonder why???

Someone taking their life is always a horrible thing. Josh was probably afraid to face Stef, Joaquim, Jason, but most of all himself. He probably really was able to convince himself that he was doing the right things as long as the boys did not put up a fight; when confronted that argument proved to be just as hollow as anything else he could have said...

Tonto is the best... She reminds me of so many women I have known in my life that were strong, smart, fearless, and always there for others... The love that they give is the very best because it is unconditional... Roger moving in, WOW, that is something that I just did not see coming...

Paris and Rome with someone you love; could there be any better thing in the world. Brad is so smart and aware already, can't wait to see where he is in a few years...

Being nice to someone can mean anything from just listening to them to helping them with money or something else to make their life easier. It rarely hurts someone to be nice yet so few of us do so... You never know what kind of change you will make in someone's life when you make the decision to help someone else...

Sad to remember how many lives have been ruined or ended because someone could not handle the fact that someone was gay. It amazes me that even after all this time, we still face that problem and worse in some parts of the world...
