  1. The new chapter was excellent... I really enjoyed the interplay between all the main people in this story. I do think that Wade's decision is going to really piss his mother off badly. That being said, I think it is great that he is trying to honor someone that meant so much to him and helped him realize it was okay to be gay. That is one of the great tragedies, the lack of visible role models in the gay community. I mean the ones that the kids in the south or the inner cities can see and relate to in some way. I do undertand Father Tim wanting to check out Wade's uncles past, with a center like this, anything will be a target and you just don't want to give the damn rightwing any ammunition. I really liked the interaction right before JJ went on the ice with Jeanine, Tiffany, Wade, Matt, Will, JJ, and Shane and his mom. I get the feeling that Tiffany was probably Shane's coach for a while. I would like to see Jeanine and Tiffany get back together and to see Jeanine make a recovery from the severe case of postpartum depression. I think that the situation between Brad and Robbie and Will is going to get worse before it gets any better; and yes, I am sure it will get better... I do think that Will is clearly winning the fight on points. The situation with the phone calls were just the latest in a long line of actions by Brad and Robbie that seemed designed to piss Will off and make them look bad. I can accept the fact that you miss a call but not both of them missing multiple calls on two phones. Brad is too anal retentive to have turned his phone off, he always has to be in contact and checking up on the situations going on in his life. I can see Robbie turning his off but checking the messages and missed calls the second he turns it back on. I agree with the comment by someone else that Brad and Robbie can't really clamp down on Will because neither of them are around enough to make it stick. Plus, much like Wade said in the story, they might find a bed full of rattlesnakes. Will is smart enough to understand something if either of them would set down and really talk to him instead of making pronouncements from on high or just talking at him. I think that Brad is still so stubborn that once he digs his heels in, only something really drastic is going to make him change his mind about the sittuation; and Robbie is going to support Brad in the end, even if he isn't sure he is right. I do agree that there is three sides to every argument, each person or couple on opposite sides and then the truth. The reality is that you become blinded to the truth because you become so sure that you are right. Of course, I have never had this problem because I am always right... A side note, it was really good to see Father Tim and Max pop up in the story, they have been missed. I also was glad for even the mention of Claire, she has always been one of my favorites in this story. I realize it is hard to right for her to some extent because I agree that she probably doesn't have the same drama in her life that other do.
  2. Well loved the new chapter of Paternity, not sure it moved the story along much but it was great... I saw like how Wade got Gathan to understand that he needed to talk to Kristen. Then Gathan acted so male and got himself hurt... LOL... Well I am sure it will all work out okay...
  3. Yes, a Granger fix would be wonderful but I am trying to be patient while Paternity plays out...
  4. So love both of these songs, although "My Hero" by the Foo Fighters is a much better song than "Red"... They both fit those moments perfectly...
  5. I cannot disagree with you on this more strongly... I so agree with Vaessavoy. There is a major difference between thinking that your 14 year old had a consenting sexual relationship with an older authority figure, you might not like or approve but you would handle it one way; then being told that your 14 year old son was sexually abused by an authority figure that you put your trust in taking care of said child. I know that Will is sexually active but as some of his choices would suggest, he doesn't always make the best decisions in the heat of the moment. I am suprised that Brad and Robbie haven't had more of a discussion with him, but then again they never seem to be around or discuss anything with him lately... I just think if you were told that an employee that takes care of your children in any capacity was being investigated for sexually abusing another child about the same age; you would be talking to your child and getting him to therapy to make sure either nothing happened or he was okay. You wouldn't just fire the employee or put him on leave or whatever and completely ignore the situation with the child. I just really believe that Brad and Robbie's behavior is totally out of line on how this whole situation was handled. Maybe because I am older and have been responsible for children at different points in my life, but no truly responsible caretaker or parent would have behaved as Brad and Robbie did, no matter what they didn't want to face...
