I certainly can say that the JP and Matt discussion was everything that I expected. The scene at the dinner table between Will & Matt was anticlimactic which was needed to preserve some semblance of family... Brad's tirade at Frank caught me by surprise but I was more stunned by Frank's reaction. It would seem to me that while Frank may have been paralyzed by the events of 9/11, he clearly had been aware enough of Matt's behaviors to catalogue them at the table – the question I have is why in the world did Frank wait so long? Perhaps he was waiting for Robbie to step in to counsel his son? I hope that the next couple of chapters will shed some more light on this… thank you Mark!

Not fair not fair not fair… Rolling on the floor kicking and screaming! We get to "listen in" on the Will and Wade conversation but have to wait a few more days for JP & Matt to have theirs...I think it would've been much more kind of our author to allow both conversations to have taken place and then cut us off there - heavy sigh! The JP and Matt conversation is sure to be fraught with visible emotion, at least on one side and we know where that will be! I really didn't expect to have this story twist take place so soon although I have to admit I'm not sure what I really expected to happen next. Nothing like a little bit of an anticipation build up as we go into the weekend... Thanks for another great chapter Mark!

It was very nice to be able to read and feel Brad's thoughts as he worked his way through this stage of his personal grief and loss. I also found it very interesting to see how he viewed the relationship between Zach and Will as well as how it operates. Nice too that we got to see that he has pretty much came to appreciate Zach where before, he probably didn't really think much about him other than as a risk to Will. An added bonus was Brad's view on Wally and Clara and the whole dynamic… There is so much that this story has to offer and so many different paths that these characters can take. Given Zach's football goals I'm not sure how much will really happen, but it will be interesting to see how/if he changes once he reads about Aaron and Steve's relationship. Given that his family has a significant amount of bi and/or homosexual relationships, what will this mean towards more acceptance of his own emotional & sexual desires - even though he chooses to keep them from view... It is just not possible for Mark and team Arbour to churn out chapters fast enough to keep us happy, but I suppose that anticipation is a great condiment! In this case less would be more…appreciated! LOL!

Agree with most of the reviews here though would add that I was very happy that Will recognized the risk of Zach's seemingly absolute focus and ruthlessness to achieve his goals. He correctly understands that even though it would likely cause Zach pain to leave him behind, Zach will do so to have a shot at the pro's. I don't see Will tolerating being Zach's dirty big secret as part of a long term relationship strategy. Unless of course we see a JP/Stef scenario of love surviving bad timing, only to come to complete fruition a couple decades down the road. This presumes Zach has his pro career and comes out only after retirement. It will be very hard to wait patiently for these next few chapters to play out!

A very interesting chapter. More insight into Zack and you have to wonder if anything that Will said will make Wally rethink his relationship with Zach? Of course it would not be Will's comments alone - anything that Brad might have added while Will was napping in the back of the plane could give enough credence for him to give them weight. The question is since our author did not to expand on it, is could have such additional comments have been made? I have to wonder if Zach will be the element that ends up pulling Frank out of this tailspin? But for that to happen, I'm almost afraid for Zach and what would be happening in his life, to get enough of Frank's attention for this to happen? There certainly is a lot going on and it means will continue to have a very interesting ride with this story as it continues to develop... Thank you Mark for another chapter - keeping my fingers crossed for a New Year's Eve surprise… LOL! Happy New Year wishes in advance to to you and your team!

I wonder how long it will take for Ethan and Will just have a little blowup? I suspect though that it will not be in front of Nana – Nana will surely make him sorry... I suspect there is a lot of resentment built up with Ethan and maybe his behavior is just a manifestation of that. The question is, will he accept the fact that his life is about to change for the positive and will he see it that way? I suspect there is some professional counseling in his near future... It was good to see how the Triton security issue went down and quite a twist to find Lisa was an ex to Hank. I hope we get to see quite a bit more of Mr. Mendoza… Let us see how Brad handles this!

Wow! Is this chapter early compared to the recent release schedule or has just more time gone by that I thought? No matter, it was gladly received… I think it was hilarious that Stef had the room lock picked but great that he provided Will with all of the tools/toys neededto take care of himself. This way he won't have to go prowling to find someone to take care of his needs. Not to say that is the way he operates. So Stef has basically dealt with safety on two levels – I agree with others that the way Austin behaved to ensure Will had a great getaway and helping ease what could have been a very tense situation. I too was was surprised by how Scott helped Brad even though it was off to a rough start. in the way to Brad needed that. We're so used to the sleazy Scott that we can easily forget that he was Brad's best friend in high school still does really care about Brad... In as much as Scott can care for anybody!

Another great chapter as usual... Knowing that Brad is getting wrapped up in the painting project that Will asked for is a good thing since it seems that he really isn't doing very well, which certainly is understandable. It is also good to see Tony taking small, relatively safe steps, as he comes out to those closest to him. He will definitely need that support structure to lean on after he calls Rick and then has to deal with the after effects... The closing scene with Brad and the unfinished painting of Robbie, as Will found him, is a heart tugging reminder of everything with which they are dealing. A suitable reminder to reinforce the point that JP made as they had their nightly joint. Thank you Mark and team!

