Scott Waxman had a troubled childhood. Growing up as he did he faced challenges and had to learn to grow with them to survive.

This is an introduction chapter of what had been planned as a joint project with Carlos Hazday for his CJ Series. He only got to see a rough draft as it was tabled due to other projects we both had going. In memory of the one year anniversary of his death I decided to share this. Unfortunately, the full story will never be completed.

Randy Watson had been mostly happy with his life of hopping from one women’s bed to another in his small town of Burney. Things changed when he met a sexy man working in town for the summer. He not only ended up with one boyfriend, but two. On top of that, he found out both men were something called a lycan. His final surprise was being asked if he wanted to become one too.

Trevor Carlson is making his way through graduate school. He’s the best friend and beta to the most powerful wolves known to exist. Rather than be swallowed by the shadows of his friend’s success, Trevor’s shown time and again he’s a confident and powerful force who can stand on his own. A summer internship working at his friends pack in California broadens his horizons and reminds him not all education takes place in the classroom.

As I push my boundaries, I learn more about this type of writing. My comfort level increases and hopefully my skill improves. Unlike writing larger stories where the canvas I paint on is vast, there is a beauty in writing poetry and telling a story or drawing an images in a few words.

When asked for help by his alpha, Brandon Holstrom stepped forward to heed the call. This is not exactly a continuation of Alone in the Night, but just some memories from that same time period.

Chris Williams was exiled from Parker Valley Pack after participating in an attack on the mate of another wolf. After being forced to leave the only home he knew, he was taken in by a pack on the west coast as a favor to his old Alpha. At the suggestion of the counselor helping him work through his many problems, he began keeping a journal of his thoughts on what got him to where he is.

Ethan Scott tires of life in the city after several years of living on the streets and decides a trip to the mountains is the change he needs. Little does he know what direction that change will take.