  6. Well, the new chapter of Paternity has so much new drama just fallilng into our laps. Okay, I will admit that I think Brad and Robbie are more responsible for the current situation than Will. I think that Brad is part of the problem; one moment he seems to be treating Will like he is a grown up and the next like he is eight years old. I do agree with previous comments that a few situations in the past have been ready made for some parental involvment but there was none, and now Brad comes in trying to act like super Dad??? I also agree with a previous comment that there is more to the Michael story that we have seen so far. I don't know that it was what an earlier posting suggested but something about him has never rang true, plus why does the most easy going member of the family, meaning Will, have such a bad feeling about him??? On the Kristen front, I have to say listening to her story the thought that came to me was the guy she was with had been put up to it by Zach. I thought at the time that it was strang how Zach was acting before and after Gathan found Kristen with the guy. I do think that Will is bashing Robbie a little to hard, it seems he really only tried to get Robbie's attention that one time. Now, I don't think that Robbie should have blown him off like he did but I have to wonder if that wasn't more on Brad's orders/suggestion than how he really felt. Plus, it seems to me from past stories that Robbie often takes Brad off on his birthday and no one has ever really made an issue out of it before. I know that Will is feeling a little threatened by what is happening but seems to be going after Robbie as just another way to hit at his dad.
  7. Well, my point about Jeanine wasn't so much that she was Will main support parent but that she was home with the kids basically all the time. She knew what their schedules were, she knew if a crisis was looming, she was the parent in the house. I do agree that Will probably didn't confide or run to Jeanine but if something was going on in his life, she probably at least was at least somewhat aware of it. With Jeanine at home and functioning, Brad and Robbie had more leeway to do outside work and activities without having to worry about someone being home with the kids to check in and be aware of situations. I am not going to get into a rehash of the situation with Brad basically letting Will get away with going around Jeanine when it suited him. That was an argument for a previous story. I just think that the one parent that was almost always home isn't there anymore and it is bound to have reprecussions that are sort of floating just under the surface.
  8. Just loved the latest chapter of Paternity, it was just enthralling... I really like how Will is willing to stand by Pat and do what is right because he believes in him. I do realize that Brad was trying to protect Will in some way, but he really went about it in all the wrong ways. I do sort of wonder who the person that Pat is involved with is, I have a feeling it is someone that we all already know... I agree that right now Will and Brad need someone that can bridge the gap between them. Wade and Darius are probably the only two that are really capable of that at the moment; Robbie might have been able to at the start but now Will sees him as being in the wrong as well. I do think that Robbie probably understands the situation better now and he may be able to explain Will's side a little on his and Brad's getaway; but I think Brad is just as stubborn as Will is and I don't see this standoff ending soon. Few fourteen year olds are truly able to manage their own lifes in a responsible manner; that being said, Will maybe able to come closer than most. I don't think that Brad and Robbie are really horrible parents, I have relatives that are so I do know what they look like. I just don't think that Brad and Robbie really understood how much Jeanine did when she was fully functioning and integrated into the family. Neither of them have really stepped up to take over all the functions that she dealt with on a daily and ongoing basis. Being a favorite Uncle, or so the little brats tell me, I do understand that sometimes the parents can't be the final answer to a problem; but they should at least be around enough to try and help find the solution...
  9. This was a great chapter of Paternity. I loved how Will called Brad and Robbie on their behaviour. It seems to me that the so called adults are going to have to decide what is really important in their life. It also seems that the way they are handling the situation with Pat just is designed to protect them and not help Pat or keep Will on an even keel. If Pat did molest the child then they would of course remove him, but the idea of distancing him before there is any proof just seems a little out of place with this family and the lengths they have always gone to stand by those in their orbit. I did think that the conversation with Will and JJ was very telling. It really appears that in the end they will support each other more than most outsiders or even the family may realize. I was really glad to to see Stef, I have really missed him and JP. I just always like it when they are involved in the storylines. JP for me has been and always will be the center of the CAP series. I can't wait to see how Will goes about helping Pat out, because I can bet you that he will do so no matter what...