In my review of the last chapter I cheered Will for making them wait to have the "fight" over Zack and the trust, and of course, the car. I was most pleasantly surprised to see who will do an about-face and give his dad a break, just like Robbie asked them to. I'm paraphrasing of course but I'm sure everyone guess what I mean. While it's disappointing that Kai has apparently moved on it was a valuable lesson for Will that Brad was able to bring to light so that he got it... Tony Tony Tony… I don't know, maybe I can be the unrealistic romantic and hope that Tony will make his way through therapy so that he and Will can have a real chance at a meaningful relationship...

Oh, the drama; and to end it right there! You could think that Mr. Arbour has taken a page out of the play book followed by a certain cliff side dwelling goat that also writes for our pleasure! Austin appears to be a pretty nice kid that will perhaps be a good friend for Will. It was a really nice move by Will to have Stef make his point about business risk and to back that up by asking that his dad share information about his current idea. Will also had a great offense going into JP's study and facing them all down in the way that he did, and then leaving Gathan and Brad to stew in their own juices until such time as Will is ready to skewer them again at a time more of his choosing - way to go Will, keeping them off balance! Thanks Mark and team!

We can't have George with clogged pipes due to lack of use! Happy that Eastwyck was able to help with out providing heat in more ways than one... Was bit concerned about George twisting the tail of representatives of the Directorate and their hangers-on; we wouldn't want his and Eastwyck's safety return to England to,England compromised! Thanks Mark & team Arbour!

This chapter was well worth the wait! Reviews that preceded mine pretty much hit all of the points that I was thinking so I will not add anything else here except that, I do believe there's a whole lot of action to be seen just around the corner… thank you Mark and team Arbour!

Wow - what an explosive ending given the conversation between Gatling and Calvert. We certainly know what Caroline can do but then throw Winkler into the mix! Perhaps both Gatling and Calvert should be happy that they wouldn't be subjected to what Winkler could do if either were to be on a ship with George and Winkler...

Given how the this chapter ended, I think Brian "The Father", needs to be the target of the snipers. Nothing good can come from their meeting up with Brian or Dare even thinking of going back. I don't see Brian giving up. What is the old saying? "Absolute power corrupts" absolutely" - and clearly Brian has absolute power to wield in his weird world...

Well, it looks as though the proverbial excrement is about to hit the fan…

Okay, so I really enjoy the way the story has just taken a big twist but... There needs to be more care given to proofreading as there were a number of errors where either a dictation program is not working very well or some auto correction functions are not working properly. I was able to reason out most of what I think was intended, except for option number three. Not sure what that was supposed to be... Thank you for sharing your story and I hope that the errors that I have just mentioned are less frequent in future chapters!

Well the way this chapter started with the detail of Robbie's estate I was fairly certain that we would not get to meet Ethan this chapter. What a happy surprise that we did get to meet him at the end. Hearing Ethan described by Carpenter certainly made a lot of sense when it came to understanding a little bit about how he thinks. It's also good to know that Matt read Ethan correctly and pointed out Wade's near error. Thank you Mark for rescuing the weekend… LOL!

I will have to go back and reread this chapter and the end of the last one. I found the conversation between those two characters that turned out to be twin brothers, to be a bit confusing. The end of this chapter where the relationship of the brothers was fleshed out helped me put into perspective the last portion of chapter 1 and I think give me some perspective into the overall characters and how they have been interacting. I am looking forward to continue reading the story to see when you take us… Thank you for sharing your efforts!

I am wondering why Sean asked what sort of connection Dean has/had to the Internet - seems a bit odd...

I feel like channeling the bitchy JJ about having to wait to meet Ethan! LOL... I agree that JJ's POV sequences that we've been able to read have given us a great insight into JJ - I can only hope that we get to see and hear a lot more JJ as time goes on. It was really nice of John to be with JJ… Hopefully JJ doesn't get hurt since it seems clear based on recent storylines that John is straight, with only a slight Bi leaning, and that would've appeared to have been for Will with a slight detour courtesy of hormones into Zack… Will and Zack - I certainly did not see that one coming! Are we seeing the reformation of Zack? Only time and Mark will tell… okay Mark…How long will you torture us and make us wait to meet Ethan? It seemed like an eternity waiting for this chapter, but I can see how you and your team might've needed a rest after writing that hard emotional section the storyline we've all just endured. As always, thanks for your collective hard work!

Argh! I bet we don't get to meet and know Ethan for a couple more chapters... The Memorial for Robbie will no doubt be tough to get through and I hope it provides a measure of closure, comfort and the beginning of Brad's healing...

All in all, a very happy chapter and outcome for all participants… Carolyn I suspect, will first be distraught but happy to hear that Granger is alive and well in Paris. The only question is how long will our author keep him there?

Quite a sobering acknowledgement that Drew dropped on Brad at the end...count at least one saved from the street and hopefully many more now that Tim and his mission have been rescued...
