Quirky Poesy - 1. Yeudos

Be there for you,

Always have your back,

Until death do us part.

You complete me,

And provide what I lack,

Betray you never.

Live in my heart!

Love you forever!

Never anyone new!

I think the poem is great, but knowing what the title means leaves me feeling a bit queasy. I'm assuming you want readers to feel some of that, but the not knowing if the words were/are spoken in an attempt to fool, or the lying utterances of a loved one, it just all makes me a bit....you know....scared.

It's a brilliant poem though, and I'm glad you posted it!

Thanks AC!

Well this is certainly not my genre, but your 'queasy' feeling was what I was trying to achieve. (actually I was thinking 'unease.')

So, at least in that respect, it was successful.