  10. I really feel as if a funeral dirge should be playing and the rain should be pouring as I read this last chapter in the St. Vincent story of the magnificent Bridgemont series. I feel as if I have lost a old friend that is passing from my life. I do know that Granger will be back, but the sorrow of this intermission is worse than most. I thought that the end when George and Caroline started in the garden and then finally ended up in the bedroom was just wonderfully written. It played out in such a synergistic manner and each syllable just seemed to lead perfectly to the next. Caroline, I think, for the first time really understood how much damage she had done. It is obvious that she truly loves George but just made a truly bad choice either out of loneliness and emptiness with George being gone so much or by Silly Billy turning her head with his royal connection. I do think that she will recover her position especially since it appears that she and George will come back stronger than ever. In the end the King and the Prince of Wales will probably both help her because she is giving birth to a child of royal blood plus; George has agreed to raise it as if it was his own. This will in the end probably give her more influence not less. She will have to be more discreet if there is to be any other men in her life after this. I don't think that George would be disagreeable to this if it was conducted with more discreetion. I really like how George and his father were able to repair so much of their relationship toward the end of this story. The Earl has always been the family member that George saw as his rock. I do think that the Earl has learned to appreciate his youngest son even more than he already did. It is easy to blind oneself to the truth in reaching for a goal but the best people learn to look at themselves and in the end they do the right thing. I really do think that even with the doctor maybe fixing Freddie's condition, that he and Daviina have played out their positions in this story. A freak storm while they are at sea or a hurricane once they reach the island would take care of so much. Freddie might make a comeback but not with Davina as the stone around his neck. I still think she at least has to go; no matter what no one would ever feel safe after what she did to George, no matter what her reason was. Winkler will be sorely missed if he and Jeffers decide to remain on land, Jeffers as well of course. This being said, I don't think I would forsee any type of physical relationship between Phillips and Granger if he were to take Winklers place. That type of relationship never existed between Winkler and Granger and just would cause way to many issues. A manservant in that time and place would act as more of a bulwark against anyone that caused Granger problems. He would guard Granger's secret not make an attempt to become part of it. Now that part that will play the biggest issues in the next story, Bertie and Chartle; what is their relationship and how will it effect Granger. We already know that Charley feels more for Bertie than Bertie did for Chartley, one night of passion meant a lot more to Chartley than it did to Bertie. I think Bertie is the kind of man that might sleep with another man for political gain, or to relieve the boredom of the evening but he will not ever form a relationship with another man. Chartley may still have feelings for Bertie but I really do believe that he cares deeply for Granger. That being said, there is obviously still some tie to Bertie that is hidden for the moment. A good guess would be money. We know from the story that Bertie has made a huge fortune in the Far East and Chartley made a fortune as well, but we really don't know how much. Is a good part of it still tied up with Bertie trying to increase it, this would make his position back home more stable and give a plausible reason for why he would feel the need to rush to warn Bertie. Something else to worry about would be Chartley traveling in a sloop. A ship that small would be in danger from both the weather and those that England are at war with right now. It seems to me that if Granger is being delayed to avoid the storms then Chartley is about to sail straight into them. i really hope we don't lose Chartley so soon. How will Bertie and Chartley play into the idea of a " mutiny " or are they even the ones that play into that? Take a while and enjoy the feeling of finishing this great chapter Mark, we just expect the first one for the new story by the end of the week... LOL...
  11. I think that Wade is just a tiny bit more emotionally mature than most of the others in his age bracket. He is the kind of man that might enjoy sex but thanks that making love is better and for him to do that; there has to be a connection that is more than just lust. I agree that we just don't know enough about Josh to know what his story is yet; maybe he has never been with a man, a woman a few times but it wasn't what he really wanted. He maybe looking to find out if it is men or women that he really desires, or both??? I will bet that Wade's trust is the same size as his brother and sister. He just got access to it first because of the situation with Riley. Elizabeth just continues to control the trust of the other two through the master trust. I sort of hope that we are going to be getting back to Sean soon, I really want to see what happens when Wade, Matt, and Sean all get together at one time. I think that maybe a very interesting dynamic.
  12. Well, I thought that Wade handled the situation with his Mother and Father perfectly. By forcing Elizabeth to admit in front of the Senator what was going on, it gave Wade so much more of an advantage. I would guess that the extra money for the parcel of land will be coming out of Elizabeth's sizeable fortune, at least if she wants to keep all the investors/contributors happy. I do have to say that I am on the periphery of some of the machinations that seem to go on in Wade's family with some of my extended family. Probably about one less zero is generally involved in my extended family but still a lot of money; and you would be suprised or maybe not, how often stuff like what Elizabeth pulled really goes on. There is something about that level of wealth and power that just seems to corrupt even the closest family relationships. I do keep waiting for one of my distant relatives to keel over and find out they left me some of that money, but it just hasn't happened yet... LOL... I do like the direction of Wade and Matt's relationship. They seem to be in such a more even and balanced place right now, so much more then any time in the past. I could really see them bringing in a third member into the relationship on a much more serious level and it really working out. I was also really glad to see John Carullo, not that I think he would be the one they brought in, but I always really liked his involvement with the story in the past. I think we all need to take a moment and really realize and appreciate how blessed we are to have such a wonderful author as Mark turning out such high level stories for us all to enjoy. I know we all occasionally say Thanks but I am not sure we all really appreciate what we have. So many of the stories online are just drivel or they start and just stop and never reach an end. I just want to say Thank You to Mark for being so consistently wonderful in his storytelling.
