  1. :music: HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KITTY CAT! :music:
  2. Hehe, I wanted one as a kid but my mum refused to get me it! You have no idea how many times she's told that story to my friends, boyfriends etc. So yes I would, a doll or action figure helps develop a childs mind, so no issue here.
  3. Matt Goss, lead singer of Bros in the late 80's. Think I was 8 or something! lol He was cute though.
  4. Happy Birthday.
  5. Happy Birthday babe. Have a good un!
  6. OMG, you're all so WEIRD. I've had the urge to sniff a few things in my time, but never have I had the compulsion to sniff a book. Saying that, I like the smell of petrol... and sweaty men, though not at the same time.
  7. Like a lot of people my dreams changed from one stage of my development to another. But it always kept coming back to being a policeman or fireman! Not sure why, maybe I just liked the uniforms. Anyway, it never happened, ended up working in IT, not exactly in any of the dreams I had when growing up.
  8. Radiation poisoning!
  9. I can honestly say I have none. I’ve made plenty of shitty decisions in my time, both personal and professional, but I’ll dig out the ole cliché and say that your past makes you the person you are now. We all make mistakes; we are only human after all. The trick is leaning from them and keeping that lesson for future reference. .
  10. I grew up in a main city and lived there for 25 years, but moved into a little village just out outside of Winchester. I grew sick and tired of the grind, so when a friend offered me his place at a good rate (he works abroad a lot) I grabbed it. The silence took a LOT of getting used to trust me, but I wouldn’t change it for the world.
  11. Oh please. Yeah, she makes great music, only the tone deaf would argue otherwise. But to insinuate that she’s inspirational, that is bordering delusional! A lot of people would say she’s eccentric, to the majority she’s totally insane.
  12. I have nimble fingers.... and plenty of practice using them!
  13. Well... she does have a pulse!
  14. Happy Birthday, Comsie!
  15. 91 WPM with no mistakes.
  16. Oh agreed, but for that I use my 'fancy' cursive. You know, the one people can actually decipher! I only use that one for special occasions though because it takes twice as long as my normal scribble.
  17. Technically a commoner, IE the Prime Minister and cabinet, already does! As for the monarch, her role holds no real power, which always lies, as it should, with the elected government of the time. All the pomp and ceremony is just tradition. Kate is the first commoner married to the heir for some time. It remains to be seen if this is carried on for future generations.
  18. Anyone been the scenario where a straight guy thought you were attracted to them, got all uppity because of it, then gets offended when you point out that they're so not your type and wants to know why! lol Can't win with some people.
  19. Oh I'm well aware of that, but on this occasion I believe the wedding has more or less paid for itself with the added media coverage and tourists it's attracted to London. On the larger issue of keeping them in the style they've become accustomed to... and we pay for, well, don't even get me started.
  20. I hate to point out the obvious, but this a site dedicated to gay fiction, as it clearly states on the main header! I'm totally baffled that you'd come on here expecting anything else.
  21. There is no choice, anyone that says there is needs an arse kicking!
  22. Both. For sheer speed I will always use cursive... if I need someone to actually understand what I've written then print!
  23. As much as the monarchy has modernised in recent years, I don't think they're at that stage just yet. lol. I will also point out that the monarch is also head of the Church of England, which is why no catholic, by law, can ascend to the British throne.
  24. As a hardened English anti monarchist/Republican I thought I’d hate it. But, much to my surprise I actually found myself tuning in and actually quite enjoying the wedding. In the current climate of financial hardship, wars, and all the death and destruction going on in the world in was nice to turn on the TV and get some respite from all the depressing news of late. For one day we can put everything else on the back burner and maybe break into a small smile at the news for just once this year. Don’t get me wrong my views on the monarchy haven’t changed one iota, but even I begrudgingly admit that this event has put a smile on the nations face and the record breaking 2 billion + television audience around the world.
