  1. I just finished reading Rider's Pride, and I enjoyed it. It wasn't nearly has heavy as Dreams, or Do Over, or Rich boy was, but a beautiful and meaningful story nonetheless. Thank you for writing it, dkstories!
  2. Hey Pheonix, I think I already mentioned this (right about the time I edited it ) but it's a great story, and I loved the chapter As far as not being able to post in the announcements, there is an e-mail address floating around (somewhere... I can't seem to quite track it down) to let someone know you plan to participate as an author around here, and get added to the authors group. I'm sure someone will point you at it.
  3. I loved the do-over series, quite a bit. The first story was just lovely, with the opportunity to fix the mistakes of a past life and find a joy beyond his wildest dreams. The second one kind of turned me off a little because of how bitter it all was -- he'd had such a great life, and now he had to turn around and give it all up. Other than that, I enjoyed all of them. Even the last one, where they had to go back 'yet again' to fix stuff was a great story, and I love how they decided to send not one, but all six of themselves back to do their new do over (and then do it over over...). It's a beautiful series, and thank you for writing it. It was well worth reading. I'm only sad to see you aren't going to Do It Again or something similar (hint hint, nudge nudge ).
  4. Excuse me while I go do a little victory dance! (And some research on those names... I don't follow actor / writer names very well, and probably never will)
  5. I doubt they're going to recreate the entire series like that; we may -- may! -- be lucky enough to get some more "New Original Series" movies, or even a "New Original Series" TV series, but that doesn't mean we're going to see them recreating everything else. If nothing else, the time line differences should be great enough after 80 years to pretty much 'prevent' the same crews from coming together again.
  6. Sounds like my kinda guy
  7. I will admit to being (very) disappointed by the 'final' chapter, but thank you for the rest of the (wonderful, wonderful) story nonetheless. I'll just have to hope that some time, some day, some way, you'll go and 'undo' that 33'rd chapter, either with a sequel or with 'un-completing' the story and replacing it with the original that someone mentioned earlier. Edit: To clarify, I was so very disappointed because I was deeply enjoying the story, and having it cut off that way, with most of the story still unwritten was... unsatisfying. It's enough to make me almost not want to read the rest of your works.
  8. Where's the poll option for "I don't have enough experience to make up my mind"?
  9. I'm reaching the end of "The Bully", which is an absolutely lovely story, and just read a line I just had to comment on. Reading that had me laughing. It's hilarious, and fits them perfectly. Hopefully Dawn of Tears will be just as good a read. Edit: OK, I liked the (non cliffie! ) ending too: Too perfect. (Oh, and can some mod move this up a forum? I placed it wrong)
  10. My opinion? Too cold, even if the civil rights are 'right'
  11. I just started reading your works the other day. The cliffie to the first part had me really angry; the ending to this part... Let's leave it at I really can't wait to see part 3. Good work.
  12. Wow, guess I decided to start browsing around here a little... I would have missed out on this! You do realize this means you've added yet another story to my already overloaded reading list, right WL?