  13. This chapter was simply sublime.... I cannot say enough about the story developement and how easy it is to slip into these lives lived so long ago. The ease in which we can become lost in this story is truly a mark of what a great writer Mark is and how he continues to grow in talent and skill. I thought how Granger handled the interview with both the King and the Prince of Wales was masterfully done. Some of this could be credited to his birth and upbringing but some of it is just his innate level of ease not just with himself but all those he comes in contact with. Granger approached both in just the right way and with the perfect blend of respect and submission. I thought that both meetings with the Earl was well played as well. Granger has to realize that on a trip like this he might not be coming back and that the Earl would need to know the full story. It is easy to see why the Earl favors his younger son so much, recent events not withstanding. You just know that the Earl will do whatever he can to protect and secure George's birthright. I have to say that Spencer was much more forgiving of having demands made on him then he had to be. I agree that Spencer probably isn't happy about being forced to send Granger off and gave in some to take the sting out of the length of time he will be gone. I would have to wonder if the fathers of some of Granger's more noble officers would really want to see their progeny sent off for this length of time. I guess, we will have to wait and see. I would think that Caroline would be quite ready to accept the King's suggestion, so to speak. This would give her a reason to stay away from Silly Billy some, if that is what she really wants, and I think it is. Caroline had to realize that something like this was going to come with a certain set of consequences. Plus, banishment from London during the summer would hardly be the most terrible thing to happen; staying in the country would probably be better for both her and the baby. I hope that Lord Chartley is able to help Granger take his mind off the upcoming trip somewhat. I do hope that the time they will spend apart will just make the heart grow fonder between Granger and Chartley. The new ship seems like a dream come true. Granger is going to get to keep most of his old crew and officers with one or two added ones to make Spencer happy; this is making it really hard to see where a " mutiny " is going to arise with this set of circumstances in place. Maybe Bertie will mutiny when he is ordered back to London but still doen't see how that would play into how we would understand the term as used in that time. While I eagerly await the last chapter of this story; I am already having ideas of what comes next running through my mind. Keep up the great work Mark, you are truly an exceptional storyteller....
  14. Great new chapter, Wade is finally putting all the pieces together. I just can't believe how devious Elizabeth Danfield is, the line about the Emperor and Darth Vader teaming up was priceless and so true. Matt just gets way to upset and doesn't always see the big picture, it is a good thing that he has Wade around to watch his back. I do think that Matt really does understand how bad he messed up with Carl though. I am a little hesitant to really get into the new guy; considering that the last new person added really was Carl and we all know how well that worked out. I really would like to see Tiffany get more of a life but I do want her and Jeanine to end up back together. I don't know why but I think they really made a good couple; they just need to stop sleeping with other people... LOL... P.S. I really can't wait for that date with Sean and Wade and Matt, I just have the most interesting pictures in my mind....
  15. Well, I really enjoyed the latest chapter. I am going to assume that the Nash we met was the one that became one of the most important architect of the Regency period. It would have been quite a lucky break for Granger to have arranged something like this, if this is the same man. John Nash did have a a wonderful house on the Isle of Wright called East Cowes Castle. The only fly in the ointment so to speak was that Nash was a very close friend of Charles James Fox, one of Granger's archnemesis. I loved how Granger handled that officious toad from the Navy board and the poor Lt that was trying to get his men for the press. I am quite sure that all of the men took Granger up on his offer. I was so glad to see Holmquist accompany Granger and our young Welshman home. I do agree that the scene in the baths was quite delicious. I have to admit I have never seen any writer that used baths to such an advantage as our Mr Arbour... Quite a interesting talent for picking an unsual focus to hit on, it is grand. I am a little suprised that more of Freddie and Davina's issues were not aired in this chapter but perhaps in the two that are left. I have to admit there seems to be a lot to clear up in only two chapters. Well, if anyone can do it; it is our Mr Arbour...
  16. I just have to say that you scored it just perfectly with the Survivor Theme Song, I remember that passage from the first season...
  17. Well, was re-reading the last few chapters and just had a horrible thought... What if Davina was in cahoots with Silly Billy? Even if they didn't know all the details of why, they might very well know that each of the other was after George and decide to team up...
