    Definitely a feel good chapter... In a city as big as Rome, you have to wonder what the odds are of Vinny having Berto as a boyfriend?

    I hope that Will doesn't get hooked on those pain pills...he doesn't have a dependent personality ;-) but sometimes these things can sneak up on people... Will Tony have an epiphany in Rome over Will...I think it is too soon for that though, but it is nice to think of...

    Hank hmmm... Conjures up images of closely cropped hair, denims with rolled up cuffs, wife beater, heavy boots, rolled up bandana - when Hank is not in her uni. Is that too stereotyped? No offense meant to our sisters in the community! ;-)

    Well I'm happy to see the CAP series back… I thought we would have a bit of a longer wait, I'm glad I was so wrong! Thanks Mark & team! ;-) At the moment it seems clear to me that Will is a lot more upset about not being able to get in the water then he is over the ending of his tryst with Kyle. Eric delivered a surprising lesson to Will, let's see what he learns from it...

    Well we knew the end was coming, I just didn't realize it would be with this chapter… But as everyone else has already written, it was really outstanding and I toohad tears in my eyes at the end. Maybe this is already been done, I just don't know… Perhaps we should have a poll and have people vote on their favorite CAP story segment. I know for me it would be very hard to choose though I do have a few favorites – big smile! Thanks again Mark & team for such wonderful entertainment; I can't imagine what we would do without it.

    For brave souls, three beating hearts – adrift in a massively damaged Atlantis close to being devoured by Dean. Will Shane be able to use his skills to restart one heart? All with no relief in sight for our friends; and likely a week or more befor the release of the next chapter giving relief to those of us dangling on the edge of our seats, as we slide over to the edge of the nefarious goat's cliff..

    Ah poor Will and his ongoing struggles with confused guys... Quite a shock about Shane though I suppose we shouldn't be surprised given the situation with the coach. And the return of Lark to the story line was really unexpected. I may just have to go back in time and re-read the CAP story segment where we met and learned all bout Lark - perhaps I can figure out who is Jeff's mother? Aside from that mystery we will have to wait and see if Jeff and "Scott" will meet... Mark is just full of surprises!

    With Matt and Wade professing their desire to remain with each other for all time, I get the sense we have arrived at one of the few remaining major story lines needing resolution. I certainly look forward to several more chapters of this book and will be sad to see it come to a close, but like all of the books that preceded this one, it just leads to another excellent story segment to be developed… Thanks Mark and team for continuing to deliver this great story to all of us…

    I am reminded of the Spanish Armada sailing to invade England… That's the way I felt before our boys set out on their unfortunately timed plan. Perhaps though the winds of Dean will yet confound Bridget's henchmen causing them to fail, snatching defeat from the jaws of victory! Where that would leave Joel & Lisa though, I am not certain. I am reminded of another story with a nearly hopeless plotline as well that had the heroes of that story at a significant disadvantage; facing a mad man with nuclear warheads and a raging volcano…they survived - So there is hope for the important foursome of this story…

    Not quite the bloodbath that Joel and Lisa's wedding like we were expecting… I have to admit to more than a few moments of chills as Joel and Lisa were next to the cliff, I felt certain that limo driver was Bridgets man – and he may very well be. I was especially anxious at the mention of alligator pond, or whatever. I felt certain they were going to be helped over the edge of that cliff, but then we really would've had the goat, for using cliffs! Only that, gave me a sense of relief before Joel and Lisa got back into the limousine and eventually were taken to the resort.

    I think the other folks here that provided their views have said pretty much everything I can't think of anything to add…other than to say thanks for the great story!

    I would say the ending of this chapter was a cliffhanger but our goat would disagree as he normally does and bolster his case by saying there are no cliffs in Florida. Would Gonzalez really leave only three FBI agents at the actual location of the wedding? It sure seems to be the case... It will be a looooong week - and even then Bridget gave instructions for Trev and Shane to be captured alive for her further and final, for our boys, entertainment...We will all be twisting in the wind until the epilogue is delivered! Vile, evil and twisted old goat!

    All in all a very nice feel-good chapter… Of course we still have JJ's dilemma to deal with but now we have the added tension between Wade and Matt. I wonder how much of Matt's attitude is the fact that he can never sleep with Brad because of the close familial ties? I'm not sure if a case of blue balls is the right analogy but I think if it's close enough - Matt has got to be so frustrated that Brad is so close but yet untouchable…

    Well I must say that I was a little bit surprised about Bridget and the First among equals but we are talking about Bridget after all. That was a fun little game she played with her enemies, parading her troops past their compounds to it give them a moment of pause. I wonder though if they really think that they can approach Guantánamo with a force to take out Trevor, Shane and Atlantis while at the base? Given Bridget's resources we have to guess that she really does know where they are...

    While the mission to capture the small frigate is not quite done it is nice to see that none of the major characters of "special" interest to our Lord Granger were inured or lost! We still have to see his Lordship leave the fort and return to Bacchante with the prisoners freed from the fort and no doubt there will be celebrations of various types! ;-)

    It sure is nice to see loving interaction in the family again. Even though the drama can be fun it does get a bit taxing emotionally – LOL Thanks for great chapter Mark and team!

    It's always darkest just before the end of the storm and as it breaks, the sun comes out… Pollyanna hopes you enjoy her view of things... Let us hope our boys encounter a few turns of good luck to have such an ending!
