Graduation is a bitter sweet time as some prepare to leave for college, but excitement reigns as everyone plans to attend Randy & Altaf’s wedding. As Josh recovers, some of the older boys pitch in to help out, so they won’t be split up. After 9/11, Josh comes to the rescue of a boy whose parents died that day. He also has to deal with a biological mother who is trying to regain custody by claiming Josh is unfit. Which way will the court rule?

Josh takes back a boy he’d previously had removed from his home, but is willing to give him a second chance. Josh also takes in another new boy, as well as discovering one of his other sons has a unique gift, which turns out to be a precursor to the family’s first major setback. Is it something that will destroy their current life?

The Curries go on vacation, once in the US and then to England. On the US trip, they pick up a run-away, but leave him with friends in Texas while they are in England. In the U.K., they meet a family that has come together in a similar way as their own. Will they be able to reunite the boy with his family when they get back or end up taking him in?

The Currie family continues to grow and Josh decides to have his new sons vacation with his biological children, so they can get acquainted. Shortly after they return home, Josh learns that the local paper and two national magazines have written articles about them. Does this make their lives better or worse?

Josh is a widower whose children have grown and moved away. He’s alone in a huge house, so when a friend suggests he should take in children in need. After thinking this over, he decides to take in boys, especially gay boys. This is the story about how it happens, but will it end happily?