  18. I actually really thought about Chicago. The only reason I didn't try and make a case for it was none of Wade's schools were there but in early 2000's both Northwestern and University of Chicago were both top ten law schools while Northwestern and Chicago were one and two for business schools. Matt would be closer to his family, Wade would at least be in the Eastern half of the country but far enough away not to be dealing with his family on regular basis. There are some bad memories of Chicago from earlier stories but maybe Wade and Matt could erase the bad Karma and leave the area bathed in sunshine and light... LOL... Well, I can honestly say some of the best times in the early stories took place there but for me that will always be the place where we started to lose Jeff to drugs. "quitely sobs in the corner for a moment..." On the New York issue, I love to visit New York but don't think I would really ever want to live there. That being said, I can see why those that love it do so. New York has a certain energy that you just really don't find anywhere else in the United States. JJ has never been much of a beach person as far as I can tell, he never really surfed, swam, boogie boarded, etc... New York is a great place to reinvent yourself and come out of the shadows. JJ has two brothers that love him very much and I believe he loves as much, but they have to some extent always over-shadowed him. Even with his being at the level of skating that he has reached so far, the family still seems to view it more as a hobby then something serious, exceptions for Claire, Will, Jeanine, and Tiffany. If something happened and he did not make the top level or something happened and he had to stop competing, like an injury, I could really see JJ moving to New York after high school and really finding himself. New York is a great place for artist and dreamers and JJ has always had a touch of both...
  19. I'm not sure that Matt is the Wall Street type. I spent quite a bit of time in New York in the late 90's and early 00's and most of the brokers, traders, etc. that I knew were total assholes. I admit that I didn't really know the top level but more the guys in the middle level that were fighting to make it to the top, Matt could damn near start at the lower end of the top of the ladder... I know that Matt can be self-centered at times, but not to the level of the guys on Wall Street during that era, and don't even get me started on the women. As Stef and Brad have proven, you don't have to be based or even really work in New York to reach the top of the field in finance. If Wade choose Berkeley, then Matt could go through the Business program there, in the early 00's it was ten to thirteen depending on which list you go by. I also don't think that Wade is really looking to ever be part of the Washington DC political scene, at least not in the near future. He may have helped his dad in his current election, but afterall, he fled the area to the west coast to get away from his family. No matter what, if he went back to the area, he would be involved with them, more than I think he wants to be. Wade does like politics and going through law school is a good way to make the pre-requisite contacts you may need later, although with Wade's background that reallly isn't probably necessary. It would seem to me that Wade's more moderate Republicanism would work better on the California political scene than anywhere in Virginia or that area with the much more rabid conservatives to appease and kiss up to. Another consideration for Wade is Tiffany and the Riley, I don't think that Tiffany is going to be really happy moving east. Plus, I really could see her ending back up with Jeanine, keeping my fingers crossed. If that happens, then I really can't see Wade going back east for any period of time and being that far away from his son. Back to the issue of Elizabeth seeming to be screwing with Wade on the matter of the Master Trust, if she is doing so. I don't think she would have been able to borrow much money against a Master trust like someone suggested. Plus, why would she have needed to do so, she has just as much or more money as the trust, at least that would be my presumption. With a Master trust that feeds into other trust or that have multiple beneficiaries; not even the designated trustee can borrow money against a trust like this. If the banks allowed it, then they would be liable even more than the trustee that broke their fiduciary responsibilities. If it is the type of trust that Wade now has, money can be borrowed against it but a Master trust is a different type of animal. Now, using one trust to pay more of the banking fees or other fees, probably could be done but there would be issues of liability with that as well, as Elizabeth and the bank may soon learn.
  20. I think it is assuming a lot that they all know what happened. Even in her deranged state of mind, I can't imagine Davina doing what what done with much of an audience. Alfred knew, but of course he is dead, but how many of the others really knew for sure? I mean the odds are that at least two took him to the basement but there really isn't anything in the previous chapter to indicate that anyone but Alfred was there when the deed was done. The young man that went after the marines came in after everything was completed, although he was nude I believe so he might have been watching to know what happened. I doubt that Alfred would have said much, after all; he had attacked an officer of the King and a man with the bluest blood. Not sure that he was dumb enough to spread that about, although he was dumb enough to get invovled with Davina. And did anyone else notice how distraught she got over the death of footman? And even if one of the others or more knew, it isn't like today with the internet, how many people could that person tell that really mattered? And would anyone that they told really believe them, after all; Granger is a married man, with several children, and damn near a national hero... I do think that Chartley will let Granger make the final decision on how far to push this. I do think the Earl will at least have to be made aware of the basic facts, maybe not all the details... In addition, I don't think that Davina's father the Duke would be in much postion to do anything to save her. Davina's behaviour would have put her so out of bounds in that era and time that neither her families position or wealth could save her, as a matter of fact the family itself would be significantly embaressed and even damaged by her actions....
