Jexon Kendrik is a veterinary student at a university in Perth Western Australia, his home is a remote cattle station in the Pilbara region of northern Western Australia, just south of the hottest town in the state, where temperatures are often 40 degrees Celsius or above during the summer months. Not long after turning twenty one, life for Jexon takes a different turn which includes a bit of travelling to the countries capital and plenty of drama.

Jexon and Marcus are now married, and return home to meet two new staff members, so building alterations to the upstairs area of the Vet Hospital and a brand new aircraft waiting on the tarmac, a wedding gift from the family. It isn't long before both Marcus and Jexon are in full swing with work, been called out to the new Quarantine Station just East of the border, with them landing on the new airfield on the west side of the border.

Book Three of the Adventures of the Desert Vets - Marcus Sanderson and his husband Jexson Kendrik, accept an offer to do a Work Exchange with two Veterinarians from a Veterinary practice in Cardiff, Wales.
