Charlie and Toby got past the regrets part and both are into trying new things. While I had some worries that Charlie was taking advantage of a naive blind kid, that worry was assuaged when Toby started eating out Charlie's ass. Toby and Charlie have much more to explore and Charlie does seem to explain the visual world in ways Toby appreciates.

A story with a moral without being preachy. Life is not fair and thoughtless actions can make it less so. Serendipity brought together two mourners who managed to connect and they managed to provide some closure for each other. Parker has crafted a thought provoking gem.

The trip proved less than fulfilling, but he made it even if dear old dad was gone because he developed dementia: Something none of us look forward to. The dream sequence was well told. Thanks for sharing.

What you're describing is a psychopath. Interestingly, since the 1980's neither term is a recognized clinical diagnosis, like they were when I got my degree in psychology more than fifty years ago.

Another story by Myr that begs for further expansion. Set in the world of psionics, young adults and a university setting it sets the stage for an in depth look at the two leading characters as well as the disappearance of Mark's uncle Paul. Perhaps this anthology piece will picque our busy host's muse to provide more.

Being only a partially trained empath in a mundane world filled with drama is to be on the road to insanity and suicide. Except for sociopaths, almost everyone has some empathy. Allan's ability to discern the ability in others and to remain grounded, is his special gift. Mark's leap of faith was a step forward toward training and life. I too would like to see the story developed further.

That turned out better than I expected! I am relieved our beloved author didn't throw them another obstacle into their recovering. Instead it looks like they are headed to Montana! But wait, they really do need to properly bond first!

The best chapter yet! Asa and Caleb should be comatose for at least 72 hours, maybe longer for Asa? Wednesday hopefully brings no setbacks!

Curtis Buck's bona fides as a bad guy are confirmed once again. I suspect he has plans for personal revenge, and hopefully Jake's security can prevent that. The big reveal regarding Travis' bio dad is set for the party and with the long build-up, may end up becoming anticlimactic: Or spur Curtis to do something stupid. Zach being used to spread misinformation was considered and rejected, I hope Will got it right. P.S. Travis the stud and Will the insatiable power bottom are hot, hot, HOT!

Evidently not just a milk run, and a cliffie to boot. So I'm guessing the emergency jump inside the planet's gravity well worked and they survived and the rest of the trip went off without any problems.

Asa projects confidence but admits the task will not be easy and there could be negative complications and needs a sunny day and the help of Giles and Santos. Caleb is poisoned and fears the worst. Kbois never does anything easy, so I expect more than a little bump in the road.

The poison has been active for some time and was undetectable except for Asa's abilities as a light shifter. Whether it can be treated and neutralized is another question that I'm sure our dear author will torture us with ad nauseum. Asa's abilities could be useful for much more than as a farrier. He certainly has gotten Caleb's attention and the once proud alpha was made to listen...

Sad news indeed. As George noted, for Calvert to give up command because of his injury does not bode well. On a brighter note, St. Vincent has come around and apologized. Caroline is becoming an annoying problem for which George has already decided what he will pay to be done with her. More please!

Travis's trust fund would have been enough for Curtis Buck to stave off the buy-out. Knowing that and having failed to get his hands on it and having lost his company and most if not all of his fortune, revenge could be high on his to do list. Travis would be wise to keep a low profile for quite a while and keep his security forces in place. Will is going to Harvard. I doubt he lasts more than a year. I don't see any early resolution of their fate. Caleb is a long way from forgiving himself. Asa is not one to push. Our author enjoys drama, and I expect she has plenty in store for us.

I'm still turning the lights down low to see the detail. The last episode with Moraine being forced by the Amrlyn Seat and then Lianfal coming in was powerful. Lan has certainly turned out to be deeper than first present....

Asa and Caleb, two lonely guys, neither in a good place. Is Caleb worthy of redemption? Gile's pack seems open minded. Caleb will have to learn to forgive himself which is the hardest thing. We can be all judgmental, but who can say they wouldn't have made the same bargain based on the threat made....I also expect it was a slippery slope.