  21. I just don't understand Elizabeth Danfield, she knows her son has found out what she was doing and has the information that could cause her major problems with the SEC and others; on top of this Brad has enough information to cause all kinds of additional issues as well, then there is the issue of the Senator abusing Wade... I realize that Elizabeth has some educated guess work on Brad but does she really want to go after someone that had everything done that he did and got away with it so easily??? It just doesn't make sense to me that she would go this out of the way in dealing with the trust and the land to really piss Wade off. The sister might be a total bitch but she wouldn't have the pull with the master trust to engineer any of this, she might be helping Monster Dearest by screwing someone and trying to hurt Wade but she wouldn't yet have the pull with the bankers and others to effect the trust yet because of her age. There has to be more to this land deal and the Haupts than we are seeing so far. I have done some research but can't find anything in the early 2000's in that area that involved any significant issues with land deals so not sure where this is going. I do agree that Wade is the kind of person that would already be planning his graduate work, I am sort of suprised that he wouldn't look at Stanford law school. The rankings for law schools that year had Yale on top, Stanford is second, Harvard is third, Columbia was fourth, and Cal-Berkeley was seventh. Virginia was at thirteen and Georgetown was fourteen. I just can't see Wade going to a second tier school like Virginia or Georgetown with what I would assume his grades and extra's would be. Plus, didn't the older lawyer just warn him about staying out of Virginia for the forceable future in business; would law school be much diffrent??? And yes, I do know that Georgetown is in DC but that is just too close to Virginia and in the center of Elizabeth Danfield's powerbase. I guess I am probably going to be one of the few that is going to take this stand, but I do sort of hope that Tiffany and Jeanine to end up back together. I don't know why, but I do think they worked well together until the whole let's get pregnate issue came up and then Jeanine made the decision to play with fire but I do wonder how much it upset her knowing that Tiffany was going to be sleeping with Wade and Matt, who are so much closer to her age than Jeanine... The fear of aging and growing older does some strange things to people. Great chapter Mark....
  22. Well, I am sure that Dr. Jackson will fix Freddie but I still think Davina needs to be eliminated and Freddie can try again with a better woman. I am sure that a slip and fall from the ship heading to Bermuda can be arranged. I do agree that at the very least the Earl will have to be given an overview of what has occured, and at least a general view of the why. I know that this will cause Freddie some discomfort but he will just have to get over it... I also agree that George will never make this a public issue, even if he was not at fault, there would be serious repercussions involved even for him. Great chapter and storyline Mark, I have to say that I never in a million years saw this coming... It was just really well written and thought out, kudos to you...
  23. Hell, I have enough land and they have just never been able to find any bodies to ever pin anything on me.... I will get rid of her if no one else can...
  24. That Evil Bitch... It is obvious that she is hoping to get pregnate with George's child and claim it is Freddie's, they have to look somewhat like each other. I really think that there is no choice but to have her killed, neither George, Caroline, or non of their children will ever be safe while that woman is alive. I don't care whose daughter she is, she has to be killed for the safety of everyone else involved.
  25. I don't know how I knew it but I swear I knew halfway through this chapter that Bertie was going to be one of the people that Lord Chartley had slept with, it was just such a strong feeling. I can really see this about Bertie, he is the kind of man that loves sex and would clearly prefer women but if one isn't there and he needs to get off, well any old hole will do... LOL... I just knew that the old abbey was going to end up with seamen in it. This will let Granger retain as many of the men as he probably wants to until he can get another ship. It will give Jeffers something to do besides Winkler, but Winkler clearly doesn't like the abbey and will have to stay by Granger's side but still they aren't going to be seperated for long. I really do feel that Chartley and Granger maybe destined to be the ones that end up together. I do think that Granger will work the situation out with Caroline and with the Earl's help and intervention with the King will give Silly Billy what he has coming to him. I think that when all the smoke clears Granger will be in just as strong or stronger position then where he was when he arrived in England. I know that since Chartley is in the army and Granger the navy they will have to endure some seperations, unless maybe Granger is ferrying Chartley somewhere; but even then I think these two can deal with the seperations and still stay strong and true to each other. This was truly a great chapter and Mark, congragulations on yet another win, Granger is truly a unigue and intriguing creation.
