Quirky Poesy - 2. The Love with No Pattern

As by fate,

He

Did create our

We.

Proving all the hate

Unerringly inconsequential.

Justly

Beaten by the flower

Of love eternal

...

hr />For Drew, whose heart beats in the same metre   ;)

Aw!!! :*) That's so sweet of you Skinny!

I figured it out after reading it a few times, but I'm keeping my lips sealed, I want others to figure it out and win that dinner :)

This is an amazing poem Skinny

Thanks Drew!

I know it's kinda weird, but I was playing around with stuff and the thought hit me, so I said, "Why not?"

It was fun trying, anyway.

I thought this was great! :) I'm not a very deep person, so I had to read the poem a few times for it to finally click! :D

Unfortunately, I don't really know Drew, so unless the 'We' in your poem stands for you and Drew, and God (?) stands for 'He', God put you two together, and despite all the haters out there, your love will conquer all! :) Wow, that was one long, run-on sentence. lol

Or, maybe 'He' doesn't stand for God, but Drew himself. Maybe Drew played matchmaker, and introduced you to your eternal love. :) Of course I'm probably way off base with both of these!

And now of course I remembered you wanted a PM. Shit.

Haha Lisa lol

Don't try to be 'deep' with anything I write ...go for impressions, feelings.

Thanks for reading and spending a bit of time. It's appreciated.

I'm sure the reason has to do with numbers or a mathmatical pattern. I don't much care why. I LOVE the poem. It's quite stunning in its simplicity. I love the phrasing, formatting, and the message. You have skills, my friend... cheers... Gary...

Thanks for the kind words Gary!

It WAS a little more difficult, trying to get feeling and meaning inside the straight jacket of the pattern. I'm glad you liked the phrasing. That part took the longest to get the message across with all the restrictions.
