The doctor is very much old school and heartily disapproves of the fact that parents are being pushed aside. Kei might not be a minor but he's not that far away from it and I think the doctor feels his parents should be involved. He might even be a bit homophobic, or a lot. If he’d thought about it, Alex should have known. He should have known the doctor would cut him out of the loop and he should have been alert for it. Fact is he didn’t and he wasn’t. The first he knew was when Kei’s parents arrived. Kei was still asleep but woke up when his mother practically shook him awake. He stared at her groggily for a few moments then frowned. “Go away,” he said. “Where’s Alex?” “I’m here, babe. It’s okay.” Kei relaxed. There was clearly nothing wrong with his memory.

After almost a year The Face in the Window is due for release shortly. I don't know the date yet but I'll keep you informed, This is the first book I'm releasing under my own name and it's a little bit nerve wracking. Well, he's crap at climate, wiped out a civilization and caused most of the major disasters in history. However, he did create a Trinity who have somehow managed to transform The Core. I think his chances fifty fifty at the moment.I love the sound of your short story

I'd want a lot more than that Right about now I'd want to ring Ari's neck. He could have out with this sooner and given them time to adjust. On the other hand, how the hell do you adjust to that! One minute you're a human, then you're an angel and now you're God. Hell of a couple of weeks for Pasha.

Thank you so much. The story was a joy to write, too. I'm thinking that at some point in the future I'll expand it into something fuller and bigger. It's really hard to get all the story into 1000 words a week and I have to be wary not to fill a chapter with filler so to speak so things have to be kept very short. There are all kinds of things I would like to have explored and expanded but didn't have the opportunity. Ari is one of the characters I would love to have got to know more. He's adorable. If you could only see what he gets up to inside my head I posed a question on my blog. I was thinking of writing in a hot threeway scene but I'm really not sure if it would end it off nicely or just be gratuitous. What do you think? I share your disgust of the media. I've never thought they should have the right to be so obtrusive. The price of fame is not to get your life and that of everyone you love, shredded. However, in this case it has brought up a few interesting leads. I'm looking forward to seeing how the kinks work out. the last line is a bit worrying though, sounds a little obsessive. I'm loving it so far. Maybe it's the 'Britishness' or that I know these guys - not literally of course I have to admit it took a while to get into the odd pov but once it sucked me in, it sucked like Marcus The story feels as if it could either stop or go on and I hope it goes on. I just really love the 'feel' of this one. Okay, I'm a freak but I like a bit of abuse here and there. Torture's good too....

Sorry, the last reply cut off I was meaning to say that Kei's mother is blind to the potential disaster she'/s hurtling into. She believes she knows what;s best for Kei and she'/s going to make it happen no matter what. People like that convince themselves utterly that what they're doing is for the best and will work out in the end. I don't think they hate Kei at all but he's their posession and Alex is dirtying him. One of their focuses is to get Kei away from Alex but I beleive they are trying to help him in their own way. They will support him all the way, as long as it's their way.

No one really knows what someone in a coma is aware of and it varies so much from person to person I think it will be a very long time, if ever, before we can predict with any degree of certainty. Kei is strongly aware of Alex's presence and it's quite likely that, even if he didn't hear or understand the words, Kei picked up on Alex's fear and frustration which might have been the catalyst that made him fight through the last veil so to speak. As for the Princes, of course they're going to do what's best for them not Kei. In their defence I think that his mother at least actually believes she's doign w

Bring a mother myself I have to hold my hands up and say that sometimes we don't, or don't want to see what's actually there but what we want or hope is there. The key is knowing when to stop, when the things we want for our children clash too much with what they want for themselves and it's time for us to step back and let them have their head.

That's exactly it. Poor Alex is being dragged further and further down. The only thing that keeps him going is his overwhelming belief in Kei. He hasn't doubted from the beginning that Kei would wake and they would be together again. Unfortunately he hasn't thought further than that and soon he's going to have to. The story is called Recovery for a reason.

You worry too much. For all I torture my characters I'm a great believer in the power of love, Kei might be confused but he knows he loves Alex and that won't change.

Over the rest of the day, Kei was awake for longer and longer periods and managed longer conversations, although they were still mainly disjointed words accompanied by smiles and touches. Hmm interesting. I never watched The Twilight Zone. Don't know why. I should have. To be fair to Ari it's not his playhouse it's his school exam and he's really doing his best. He finds climate hard but, unfortunately that's not the only thing he's messed up. I think, perhaps, this time his mistake won't prove to be a costly one and might just pull things out of the bag for him. He can be quite inspired when he's concentrating, as his ingenious way for getting the three wayward angels together shows. He must have been utterly horrified when they killed Gabri'el and I wonder if maybe he had a hand in the ressurection. I really dont know what's coming next so I'm excited to write the next installment too

I'm very fond of Ari. He really is cute but I don't think he's cut out to be a scientist. For one thing, he can't help but interfere in the experiments and he has good ideas but they keep turning out badly. I know the chapter was too short but it's being written as a weekly flash fiction so I have to stick rigidly to 1000 words and that's really hard for me.

Another great chapter. Being apart for three months can't be easy for anyone, and seeing the person you love splattered all over the internet with a woman, even when you know there's nothing in it must be hard. With Mark already having a history of depression and axiety the result is inevitable really. I'm looking forward to their reunion almost as much as they are.
