Alex's Little Book of Poems - 5. Fall
Poem number five, which represents my favorite season of the year!
Summer has come to a close,
And with more layers of clothes,
For it is fall,
My favorite season of all,
Where Halloween is striking,
And the Thanksgiving feasts are quite frightening,
Where the leaves change shade,
And take a tumble from where they once stayed,
When candy comes pouring,
As the children are warring,
The food plentiful and great,
And many gain much weight,
The time of year I love,
With my eyes cast above,
To the brilliant sky,
With the stars brilliant above I,
Where I seek the warmth of my home,
To stay inside from the land that I roam,
Only to hope for a man,
With a creative plan,
To give me heat,
Which would be a wonderful treat.
Hope you enjoyed it.
