As I push my boundaries, I learn more about this type of writing. My comfort level increases and hopefully my skill improves. Unlike writing larger stories where the canvas I paint on is vast, there is a beauty in writing poetry and telling a story or drawing an images in a few words.

I'm always trying to expand my writing skills and Mikiesboy (AKA, tim) encouraged me to checkout the poetry prompts. This is definitely a work in progress since I hardly know anything about poetry, however, I wanted to give this a shot, so here goes nothing.
