I agree with the reviews that have posted before mine though I don't think I could put either the CAP series or this one, ahead of the other in the enjoyment they've delivered to me...thank you Mark and Team Arbour! It is sad but George is so alone whether In his mind or in reality. I too hope that our author provides some longer-term relief for George, and that he finds the stability in that relationship for many years.

A great chapter all around… I don't know what to be most happy about: Matt's continuing displays of greater emotional maturity Wades deepening recommitment to Matt The apparent approval by everyone closely entwined of the Brad/Cam relationship JJ's temporary non-diva behaviour - Brit spelling for Alex. :-) Lastly Mark - you had better not give us any level of emotional trauma by involving Will in any kind of car accident! Don't take this as license either for other diabolical story lines in the foreseeable future!

It was nice to get Zack's perspective on where he is right now so it is hard to tell how far he will take football, especially given that he has thought about coming out. I loved the interaction between Cam and Brad and think they have the possibility to make a go of this. But I question is how it will make him feel if Brad tries to "take care of him" and pay his way through school so he doesn't have to work? Will he feel like a kept man? I think that could be very bad for the relationship if they don't find some way to work through the potential financial consideration/issues… Boston should be very interesting – LOL! Let us hope that Brad has read the situation correctly...

Mark never ceases to amaze… Brad and the Cam??? Could, no scratch that, likely to be amazingly hot! Let us hope for the two of them that something deep can outlast the instant hot connection that seems to exist... I do not think that it is possible for any of the "younger generation" as we have come to know them, to have any kind of house or condo built without having a room with a sling at the very least! As usual, can't wait for the next installment – thank you Mark and team!

It certainly is good to see Matt and Wade off to a good restart in Paris, and having had that helpful meeting with Alex, it looks like smooth sailing – at least for a couple of weeks. LOL As for JJ, we finally get to see the first positive confirmation of some aspect of his sexuality… It will be very interesting to see how his infatuation with Alex plays out.

An interesting opening act for the latest story line in the CAP series. It was interesting information how the Hayes family relates to each other. I am happy that Zack has somebody else that he can trust and I hope that Brent can be an additional anchor point for him as I'm certain he is going to need it.

Chapter 45: Final Chapter
KevinD commented on Mark Arbour's story chapter in Chapter 45: Final Chapter
OUTSTANDING - I don't think that I could've fantasized a better chapter end for this story arc! Thank you Mark and Team Arbour for this amazing segment of the best ongoing story here on GA - and presumably anywhere else! -
Well, another bolt out of the blue… I think Matt's decision is a good one, I guess we shall see? I really feel sorry for Cam and wonder how he will react to Matt's sudden change of mind? If only we didn't have to wait three or four more days for the next installment.

Finally a comeuppance for Lady Elgin. It really is too bad that she did not get a bath that she was going over the side of the ship! As we have come to expect, continuing great work from Mark and team Arbour!

I was so proud of Will and how he reacted during his whole exchanged with Zack. All that will needed was a little bit more time as seasoning. The big question now is what will Zach do, and for how long? The whole Wade, Matt, and Alex thing will work its way through to a resolution by itself. I can't see Wade not being able to recognize the truth of what Matt told him and we already know that he is unhappy with his physical relationship with Alex. The clock is ticking… True it may take a semester or quarter, whatever system the college is on before the formal end of Wade and Alex. I think Wade has too much class to simply chop off Alex at the knees and toss him out of the Boston house. The question is this – will Alex and his oh so good British manners, allow him to realize that there is not going to be a long-term relationship and leave before Wade makes it clear through his behavior that there is no future for them in the current behavior mode? I do not see Alex changing the way he is – that would be way beneath him - in his own mind… It was truly good of Brad to have that discussion with Matt and tell him that he's going to fly him to Chicago as that was one of the perks of the being his son... Thank you Mark and team Arbour!

No tally & Clara...I bet it is Robbie's Mom and the evil Reverend. I bet they somehow convinced they've good the goods on Zach and are blackmailing him into this or else out him by revealing whatever they have. Maybe now would be the time for Brad & JP to work they mysterious ways?
-
Thank you Benji for the link to silly goat tricks...! Without violating CJ's privacy, can anyone tell us what CJ is up to? Is he just taking a well deserved rest? Hope all is well...the continued absence with no news is beginning to be a bit concerning. :-( Thanks, Kevin

A most excellent chapter as we have come to expect from Mark & Team Arbour! I certainly hope George can politely do something despicable to put Lady Elgin and in her place...
-
As usual an outstanding chapter, very happy with all the content but was really surprised by the Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde act pulled by Alex. It will be interesting to see how this aspect of the story plays out…

Meant to say "Danfield" not Danforth... Hah - I knew there would be another Danforth out of this! We can only hope that there will be a better JJ out of this now that his scheming has been derailed... And lastly, even though it was the first part of the chapter, just delighted to hear that Matt is negative! Looking forward to the weekend installment…

An outstanding chapter all around... I hope Lady Elgin continues to be inconvenienced - perhaps George can find devilish ways to do this!
-
Well I am glad that Wade saw all of the challenges that I had mentioned in review several chapters ago. Just love the ongoing verbal sparring between Will and Brad… and lastly the return of Scott Slater tomBrad's bed. I don't think this will really go beyond old friends that have a deep history and benefits have been restored... thank you Mark! BTW - Make sure Jack tells finds that Matt had a false positive. You can treat this as my early Christmas wish/letter, Santa Mark...LOL!
-
Thank you Mark for sharing Wade and his thoughts of this whole sad process… On the other hand you're such a tease - taking us back to bed w/Matt and Wade joining him in a huge show of caring support but going no further in this chapter... <
-
I get the sense that Buddy will soon turn into someone… Let's hope that is where this story is going!
-
Well, I think that if there was any doubt it is official – Will is officially a major shit disturber...LOL! As usual – seems way too short, even though I know we had an extra helping over the fourth. What can I say? Thank you Mark!
-
Thank you Mark for the 4th of July present! I agree that it was a great chapter and really loved that Cam and Matt came to an understanding, and can be special friends with great benefits... And though some have carped about Will's under-aged escapades with adults, I'm happy that he got some action from Devon. ;-p

An outstanding resolution to the problem, at least as far as this chapter took us. I especially like the closing chapters where George took control of his household and then let Caroline know of his knowledge...presumably we will have George make it clear to Caroline that she has no leverage he will allow, over Cavendish. Any attempt to exercise such leverage would surely spell the definite end to any chance of reconciliation when next George returns home... Bravo Mark and Team Arbour!

Wow! The Cody and Kevin issue came totally from the blue – I hadn't even thought of the possibility of AIDS… I guess it shows how complacent we can be and then the rude awakening comes. I think Kitt is right to raise the specter of Jeanine's parents getting back into Maddie's life, but first they have to find out... if there is a silver lining to this black cloud it is that the scare will probably ensure that Matt stays as safe as he can be in Chicago as he begins this new phase of life with Wade far removed from the picture. Thank you Mark…Have a wonderful Fourth of July!

Well that was really tough to read. I guess that the long view will have to be taken here and by that I mean that Alex will go back to England to carry-on his familial duties. Will Wade go back to England with Alex? Or are his ties to America such that he will not to live full-time in England, providing the opportunity for their relationship to wind down? Will the new Matt go back to Chicago and pick up his relationship with Cam? As hot as that would be I think that it would be too hard on Cam knowing that Matt still has bad for Wade and he would likely then just be a placeholder. The new Matt will know this and I believe not allow anything but "close friends with benefits" to develop between himself and Cam... One down, one to go… How long will it be before Will and Zack have the ultimate break up?
