About this story

Short stories are definitely not my strong suit, and this attempt soon became a continuous story inspired by the challenge of First Line prompts.
Constructive criticism and kind encouragement are more than welcome.

Thank you to comicfan for providing the first line prompts for these stories.
Irri has kindly set up a story forum.

Tim--just to let you know: I got and loved the reverse-carrot reference to Jasper--laughed right away and could just see him perfectly!

Eric blurting out things is what he did at dinner before going if I'm not mistaken, and Rob tried to stop him at the sink. (?)

Good to know you liked the carrot joke too. :) thanks for letting me know.

And yes you're right, Eric did innocently blurt out Nelson's offer to have him stay the night (during breakfast, not dinner). But he's learnt his lesson now and won't make the same mistake twice. Unlike Rob LOL

So it's 2019 and I don't know if you ever plan on writing more about these people, but I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed reading this book - in fact I devoured it all today! It sucked me in from the very first chapter and kept my attention and desire for more primed. Thanks for a very enjoyable read!

Oh and I can't even tell you how often I laughed out loud while reading! I'm sorry I didn't actually comment on the chapters that touched me the most... I'll do better in the future!

You'll be happy to know I'm currently writing on more chapters and hope to start posting once I'm done with the story I'm writing together with Aditus.

If you laughed a lot, my missions with this story is a success. :2thumbs:
